Britney Spears is donating an old dress to Haiti relief efforts.

While that doesn't sound impressive, it might when you consider that it's the shimmery silver Versace dress she wore to the MTV Video Music Awards in 2008.

It's being auctioned off, with proceeds to be donated to a charity whose name is not yet known. We missed her at the Hope For Haiti telethon, but go Britney!

Britney, who loves her body in that (or any) dress, not the only star who’s opening her up her wallet - or closet - to benefit the earthquake-stricken country.

Kate Bosworth, for one, is putting a dress up for grabs at auction to benefit OxFam International’s Haiti Relief Program through Charitybuzz.

Susan Sarandon is getting in on the auction action by donating the size-6 Dolce & Gabanna LBD she wore to the 15th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

Artists for Peace and Justice are helping Meryl Streep, Josh Brolin, Gerard Butler, Amy Poehler, and Olivia Wilde donate their Golden Globe Awards fashion.

Lady Gaga, meanwhile, may be holding onto her outrageous costumes, but she's selling personalized Lady Gaga Haiti Relief T-shirts on her official website.

To spread the news, the new music icon Tweeted, “Buy Gaga merch today. 100% of profit goes to earthquake relief. Little Monsters save the world today!”

What began as a quirky movement against PETA has transitioned into something truly horrible: a run on fashion so abysmal that it's giving Lady GaGa a run for her outlandish money.

Yesterday, Kanye West's girlfriend was spotted in some sort of skinsuit that can only be described as... some sort of skinsuit.

Today, as her and her man continue to tour Paris Fashion Week, Rose donned an outfit that - to quote Kanye - was anything but the best of all-time. Take a look:

Take a backseat, all other fashion trainwrecks of 2010. Amber Rose has set the bar so low that no ridiculous outfit will ever top it. Or bottom it, we guess we should say.

The short-haired girlfriend of Kanye West accompanied her man to Paris for that city's Fashion Week over the past few days, and each dress she donned was more outlandish than the previous one.

Unlike the fur coats worn by this duo last Thursday, at least no animals were harmed in the making of the attire below. But that's the only positive thing we can say about it...

Jessica Simpson sported a remarkably subdued ensemble at the premiere of Extraordinary Measures Tuesday night. We hardly recognized it was Jess.

While leggings as pants are always a bit questionable (Gossip Girl fashion has taught us some things), but we like the conservative, all-black effect overall.

Neither Kim Kardashian nor Lindsay Lohan possesses much talent or body weight.

But while the former at least has the support of her family, poor Lindsay has been throwing the tabloid wolves by her ex-convict of a father and attention whore of a mother. The result, sadly, has been rumors of drug use and cutting.

Therefore, we can forgive Lohan's unoriginal sense of fashion. She does have a lot on her mind these days.

This may explain why Lindsay's Brian Lichtenberg dress at this month's InStyle Golden Globes after-party was the exact same outfit worn by Kardashian a few weeks earlier in Las Vegas.

As you can see, the current life partner of Brad Pitt (at least until Star breaks them up tomorrow) rocked a Versace gown to the Inglourious Basterds premiere.

Sucks for Jen! Oh, who are we kidding. She totally copied it on purpose.

Jenni Farley, a.k.a. JWoww from Jersey Shore, is starting a clothing line.

We suppose this isn't all that surprising, given the rising ratings of the MTV show, but seriously, what does JWoww know about clothes? Girl barely wears anything!

JWoww's outfits at clubs in Seaside Heights, N.J., mostly serve to reveal her gigantic fake breasts, which are further revealed during her many shoving matches.

Just the same, "Jenni Farley has created the ultimate in fashionable clothing," her official site reads. "She will be reinventing the term 'Sexy Sophisticated.'"

LOL. That's like The Situation redefining the term Classy Humility.

JWoww fashion is coming soon. Don't expect a lot of coverage! For your chest, that is. There will be plenty of media coverage, as there is with all things Jersey Shore.

The limited Jenni Farley "exclusive line" is "edgy" but will make "people of all ages" feel confident and comfortable in "the scene," according to her website.

"Remember you don't want to be that person at the club that see's [sic] someone else wearing the same thing," the site states. No worries in that case!

The starlet was one of eight self-described "guidos" and "guidettes" who shared a summer house for the wildly popular, controversial MTV reality series.

The 90210 star has apparently grown so lonely that she's turned to an unusual place for love, affection and second base action: her dress.

Spotted at a Golden Globes after-party last night, the actress appears to have a pair of white-gloved hands cupping her breasts. Upon closer inspection, however, these are actually part of her outfit.

It's a wonder McCord isn't squealing in pain in the picture below. You gotta figure those pseudo mittens are hanging on to her skin and bones (and nipples) for dear life...

As style showdowns go, Rachel Zoe vs. Drew Barrymore is not exactly a heavyweight matchup. And not just because Rachel Zoe last ate a healthy dinner in 2002.

