When it came to the major Academy Awards, Avatar was shut out last night.

But the movie didn't go home as a total loser: Zoe Saldana earned The Hollywood Gossip's annual Worst Dressed (dis)honor for the frock she donned below.

Hideous from the front and the back, Saldana is lucky she has a pretty face, considerable talent and the highest-grossing film in history on her acting resume. Because she'll never make it as a fashion connoisseur.

With apologies to Charlie Theron's regrettable dress, this was the ugliest of the ugly on the red carpet...

Our previous Oscar night style showdown pitted Meryl Streep and Charlize Theron against each other. This face-off might be a more difficult choice for fans.

Needless to say, Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet are both stunning blondes, and needless to say, both looked stunning in silver last night, albeit differently.

Cameron's dress sparkled, literally, while Kate's epitomized traditional class.

Jeff Bridges was among the Academy Award winners last night at Hollywood's marquee event, taking home Best Actor honors for his role in Crazy Heart.

Ben Stiller did not. But he did receive some laughs (either with him or at him) when he took to the stage dressed as one of the blue dudes from Avatar.

The James Cameron film did not win Best Picture, but it did win Best Costume By a Presenter ... in our opinion. No one can accuse Ben of half-assing it!

Their first names begin with the same letter, they share the same DNA and they collaborated on the same clothing line.

Now, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian are adding another similarity to their resume: they've been spotted out in the same dress from their Bebe-sponsored collection.

In separate public events, both sisters bared a shoulder and posed for the camera in the single-strapped black ensemble below. Kim accessorized with a dangling necklace, Kourtney showed off her neck.

Whose look do you prefer?

Jersey Shore star J-Woww (Jenni Farley) was known for her risque fashion selections on the first season of MTV's breakout hit show. To her chagrin.

She wishes she could have a few fashion do-overs when it comes to her style. Asked to pick her biggest fashion regret, she couldn't even pick one.

"Oh! Everything on the show," J-Woww told MTV News. "I was really sick during the shooting of it. I ended up going to the doctors and the hospital."

"So, like, everything!"

J-Woww should start packing up all hers, since the Jersey Shore cast is hitting the road for and getting ready to take South Beach in Season 2.

"[Expect] more hookups," J-Woww said. "More drama - a lot more. I don't know [what the drama will be about]. We haven't really changed, but we have."

Earlier this week, Elizabeth Hurley attended a charity function as part of London Fashion Week. The event was titled "The Love Ball" and benefited The Naked Heart Foundation.

Speaking about her Let's Move childhood obesity initiative at Fairhill Elementary School in Philadelphia, Michelle wore one of her traditional ensembles Friday.

But the next day, previewing the Governor's Ball performances, she changed things up with a sexier Jason Wu dress, a crisscross top and sleeker, sassier bob.

For most women, this outfit would seem rather outrageous. But Lady Gaga being Lady Gaga, a peach-colored lingerie-corset thing is pretty standard fare.

She pulls it off, too, although it is unclear at this time what love advice only Gaga would give, or what THE SEX ARTICLE WE CAN’T DESCRIBE HERE entails.

Something about how Lady Gaga is a hermaphrodite, perhaps? Hard to say.

On the surface, Taylor Swift and Carmen Electra have nothing in mind. Then again, on the surface, Tiger Woods didn't seem like the type of guy that would need to read a prepared statement that apologized for his countless transgressions with the opposite sex.

In a recently-released promo for new episodes of 90210, AnnaLynne McCord's character of Naomi drops her trenchcoat and stands naked before her boyfriend. It's hot stuff.

We wish the actress had gone with the same look at this week's Shutter Island premiere, as she donned an unusual leather outfit instead.

Can't say we're big fans of the fashion statement made below. But whatever McCord is doing, it must be working: she continues to be involved with Twilight Saga star Kellan Lutz. He must not mind the feel of leather... or of the nude body referenced above.

Already well known for outrageous hairstyles and fashion, Lady Gaga may have outdone even herself this time, debuting a hair phone in her "Telephone" music video.

By hair phone, we mean that literally!

