We knew Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were missing each other and "counting down the days" until filming began on Breaking Dawn. But it appears they missed each other even more than we imagined ... in our wildest dreams.

The two reportedly eloped to the Caribbean island of Martinique.

No photos from the impromptu wedding were leaked because "the couple insisted on total privacy," says a local source, saying they even used assumed names.

"Not even their family members were there."

The five-minute nuptials reportedly took place at sunset Saturday at a private resort. If only they had chosen an island off the coast of Brazil, like Edward and Bella.

Oh well, nobody's perfect ... well, except for the future spawn of Robsten.

Incredible as it is that Robsten apparently made it official, there's an entirely different and troubling component to this story, too. For various reasons, their marriage has potentially put the future of Breaking Dawn in doubt.

Chris Weitz, who directed both stars in New Moon, is reportedly incensed at the distraction and media circus they have caused, which is likely to intensify now.

Moreover, a Summit Entertainment rep had no comment on the situation, but an insider tells Life & Style that its higher-ups are "not pleased" with their stars.

Their lack of communication over the elopement has execs worried about their availability for the new film, which is supposed to begin filming later this year.

Finally, the newlyweds, Kristen Stewart in particular, are said to be "exploring options" to void their contracts for the fourth installment of the Twilight saga.

But despite those concerns, the studio really be forced to pull the plug?

Of course not. This is April Fools BS. Did we fool you? Maybe a little bit? This one was sort of a stretch ... our fake Miley Cyrus news was a little more believable.

This one, though? About as real as this Robert Pattinson wax figure. The chemistry between K-Stew and R-Patt might be electric, but for now, they are not married.

Give it time, however. Let filming for Breaking Dawn commence (it's not in jeopardy in any way) and we're sure rumors such as this will pop up again before long.

Sorry, Robert Pattinson. But you're no longer the only person to have seen Kristen Stewart in her underwear.

In a newly-released clip from The Runaways, the Twilight Saga star portrays Joan Jett and practices her iconic single "I Love Rock 'n Roll." She does so in very skimpy attire.

This is certainly a far cry from Bella Swan...

The Runaways premiered in Los Angeles last night.

Focusing on the formation and development of a band led by Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, The Runaways has been well-received by critics. The singers are played by Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, respectively.

They posed together on the red carpet of the premiere, as Stewart even managed to crack a smile:

In a recent interview with SPIN magazine, Kristen talked about this role, compared to Bella in the Twilight Saga:

“I was terrified. I was going, ‘Oh my God, why the f-ck am I here?’ This was the coolest job I’d had - it was something different during a long stint of something very much the same. I knew I needed to cut off Bella’s long hair. I needed to be able to throw my head around and feel the sweat dripping.”

Getting a piece of the Oscar night action, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart were both spotted at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in West Hollywood.

Miss Stewart opted for a shimmery black strapless dress while Taylor kept it classic in a black tuxedo with a bow tie.

With another year’s ceremony come and gone, the 2010 Academy Awards announced the big winners during a ceremony at Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night (March 7).

Taking home the top prize of Best Picture was “The Hurt Locker,” which ended up winning a total of six Oscar trophies.

One of the most-anticipated attendees, Kristen Stewart looked fabulous at the 82nd annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (March 7).

Held at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, the Bella Swan beauty navigated the red carpet as she readied to present alongside Taylor Lautner.

For the second time in a couple weeks, Robert Pattinson has seemingly confirmed his relationship with Kristen Stewart. First, he told a reporter at the BAFTA awards that he and his Twilight Saga star were "together."

On Monday night, meanwhile, he was asked by Life & Style how he felt about his girlfriend being at the NYC premiere of Remember Me. Rob's response? It's nice.

But... wait! There's even more speculation! A witness told the tabloid that Robsten was in full PDA mode inside the theater.

"As the lights went down Kristen clapped along with the crowd. She leaned over to Rob and nuzzled her head into his neck," the source said. "He leaned his head into hers. They looked quietly affectionate and at ease with one another."

The onlooker added:

"During various scenes in the movie, Rob gave Kristen a nudge shoulder to shoulder. It was a cute gesture... Throughout the movie, they each took sips from the same water bottle and they nuzzled into each other's necks as they whispered and cuddled. It looked like they were kissing each other's necks at different points in the movie - about six times."

Other reports have indicated the number of possible Pattinson and Stewart neck kisses was closer to four. We're working the phones as we type this to find out for certain.

"I can't say I don't want that, because people take it to the extreme and say that I hate it," Kristen told E! News. "No, no, no! That's not true."

If it's taken Stewart longer than most to adjust, it's because she never saw any of this coming. When she first signed on for Twilight, the actress says she couldn't have predicted that she and Robert Pattinson would cover every tabloid on the market.

"We didn't even know we were going to make a second one. We were just like, 'It's really cool. It's different and we've never seen a love story like this.' I thought it would just be another cool Catherine Hardwicke movie."

It was... and then some!

