Adnan Ghalib Resurfaces … in Court

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

Remember Adnan?

While Tiger Woods resurfaced in public for the first time in nearly three months yesterday, Britney Spears' ex-beau did the same, albeit with less fanfare.

In court.

No, not for the hit-and-run either. For something a little bit more vanilla ... if anything about Adnan Ghalib could be considered vanilla. He is a shady individual.

Adnan Ghalib Mug Shot

Nice landing strip, Adnan.

It appears Britney Spears isn't the only California resident that the photographer has stiffed ... if you know what we mean! Dude owes thousands in back taxes!

In the last few years, Adnan Ghalib apparently d!cked over the entire population by not paying on time. Basically, he's like Octomom. Eh, no, not that bad.

Still, Adnan Ghalib didn't pay $7,565.97, more than $3,000 of which is late fees.

The moral of the story? Pay up. And don't date shady celebrity gossip photogs.

Adnan Ghalib: Jailed!

Saturday, November 21st, 2009

Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, was sentenced today to 45 days in county jail after he pleaded no contest to leaving the scene of an accident.

During said accident, he hit a process server with his car and took off. The victim was attempting to subpoena Adnan in a Spears restraining order case.

He was told to stay away from Britney until 2012, incidentally. In the hit and run case, at least Adnan Ghalib gets credit for one day already served. Woo!

Ghalib will be placed on formal probation for 36 months, has to complete 52 weeks of anger management classes and 45 days of Caltrans (hard labor).

What a Tool

Adnan Ghalib is finally headed where he belongs.

The celebrity gossip photographer was initially charged with three felonies after the incident: assault with a deadly weapon, battery and hit-and-run.

As part of his plea deal, the first two were dropped.

He still faces outstanding warrants for enabling Britney Spears during her dark period and for dressing like an enormous douche. Just kidding. Kind of.

About the second part. Dude was totally an enabler.

Adnan Ghalib to Stand Trial For Ramming Dude with Car

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

One of the shadiest of Britney Spears' many former boyfriends will stand trial on felony assault with a deadly weapon, battery and hit-and-run charges.

A judge decided there is indeed enough evidence to prosecute Adnan at a preliminary hearing yesterday, so off to trial the case will go. Sucks to be him.

The alleged victim - oddly named Ram Moskowitz - testified at the hearing about how the seedy celebrity gossip photographer struck him with a car.

The incident took place as Ram tried serving Adnan with legal papers in a restraining order case with Britney Spears (he must stay away for three years).

Adnan Ghalib did not testify at the hearing yesterday.

He will be arraigned on July 23. If convicted on all charges, he faces up to seven years in prison. Maybe he and Sam Lutfi can share a cell at some point.

Sam Lutfi Says Britney Spears Ruined His Life; Plans to Call Adnan Ghalib as “Character” Witness

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

By cutting him off, that is.

Sam Lutfi has filed legal papers in his defamation lawsuit against Britney Spears and her parents, Jamie and Lynn, claiming they have ruined "his life."

Lynne Spears' book, Through The Storm, about her famous daughter is a pack of lies, Sam Lutfi says, especially the part in which she says Sam told Lynne he was secretly grinding up pills and putting them in Britney Spears' food in 2007.

As a result of the book, "I am constantly in fear for my life," Sam Lutfi says in his lawsuit, not embellishing at all. Does anyone care about him in the least?

He says he was "harassed and cajoled by the public." Does that mean us? If so, sorry Sam. We wouldn't harass you if you weren't sponging off our girl.

Also, wasn't Sam "cajoled" long before Lynne's book was published? Whatever.

Evil Lurks Behind Her

THE LEECH: Sam Lutfi lurks behind Britney in this file photo from early 2008, around the time two breakdowns landed her in the hospital. [Photos: Fame Pictures]

Lutfi trotted out his own cast of character witnesses in the new legal docs - notably the infamous Adnan Ghalib - currently being prosecuted for felony battery.

Adnan wrote a declaration, claiming that Lynne Spears' assertions that Sam was effectively holding Britney Spears hostage during her dark times were false.

Call us crazy, and we are by no means legal experts, but if Adnan Ghalib is on your character witness list, you might as well throw in the towel now.

Britney Spears’ Lawyers Still After Sam Lutfi

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Sam Lutfi is learning a hard lesson:

You do not f*%k with the conservatorship!

The former enabler and quote-unquote manager of Britney Spears has been battling her legal team since being banished from her life – and losing, hard.