Seriously, there's nothing there. While Halle Berry and Mariah Carey flaunted their voluptuous figures, Zoe apparently wore some curtains from her guest room.

Who looked better at the Golden Globes?

There were many winners at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards.

Mad Men took home the prize for Best TV Drama; both of Dexter's male leads from season four earned trophies; and Avatar was named Best Picture.

But there was one undisputed champion on the night: men everywhere!

A huge billboard for Weatherproof Sportswear will be removed from New York City’s Times Square. The reason? The guy wearing their jacket never consented.

That would be President Barack Obama.

When it went up last week, the company was blasted for appropriating Obama’s likeness; now they say the ad will be taken down “in an expeditious manner.”

White House spokesperson Ben LaBolt, who declined to comment specifically about Weatherproof’s decision to take the billboard down, told People of the ad:

“The White House has a longstanding policy disapproving of the use of the President of the United States name and likeness for advertising purposes.”

A LEADER IN STYLE: So much so that people shoplift it!

While the Obamas were recently voted Americans' most desired celebrity neighbors and are popular style icons, some say this violates Barack's right to privacy.

So, what was the company thinking when it put up the ad? Weatherproof President Freddie Stollmack, who called the campaign “serendipitous,” explained:

“We saw a picture of President Obama visiting the Great Wall of China and we said, ‘Boy that looks like our coat.’” It was a simple idea, but hard to defend.

Intellectual property lawyer Barbara Solomon said it's "not an issue of expression but pure commercial appropriation. This is an advertisement, nothing but.”

The Obamas are apparently frequent targets of such image-stealing. Last week PETA caused a stir with an anti-fur ad that featured Michelle Obama pictures.

Miley Cyrus is growing up.

The singer/actresss will soon depart Hannah Montana; she's moving in with her boyfriend; and she apparently just started dressing herself.

We're drinking the Lady Gaga Kool-Aid a little these days.

At first, it was easy to dismiss her as a gimmick who gained more notoriety through her ridiculous outfits than through her music. But five hit songs later?

It's not just her album sales (top five in 2009) that earned our respect. It's how deadly serious she is about, and how hard she works at her unique craft.

Michael Jackson wanted to collaborate with her, and 944 magazine editor Martine Bury goes so far to compare her to the Thin White Duke, David Bowie:

944: Lady Gaga has about that many signature looks.

“Lady Gaga liberates music and fashion the way David Bowie and other Brit Glam rockers did in the '70s," he writes. "Using costume, artifice and drama."

"All the while, she bends gender norms and conventions. But she also one ups everyone with her phenomenal vocal talent and truly unique aesthetic.”

While David Bowie comparisons may be premature for a girl in her early 20s, Lady G is certainly leaving an indelible mark on the industry these days.

Like another rising star of 2009 in American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert, we're excited to see if she continues to tap seemingly unlimited potential.

Taylor Swift is pretty much every person on the planet's choice.

The singer continued her award-winning ways by nabbing Favorite Female Artist at last night's People's Choice Awards. But there's one honor Swift has not walked away with yet:

Champion of a Fashion Face-Off against Demi Lovato.

She has the chance today, however, as these young singers are matched up against one another. Each looked pretty on the red carpet, but only one can be crowned the winner. You tell us who it should be...

Who was prettier on the red carpet?

We admire Jennifer Lopez for being proud of her curvy body. We wish all female celebrities would set such a healthy example for young women.

That said, the singer still looked terrible in her New Year's Eve bodysuit. It was simply a ridiculous outfit for anyone to wear.

However, Scott Barnes begs to differ. The star's make-up artist spoke to People about his client's fashion choice and said:

“She was having such a good time and it really showed. She has confidence about her body. She’s not hiding behind any insecurities... She is 40 and she’s had two kids. Her body looks better than ever. It was so hot!”

Barnes compared the outfit above to Lopez's iconic Versace dress from the 2000 Grammy Awards:

“After a decade in the public eye, most women wouldn’t have the guts to wear something like that, but she is so confident. She’s a woman and she celebrates it. Everyone else is trying to be a size zero but not her.”

Again, we agree with that attitude. Just not with the catsuit. Yech! Do you think the costume is sexy or sucky?

Passive aggressiveness, Kim Kardashian is thy name.

In a recent blog entry, the reality star appears to be giving props to another talentless individual within the genre - but it's easy to see the cattiness behind a post titled "Snooki Gets Her Kim On."

Snooki, of course, refers to Nicole Polizzi from MTV's latest bane on society series Jersey Shore. On her website, Kim points out that "Life & Style gave Snooki a Kim Kardashian makeover... they used the Antik Batik dress I wore to [a] party as inspiration."

Kardashian adds that Snooki is her favorite Jersey Shore character and "this deserves a fist pump!!!!!!!"

But who is Kim kidding? We all can see through her supposedly kind words and we all know exactly what Kim actually wants to do with her fist to anyone that copies her style. Ding! Ding!

