Madonna can’t seem to steal that baby from Africa.

Madonna is still appealing, but her appeal just got a whole heck of a lot more difficult. The Malawi kid that Madonna want’s have care takers raise in America apparently has a father. Who woulda thought??? here is more from People.

“I want to take care of her, and I’m capable of taking care of my baby,” James Kambewa told CBS’s The Early Show in an interview to air Monday, the same day the court will hear Madonna’s appeal of the rejected adoption.
“Mercy, she is a Malawian, so [I] need her to grow as a Malawian … with our culture,” he said.
The hearing in Madonna’s appeal case will be led by the head of the judiciary in Malawi. The southern African country’s High Court had previously rejected her application to adopt Mercy Chifundo James.
In his interview, Kambewa tells The Early Show that he’s never met his daughter and has only seen her “in newspapers and TV, not face to face.”

But America rules. That’s what this African man fails to realize. Rest assured, Madonna will let him know as the process continues. Madonna, I think it might be time to throw in the towel on this one. Or throw another African kegger and try to garner support that way. Hey, always works for me. You can have my dog if you want him; I take trade in beet.

Madonna still fighting to adopt African kid.

Madonna can’t stop herself from trying to adopt that Malawian kid, even though she’s been declined by the country. And even though she threw a kegger for the countries socialites. Looks like she intends to carry on. Good luck Madonna, I guess.

“I want to provide Mercy with a home, a loving family environment and the best education and healthcare possible,” she e-mailed Malawi’s Nation newspaper in response to its questions. “And it’s my hope that she, like David, will one day return to Malawi and help the people of their country.”
Madonna, 50, continued: “Though I have been advised that I cannot publicly discuss the pending appeal regarding my desire to adopt Mercy, I do want to say how much I appreciate the level of support that I have received from the people of Malawi and my friends around the world.”

Madonna parties to prove she is good to go for adoption.

Madonna was denied allowing to adopt an African kid because she hadn’t been a resident of Malawi. Oh, and because her lifestyle is kind of like a rockstars. So what’s the solution? Build your character back up by throwing a big African bash. According to TMZ.

Government officials and staff members of Raising Malawi charity are on the guest list for the event, along with traditional dancers. No word if the judge who denied Madge will attend.
Madonna’s lawyer said she will appeal Friday’s judgment that she could not adopt a 3-year-old girl because she had not been a resident in Malawi.
This massive party looks like the start of her appeal, at least socially.

Nothing speaks being in touch with impoverished nations like a champagne party for its residents. Maybe she should setup a valet for the mules. I think Madonna seems very confused in her post-hot, post-talented stage in life. This all just seems to be a bit much, if you ask me.

Madonna still trying to adopt.

Madonna is still trying to adopt a new rugrat, despite the fallout from the Alex Rodriguez debacle. From the AP.

Madonna said Tuesday that she was following standard procedures in her adoption of a Malawian girl, her first response to accusations that that she is using her fame to speed the process.
The pop superstar also took her 3-year-old adopted son, David, to visit the orphanage in Mchinji, a village near the Zambian border, where he once lived. She brought him Monday to meet his biological father for the first time since he left Malawi in 2006.

Why would anyone think Madonna would use the leverage of her fame to speed up the adoption process? Oh wait, because SHE HAS! That’s why….get outta here…

Madonna’s link to A-Rod, declined adoption.

Madonna has been denied adoption rights of three year old Mercy, from Malawi. This has happened because of her ties to that Brazilian model and to Alex Rodriguez, as they appear to be flings and look like instability in her lifestyle. Here’s more from NY Daily News.

“The news she is linked to another woman’s husband and a young man less than half her age makes us question her morals.”
Officials are unhappy the 50-year-old Material Mom, who adopted toddler David Banda in Malawi in 2006, flaunted her relationship with Luz in a recent racy W Magazine spread.
Simon Chisale, Malawi’s child welfare chief, said morality plays a big part in the adoption process.
“We do not only look at the material issues, but also the moral standing of prospective adoptive parents, because we do not want our children’s morals to be corrupted,” Chisale said.

Aside from Madonna, take a look at how crappy A-Rods life has become! I mean, I know dude has cash, but come on….first he got a divorce, then steroids, then a prostitute claims his infidelity….and now, he just screwed some poor african kid out of a happy, healthy life. What’s next? Blowing the World Series in NYC? That’d be by far, the worst crime.