First, he was slapped with a three-year restraining order last month. Now, his wallet may be taking a hit next as Britney's attorneys go for the jugular.

Lawyers for the singer asked a Los Angeles court Friday to order Sam Lutfi to pay $123,142 to cover her legal fees for the restraining order battle.

Britney and Sam Lutfi Pic

WHAT A LEECH: Sam Lutfi stayed close to his meal ticket before her father and his team of high-powered attorneys made sure he legally couldn't any longer.

In addition, her lawyers are seeking $129,922 from Jon Eardley, an attorney who has challenged Jamie Spears' control over his daughter. Eardley claimed Britney contacted him first, which Lutfi also maintained in his restraining order case.

The attorneys want another $72,292 from her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, too. Both Eardley and Ghalib were also ordered to stay away from the pop star.

A judge has yet to sign off on the request, but we suspect it will happen soon.

You do not mess with the Bank of Britney Spears and its team of lawyers.

Adnan Ghalib, Sam Lutfi Face Further Legal Woes

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

While Britney Spears is busy getting accosted by drunk fans on her Circus tour, a couple of her former clowns are starring in their own shows in L.A.

Spears' ex-manager Sam Lutfi and former boyfriend Adnan Ghalib appeared in separate hearings yesterday. Both shady hangers-on have already been banned from further contact with their former meal ticket through at least 2012.

Now the courts are sorting through the legal fallout.

Sam Lutfi fared considerably better than Adnan Ghalib, as a Superior Court judge set a trial date of March 8, 2010, for the former manager's lawsuit claiming defamation and unpaid fees against Spears and her parents, Jamie and Lynne.

Lawyers for both Lutfi and Jamie and Lynne Spears say they will spend the next 10 months attempting to resolve the case outside of court.

Britney Spears, Adnan Ghalib, Sam Lutfi

But in case that doesn't work out, they have a game plan. An attorney for Jamie Spears said that a countersuit may be filed against Lutfi.

Lynne Spears' attorney, meanwhile, said that he will likely seek to dismiss the portion of Sam Lutfi's lawsuit that's directed against her.

The grounds for that claim? That his allegation of defamation based on her new memoir, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, is actually an infringement on Lynne Spears' right to free speech.

Particularly, her right to freely criticize whomever she chooses, especially when they play as large a part as Lutfi appeared to in the downfall of her daughter.

The trial date comes just days after Lutfi filed an appeal against a judge's extension of the restraining order obtained against him by the Spears family.

Adnan Ghalib did not appeal his stay-away order - of course, he has more pressing matters to deal with. The former celebrity gossip photographer appeared at a preliminary hearing for his literal run-in with a process server.

He walked away with two more restraining orders against him.

The D.A. was granted restraining orders on behalf of process server Ram Maskowitz, whom Ghalib allegedly ran over with his car to avoid being served with the Spears restraining order, and, for reasons unknown, a person named Edam Yemini.

Before the proceedings, Adnan Ghalib attorney Peter Korn unsuccessfully attempted to have media removed from the courtroom.

"There's some safety issues for my client," he told Judge Leslie Dunn, who denied his request and set a hearing date for May 18.

By that time, the district attorney is expected to turn over 43 surveillance photos to be used as evidence in the case. The date also gives Korn more time to track down potential witnesses to the incident he claims never occurred.

"Nowhere in the shots do they observe my client running over Mr. Maskowitz," he said.

In February, Ghalib pleaded not guilty to three felony charges stemming from the incident: assault with a deadly weapon, hit and run and battery.

Last month, Ram Maskowitz filed a civil suit against Ghalib, saying he suffered cuts, abrasions and a fractured wrist in the incident.

He's seeking unspecified damages for assault, battery, negligence and both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Report: Britney Spears Conspired with Sam Lutfi, Lawyers to End Conservatorship’s Reign

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

A Los Angeles courtroom heard testimony yesterday on whether or not to extend the restraining orders barring her former manager and sidekick Sam Lutfi and other past hangers-on from having contacts with troubled star Britney Spears.

Attorney John Anderson took the stand and told Superior Court Commissioner Aviva K. Bobb that he was asked to represent the pop star in a battle to free her from the conservatorship controlled by her father, Jamie Spears.

"A person who purported to be Sam Lutfi told me that all of Britney Spears' phone rights were cut off," he said, adding that he was also told that the mother of two was under tight control by her father and virtually "in prison."