Considering his history of drugs and a rumored addiction to pornography, it didn't come as a shock to many that Charlie Sheen would be involved in a scuffle with his wife.

But there's one person that didn't see this alleged side of the actor coming: his ex-girlfriend, Heather Hunter.

“He was a gentleman,” the former adult star said in a recent interview. “I think with life, people see the good side and the bad side of certain people. I never saw the [bad side] of him. I guess it was a fortunate thing.”

Hunter met Sheen at a party in 1994 and enjoyed a brief fling with him. She's truly taken aback by his alleged incident with wife Brooke Mueller:

“It’s crazy because Charlie has had domestic problems and was violent, but I didn’t see that crazy side,” adding that The Two and a Half Men star is “really nice, concerned and compassionate.”

Hunter's advice for Mueller, and any womean going through this sort of situation?

“If someone hits you or hurts you in some way... they’ll do it again.”

We're glad Rihanna has come to that realization finally. We hope everyone else out there does, too.

Despite these bold words and many other Jersey Shore quotes to that effect, the overly-tanned and coiffed reality star known as Snooki agreed to take it all off.

Take off her makeup, that is. Not her clothes or anything. Phew ...

Snooki admits she usually takes about three hours to get ready to go out to a club, and she even gets lathered up before she goes to work out at the gym.

The Princess of Poughkeepsie says she first started wearing makeup in 8th grade. "And that’s when I got my first boyfriend, so I was like,'makeup works!'"

Her favorite brands?

"If I go to a club and I start dancing, it’ll drip down my face, but Avon stays! Some brands don’t stay on that long. I love eyeliner and lip gloss from mark.”

Sounds like she could replace The Hills alumna Lauren Conrad as spokesmodel for the mark cosmetics brand. “I know,” she laughs. “Kick LC out of there!”

To this description of Kardashian, we can only shake our heads and wonder: Really?!? Does it simply take the donning of tight tops and unusual outfits to be considered a fashion guru?

Leggings? That was so October.

While Lindsay Lohan’s troubles as artistic advisor at Ungaro were well documented, the "actress" is not letting that slow down her pursuit of fashion glory.

Production of her own signature 6126 leggings line is going strong, and yesterday the troubled star took to Twitter to reveal her forthcoming style project.

The fashion disaster is expanding the collection beyond hosiery. She wrote:

“I need MORE followers i am so sad about this, how can i tell everyone about my 6126 full collection COMING OUT! all clothing.” Whatever that means.

Lindsay Lohan: A style trend-setter if ever there were one.

Women's Wear Daily says her expanded collection will launch for fall 2010 and feature 100 useless pieces that range from $18 leggings to a $300 jacket.

The following spring the Lindsay Lohan line will grow even further, to encompass 150 terrible items, including handbags, shoes, jewelry and cosmetics.

The irony?

More people have probably seen Lindsay Lohan nude than have purchased items from her clothing line. Perhaps she should look into selling that for money.

Ed Hardy t-shirts, diamond earrings and too much hair products have become the signature look of Jon Gosselin the hit MTV reality show Jersey Shore.

In 2009, we scoffed at Taylor Momsen's resemblance to a raccoon.

We mocked Miley Cyrus for... everything she did.

We bowed in awe at the talents and success of Taylor Swift.

But while this trio of young beauties may seem as different as the seasons, they all followed one fashion trend in 2009: the donning of lace tights.

Don't get us wrong. It's nice when stars are comfortable in their own skin and don't feel the need to slather on the makeup like Snooki from Jersey Shore.

Jessica Simpson, for example, looked a little rumpled and worse for the wear yesterday as she made her way to see her sister's Broadway show Chicago.

With messy hair, zero makeup and wearing a plaid jacket-thing of some kind, the alleged singer and actress certainly left an impression on passersby.

WWD: How does New York differ from L.A. in terms of fashion?

Whitney Port: I think New York fashion is a lot more sophisticated, more forward-thinking. People are more willing to take chances here. People take more pride in clothing they wear and obviously they have to dress for the elements.

WWD: Do you ever see yourself venturing into accessories?

Whitney Port: I would it but I don't know how talented I'd be.

WWD: You're at People's Revolution five days a week, as we see on The City. How do you have time to work on your own fashion line?

Whitney Port: Actually, I'm in and out of there. I have a design space in there and then I also have my apartment. Kelly [Cutrone] told me, 'This is your passion project, so you do whatever you have to do to get this done'. This is my first priority.

WWD: Other Hills veterans haven't had as much fashion success as they'd hoped. Heidi Montag's line closed quickly after and Lauren Conrad decided to bring hers to Kohl's after not weathering well in the high-end market. Does that concern you?

Whitney Port: I put myself in a different sort of realm as them. Obviously, it's scary. I think it's really hard to break out right now since the fashion industry is struggling. I mean, people don't want to spend their money on clothes right now.

You're always worried about people not understanding your point of view, not being able to get it. But I think my biggest competition is myself.