In stills from her latest performance art piece, with which she collaborated with Beyonce, Gaga is seen with a phone stuck to the side of her head. Somehow it works.

She's really weird. She's also really talented. When you're a rumored hermaphrodite who dresses like Marie Antoinette on HGH, what's a little phone made of hair?

It's not the first time Gaga and Beyonce have combined their talents. The music superstars originally teamed up for a remix of Beyonce's hit "Video Phone."

Britney Spears is featured as the model for Candie's spring 2010 ads, with famed photographers Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson doing the honors.

The campaign's name: "Britney Spears Through the Lens." Deep.

"Annie, Mark and Terry are three of the biggest photographers in the world and I am honored to be working with them for my Candie’s ads," Spears said in a statement.

"It was an amazing shoot, and I know my fans are going to love the cool images." We're sure they are too, as they eat, drink and breathe all things Britney.

The photo shoot, which took place at Paramount studios in Hollywood late last year, had three different themes for each photographer featuring Spears.

Leibovitz's photos feature Spears against an industrial backdrop, while Richardson photographed the superstar on a plain white set with colorful props.

Seliger created elaborate sets, such as a French burlesque-inspired pink dressing room and a field with a custom-designed pink Harley-Davidson bike.

"This is the most exciting shoot we have ever produced for Candie's," Dari Marder, the chief marketing officer of Iconix, said today. We don't doubt it.

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane now has something in common with Levi Johnston: both have been bitch slapped by the Palins.

On Sunday night, Fox aired an episode of this popular sitcom that featured a girl with Down Syndrome, who said at one point: "My mom’s the former governor of Alaska."

For a series known for crude and offensive humor, not much was actually made about the girl's state.

Stewie uttered the occasional rude line, but Stewie always utters the occasional rude line. It almost seemed as though MacFarlane inserted the Palin reference in there just to court controversy - and, of course, the self-absorbed "politician" snatched the bait.

Palin took to Facebook and said the joke was a “kick in the gut” because she it “mocked” her son, Trig, who has Down Syndrome. She then turned it over to her daughter because it's always healthy for an 18-year old to be in the center of a scandal.

Bristol wrote:

When you’re the son or daughter of a public figure, you have to develop thick skin. My siblings and I all have that, but insults directed at our youngest brother hurt too much for us to remain silent. People with special needs face challenges that many of us will never confront, and yet they are some of the kindest and most loving people you’ll ever meet.

Their lives are difficult enough as it is, so why would anyone want to make their lives more difficult by mocking them? As a culture, shouldn’t we be more compassionate to innocent people – especially those who are less fortunate? Shouldn’t we be willing to say that some things just are not funny?

Are there any limits to what some people will do or say in regards to my little brother or others in the special needs community? If the writers of a particularly pathetic cartoon show thought they were being clever in mocking my brother and my family yesterday, they failed.

All they proved is that they’re heartless jerks.

THG's reaction to this mess:

• There's absolutely no way Bristol Palin wrote that;
• It's wrong to make fun of someone with Down Syndrome;
• The show is an equal opportunity offender. Family Guy quotes take swipes at every race, religion and disability. Do they sometimes cross the line? Yes. We were appalled that the sitcom made multiples jokes about rape two weeks ago. But it's been on the air for eight seasons and there's clearly a market for its niche.
• If Palin were truly interested in anything but getting her name in the newspaper, she'd ignore this type of baiting. Her desperate need for PR is the only reason Levi Johnston is still around. If she'd ignored his taunts months ago, the world would have forgotten about him by now.
• No respectable political figure issues statements from her Facebook account.
• Examples such as this prove why Palin is closer to Tila Tequila than Hilary Clinton.

Finally proving to the world that she's more than a willing sex tape participant and arm candy for Reggie Bush, Kim Kardashian walked the catwalk today during New York Fashion Week.

The socialite showed off the clothing line she and her sisters have teamed up with Bebe to create - and those in attendance, such as Jenni "JWoWW" Farley, Adrienne Bailon and members of The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast - were impressed.