John Anderson - who may or may not be the recipient of the leaked voicemail circulating this week - testified that he drew up papers to be retained as counsel and in turn received copies back allegedly signed by Britney Spears herself.

He said he was made aware that another court-appointed attorney had already been assigned to Spears, but was told the singer was "not confident" in the other lawyer's abilities and wanted to hire a new representative in the courtroom.

Caged

CAGED BRITNEY: Does an imprisoned Britney Spears want to overthrow her dad's reign - and should she be able to, or is it the only thing keeping her life on track?

Anderson did contact the attorneys representing Spears' conservatorship, who dissuaded him from attempting to further pursue working for the star.

Instead, he voluntarily ended his involvement in the Spears legal debacle on January 28, after learning Jamie Spears and the conservatorship were getting restraining orders against Lutfi, former Britney beau Adnan Ghalib and Jon Eardley.

The restraining orders were obtained January 30, after Jamie Spears said in court that he had evidence the trio was trying to deliberately undermine the conservatorship, and he labeled ostensible mastermind Lutfi a "predator."

But yesterday, Sam Lutfi's sister, Christina, testified that she answered her brother's phone one time when Britney was calling to ask Sam to find her a new lawyer.

Britney said "they" wouldn't let her talk on the phone, Christina Lutfi says, admitting that she was the one who slipped her a prepaid phone on behalf of her brother and Ghalib at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills January 16.

The ladies arranged to meet in the sauna after Britney Spears was done working out with her mom, Christina Lutfi said.

And, Ms. Lutfi said, she - and not her brother Sam, as the singer's camp has alleged repeatedly in its keep-away court petition - was the one who called Britney Spears "numerous times to make sure she was OK."

For his part, Sam Lutfi has sued Britney Spears for unpaid management fees, and filed a separate suit against her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears for slander as well as a host of other grievances. Both suits are pending.

Last month, Bobb extended the restraining order against Adnan Ghalib to three years after the shady celebrity gossip photographer - who is facing unrelated felony charges - failed to show up at any of three previous hearings.

Will the court do likewise for Sam Lutfi and Jon Eardley?

Jon Eardley's attorney, Roger Diamond, says he is surprised that his client's motion to dismiss the restraining order was denied by the judge:

"I was virtually certain that the judge would grant the motion since there no basis to the statute that they are using to prosecute Mr. Eardley," Diamond said.

As to why the order against Lutfi should be tossed, attorney Bryan Freedman said, "I do not believe that [the conservatorship has] shown substantial emotional distress."

Closing statements are scheduled to take place April 21.

Adnan Ghalib Barred From Seeing Britney Spears For Three Years; Sam Lutfi to Stay Away Until April 1

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

A restraining order against Britney Spears ex-boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, was made permanent for three years, a judge ruled at a Wednesday hearing.

At the same time, the temporary restraining against her former manager and possibly the shadiest person ever, Sam Lutfi, was extended until April 1.

Britney's father, Jamie Spears, who is the conservator of her estate, and their various attorneys have been seeking a permanent restraining order against Lutfi and Ghalib, alleging that they have tried to interfere with the conservatorship.

The singer's father has been in control over her personal, medical and financial affairs, as mandated by the court, since Britney's meltdowns of early 2008, and is largely credited with the resuscitation of her declining career and life in general.

BAD SEEDS: Britney Spears and her former enablers.

The hearing this afternoon was held so the judge could determine whether to uphold the  restraining order, filed by Britney's father, against Sam and Adnan.

Jamie Spears told the court that Britney made secret calls to Adnan in February on a pre-paid cellphone she somehow obtained - and was far from pleased.

Adnan's restraining order now extends three years, end of discussion. On April 1, the judge will hear from witnesses in the ongoing case against Sam Lutfi.

Celebrity gossip photographer Adnan, who was dating Britney Spears for a few months at the end of 2007 and the beginning of 2008, was a no show at today's hearing, so a judge green lighted the permanent injunction against him.

We'll see if he abides by it.

Adnan Ghalib Turns Himself In, Pleads Not Guilty

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Less than 24 hours after a warrant for his arrest was issued, Adnan Ghalib has turned himself. Charged with three felonies, he went to court and pled not guilty.

Ghalib allegedly struck a process server - who was attempting to hand him a subpoena to appear in the Britney Spears restraining order case - with his Mercedes.

The L.A. County D.A. has charged Ghalib with felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony battery and felony hit and run. He is free after posting $110,000 bail.