As for rumors that Breaking Dawn will be split into two movies?

"It looks like a 'yes,' but it's still not concrete," Stewart said. "It would be hard to cram all of it into one movie."

If the final book really is broken into a pair of films, Kristen will remain in the spotlight for that much longer. Hopefully, she's at least smiling on the inside over that possibility.

There was a bit of Internet buzz yesterday that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had broken up, or at least taken a break from seeing each other.

But E! News has clarified its original report and now states the following: Rob and Kristen are very much together and quite happy, but multiple movie studio executives would like them to cool off just a bit.

"Let's just say Rob and Kristen got a slap on the wrist," said an insider. "Everyone, from their management to the studios involved in their upcoming movies, is worried [Rob and Kristen] will start to become... distracted."

This concern seems a bit misguided, considering how rarely the couple is actually seen together and how mature each side handles the relationship.

But there are a lot of jobs and a lot of money at stake on each actor's next film - The Runaways for Stewart and Remember Me for Pattinson - and sources say higher-ups wish to make sure that Pattinson and Stewart have their eyes on the proverbial ball.

Of course, these same suits will be pushing Robert and Kristen to travel everywhere together when it's time to promote Eclipse. It can't be easy to date in Hollywood.

In the flick, the “Twilight” babe plays a 16-year-old prostitute who ends up meeting Gandolfini’s character while working at a strip club.

It’s one of the biggest events of the year for the movie industry, and the Sundance Film Festival kicks off today (January 21) in Park City, Utah.

As with every year, the mountainside town is already beginning to fill up with a plethora of celebrities eager to see the latest film projects in the pipeline.

After a tremendous year, “Twilight” queen Kristen Stewart is on the nominees list for the 2010 Bafta Rising Star award.

The Bella Swan babe continues to push forth with her “Twilight” saga success while also taking up other roles in films including “The Runaways” and “Welcome to the Rileys”.

It’s no secret that the “Twilight Saga” films are some of the most successful of our time, thanks to hotties like Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. But author Stephenie Meyer doesn’t necessarily want to see her “Breaking Dawn” novel made into two separate films.

As the head honchos over at Summit are pushing Meyer to agree to splitting the last book, but she’s just not sure it’s the right thing to do for the story.

Putting her heart and soul into the movie “New Moon,” Kristen Stewart says she was devastated when pictures of the cast were leaked onto the Internet before the film’s release.

“I was heartbroken when pictures were all over the Internet. I didn’t want anybody to see certain looks, like Taylor in his wig, because we wanted to surprise people when the movie came out,” says the Bella Swan actress.

Coming in as no surprise, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been named the most popular celebrity couple of the year.

Although the “Twilight” actors will not publicly admit their romance, they still managed to land the number one spot - grabbing up 45% of the vote - in an online poll taken by Gossip Center.

They sure aren’t helping their “we aren’t dating” case- Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reportedly took a romantic island holiday to ring in 2010.

The “Twilight” sweethearts were spotted in the town of Ventor on the Isle of Wight (southern coast of England) by a young fan on New Year’s Eve.

Tiger Woods’ Many Mistresses - While he ruled the world of professional golf, Tiger Woods was utterly defeated in the relationship department.  News of his many affairs with as many as 14 (or more) mistresses has landed the golf stud in hot water with his wife as well as his sponsors.  Woods has taken an indefinite leave from the PGA and hopes to reconcile with his wife Elin Nordegren, who has taken their kids to Sweden for Christmas.

The announcement by Adam Lambert that he'd be interested in recording a track for the Eclipse soundtrack? Very cool.

But the release of the first image from the third film in the Twilight Saga? Swoon, shriek and hyperventillation worthy!

Summit Entertainment, the movie studio responsible for the franchise, has leaked the following photo from Eclipse. On one hand, it's simply a shot of Edward and Bella in a field of flowers.

On the other hand, IT'S A SHOT OF EDWARD AND BELLA IN A FIELD OF FLOWERS! Get excited, fans, and then get to ogling...

Among other newsworthy items related to the movie over the past couple months:

• Kirsten Prout, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Jack Huston, Jodelle Ferland, and Xavier Samuel have all been cast in key roles.
• Bryce Dallas Howard will controversially replace Rachel Lefevre as Victoria.

Fans are still buzzing over the second tidbit. Now, they can at least shift their focus back to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's characters.

Kristen Stewart does many things well: pout, fall for vampires, make love to Robert Pattinson.

Heck, she's not even a terrible singer.

And with the release of a new clip from her flick “The Yellow Handkerchief,” Miss Stewart shows off her Southern accent chops and dramatic flair.

We know Kristen Stewart can pout, we know she can play a heroine in trouble and we know she can please Robert Pattinson in the sack.

But sing?

The actresses shows off her vocal talents in The Runaways, a Joan Jett biopic scheduled for a March 19 release. Stewart portrays the iconic rocker, while Dakota Fanning plays a fellow band members.