"I thought it was absolutely amazing," Bailon, a family friend, told E! News. "I'm so proud of Kim. I think that they've done an amazing job, all the girls, and I love the fact that the clothing actually looks like what the girls would wear."

Also excited by what he saw? Fashion photographer and America's Next Top Model star Jay Manuel. He said:

"It's what I expected: something that women want to wear, sexy with an air of sophistication. I saw a little day, a little night. Sometimes I did see a little Khloé versus Kim, but what I saw was the different moods of the Kardashians."

We can't even think of anything snarky to say. Sure, we'd rather see Kim in nothing, but this hoodie/dress is actually sort of cool. Would you wear it?

Haiti relief efforts will not cease ... nor should they.

Naomi Campbell was the latest to pitch in, throwing a Fashion for Relief runway show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Among the attendees? Chris Brown.

So many violent thoughts together in one place. At least it was for a good cause this time. Earthquake relief tops thrown phones and pummeled ex-girlfriends.

Helena Christensen, Selita Ebanks, Agyness Deyn, Kelly Osbourne, Malin Ackerman and others did their thing on the catwalk, sure. But Chris Brown in a tux?

That really got the audience going.

Chris Brown, Naomi Campbell and others united for Haiti.

"[Events like this] are definitely important, not necessarily for me," Brown told E! News. "It's important for Haiti because you get a chance to see artists and entertainers and fashion icons come together to do something nice for a good cause."

"It's very humbling being able to come and help, it's nice to see."

Nothing you can say negatively about that classy attitude, or the collaborations by so many celebrities to help this case, such as the We Are the World remake.

Rachel Zoe pulled together the 92 looks for the fashion show, including the moving finale tribute to Alexander McQueen that had the models holding back tears.

On opening night of New York Fashion Week, Kim Kardashian proved she can strike a pose that does not include bending over for Ray J on video.

The reality TV star strutted down the the runway at The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Show yesterday. In one of the photos below, she blows a kiss to Reggie Bush, who was kind enough to sit in the front row on his girlfriend's big night:

Numerous other celebrities also attended the charity event. Among them?

An American Idol champion, a super model, a talk show host, someone with no pants on and a singer that stuck pearls to her face. You'll never guess to whom we're referring with that final description.

We never thought we'd see the day, but of all the Snooki pictures we've seen, this is one we can actually say does not make her look trashy or ridiculous!

Rather, she just looks pulled together and maybe - maybe! - even attractive. We don't want to push our luck, but the proof is in the Jersey Shore pudding.

Us Weekly celebrity fashion director Sasha Charnin Morrison and Inside Edition recently paired up to dress Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi down, and they succeeded.

The final result: a glam, pulled together pony tail, low-key makeup and a tasteful shift dress. She didn't really take well to it, but we think that's a plus.

"I feel like my grandmother!" whines Snooki, half-seriously. "I wouldn't be caught dead in this outfit. If I had to go to court, I'd wear this. That's about it."

Snooki cleans up nice. Who knew?

No doubt Emilio Antonio prefers Snooks in her traditional attire - absurd hair poof, far too revealing dress, no underwear - but he'll have to settle for classy this once.

She's a global icon that has starred in a hit movie and TV show, while releasing platinum albums and posing for a number of magazine photo shoots.

In other words: Miley Cyrus is quite well-off. You'd think she'd be able to afford a pair of non-ripped jeans.

But for whatever reason, the singer strolled through Los Angeles over the weekend in an outfit that a homeless person might wear. A homeless person that had been on the street for a very long time, that is.

Seriously. These pants have been ripped more often than Miley on this website...

We guess this look is somehow "in" these days, as weird fashion is often interpreted as forward-thinking and creative. We say: it's just weird.

Beyonce: 100 percent my pick for best dressed of the night. This Stephane Rolland dress is so gorgeous and her eye makeup works perfectly with the Egyptian feel. I also love the side part in her hair and the subtle glitter highlights. She always looks flawless and I love that she flaunts her curves!

Miley: Miley's Herve Leger dress was totally cute and age-appropriate. Some teens try to take themselves too seriously, and I love that Miley just has fun with her fashion and always stays true to her individual style.

The biggest Glee-related news coming out of the 2010 Grammy Awards is that Cory Monteith might be dating Taylor Swift.

But Lea Michele won't let her co-star steal all the headlines: she's challenged Miley Cyrus to a red carpet fashion face-off, and it's totally on below!

At the event, Michele told reporters she had an "insane wardrobe" problem because she picked out a white dress "and you could see through the entire thing," prompting a last-minute change.

It's too bad she didn't don that frock to the ceremony. It would have guaranteed her a victory over Cyrus, who chose a Max Azria dress because she "wanted to be edgy."

We won't ask you to compare the talent levels between the singer because Michele would win in a landslide. But contrast Lea and Miley's looks and vote in our poll...

Amazingly, Lady Gaga may have been upstaged in the outrageous fashion department last night. Pink's Grammy outfit was the hands down winner in that respect.

Still, this is Lady Gaga we're talking about. She made quite an entrance, collaborating with Giorgio Armani on a series of exclusive looks for music's big night.

Last night's Grammy Awards featured the best in music. And fashion ...in theory. Both Katy Perry and Britney Spears may appear on the worst-dressed list.

Should they be, though? Katy's flesh-tone dress certainly showcased her voluptuous figure, with none of the cleavage which we've grown accustomed to.

Who looked better at the Grammy Awards?

She started out in a white robe and ended up in nearly nothing at all.

Indeed, while the Grammy Awards were dominated by Beyonce, Taylor Swift and a moving tribute to Michael Jackson, Pink also made quite an impression on viewers.

The singer performed a version of "Glitter in the Air" by making like a scantily clad acrobat. Spinning in the air, Pink donned nothing but white straps over a flesh-colored body suit, along with a few strategically placed sequins.

Even with Lady GaGa in attendance, this was the fashion statement of the night:

Nominated for best rap collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West, Rihanna paired her usual fiery hair with an Elie Saab Haute Couture gown, Neil Lane diamond earrings, bracelet and rings mixed with two Diamond in the Rough rings.

Britney Spears is donating an old dress to Haiti relief efforts.

While that doesn't sound impressive, it might when you consider that it's the shimmery silver Versace dress she wore to the MTV Video Music Awards in 2008.

It's being auctioned off, with proceeds to be donated to a charity whose name is not yet known. We missed her at the Hope For Haiti telethon, but go Britney!

Britney, who loves her body in that (or any) dress, not the only star who’s opening her up her wallet - or closet - to benefit the earthquake-stricken country.

Kate Bosworth, for one, is putting a dress up for grabs at auction to benefit OxFam International’s Haiti Relief Program through Charitybuzz.

Susan Sarandon is getting in on the auction action by donating the size-6 Dolce & Gabanna LBD she wore to the 15th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

Artists for Peace and Justice are helping Meryl Streep, Josh Brolin, Gerard Butler, Amy Poehler, and Olivia Wilde donate their Golden Globe Awards fashion.

Lady Gaga, meanwhile, may be holding onto her outrageous costumes, but she's selling personalized Lady Gaga Haiti Relief T-shirts on her official website.

To spread the news, the new music icon Tweeted, “Buy Gaga merch today. 100% of profit goes to earthquake relief. Little Monsters save the world today!”

What began as a quirky movement against PETA has transitioned into something truly horrible: a run on fashion so abysmal that it's giving Lady GaGa a run for her outlandish money.

Yesterday, Kanye West's girlfriend was spotted in some sort of skinsuit that can only be described as... some sort of skinsuit.

Today, as her and her man continue to tour Paris Fashion Week, Rose donned an outfit that - to quote Kanye - was anything but the best of all-time. Take a look:

Take a backseat, all other fashion trainwrecks of 2010. Amber Rose has set the bar so low that no ridiculous outfit will ever top it. Or bottom it, we guess we should say.

The short-haired girlfriend of Kanye West accompanied her man to Paris for that city's Fashion Week over the past few days, and each dress she donned was more outlandish than the previous one.

Unlike the fur coats worn by this duo last Thursday, at least no animals were harmed in the making of the attire below. But that's the only positive thing we can say about it...