Lawyers for Britney Spears went to L.A. Superior Court January 20 to get temporary restraining orders against Ghalib and her former manager, Sam Lutfi.

Jamie Spears, who serves as his daughter's conservator, says Lutfi and Ghalib were sending threatening text messages and trying to take control of Britney.

There was also a prepaid phone one of the two is said to have given her. Papa Jamie went ballistic when he overheard Britney communicating with Adnan.

Earlier this month, the LAPD confirmed that a report was filed on Ghalib alleging he committed assault with a deadly weapon - his Mercedes - February 11.

A source said the court officer attempted to serve Ghalib the restraining order papers, but when spotted, the paparazzo "turned his wheels towards the agent and hit him with his vehicle," causing the officer to fall "on the hood of the car while Adnan was speeding and zig zagging in the alley for 30 to 40 yards."

Adnan Ghalib allegedly fled the scene, the source said, and the officer spent the night in the ER with a fractured wrist and other injuries.

Britney Spears and Ghalib hooked up in late 2007 - around the time she was hospitalized against her own will twice for severe mental health issues.

Meanwhile, Britney's lawyers are currently at L.A. Superior Court arguing whether or not to make the restraining order against Ghalib and Lutfi permanent.

Britney's former security guard testified that Lutfi sent late-night texts to Spears' hairstylist until Britney contacted Lutfi, via the guard, to ask him to stop.

Jamie Spears alleges Sam Lutfi violated the restraining order.

Adnan Ghalib is in trouble, again.

Thursday, February 26th, 2009

Apparently life after Britney Spears is all down hill. Unless you are Justin Timberlake. Or Kevin Federline. Ok, maybe life is actually good after Britney Spears unless you are Adnan Ghalib, the former paparazzi lover of the bad Britney…you know, the one that used to frequent Conoco stations? Not tough to forget. Anyways, seems Adnan has an arrest warrant out for him for assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run, battery, really, all the basic charges. According to People magazine.

According to L.A. prosecutors, the victim was serving a temporary restraining order, obtained by Spears’s father, at Adnan Ghalib’s apartment complex in Encino on Feb. 11 when Ghalib got into his Mercedes and drove it toward the victim.
To avoid being penned against a trash truck, the victim jumped on the hood and hung on as the car swerved, eventually falling off and breaking his wrist, among other injuries, the District Attorney alleges. Ghalib allegedly drove away without stopping.

This sounds like some serious Chuck Norris stuff right here! Wow. Just wow.

Adnan Ghalib Charged with Three Felonies; Warrant Issued

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

Adnan Ghalib, celebrity gossip photographer and now-infamous ex-boyfriend of Britney Spears, has been charged with three felonies for allegedly smashing his car into a process server who tried to subpoena him earlier this month.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The L.A. County District Attorney has charged Adnan Ghalib with assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and hit and run - all three are felony offenses.

Ghalib allegedly hit a man with his car in an alley on February 11. The man was reportedly trying to serve Adnan with legal papers on behalf of Britney Spears - presumably in the case involving her father and his conservatorship.

Earlier this week, Jamie Spears testified that Adnan had been talking to Britney on a pre-paid cellphone in violation of the restraining order against him.

One law enforcement source says Adnan Ghalib allegedly hit the dude, who landed on the hood, then continued driving. The server proceeded to jump onto the hood of Ghalib's Mercedes to avoid being pinned against a trash truck.

Cops and paramedics were called.

The victim apparently broke his wrist and suffered cuts and bruises. Prosecutors are asking for bail of $110,000, and if convicted, Ghalib could get seven years in prison.

He has yet to be taken into custody. Stay tuned ...

Britney Spears Secretly Calls Adnan Ghalib on Pre-Paid Phone; Jamie Spears Goes Ballistic

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

A hearing yesterday afternoon in the Britney Spears restraining order case against Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib revealed some interesting information.

Jamie Spears, father of the singer, took the stand to explain that at some point recently, Britney somehow got her hands on a pre-paid cell phone.

This caused Jamie fits because as her conservator, he has been strictly monitoring the phones she's able to use and the calls she's making.

The family nanny overheard Britney talking to Adnan Ghalib on a pre-paid phone in the wee hours of the morning one day recently, however.

It appears Jamie Spears believes Sam and/or Adnan got her the phone in an attempt to turn her against Jamie and sabotage the conservatorship.

Britney Spears' secret calls to Adnan Ghalib - who has a restraining order against him - have only further enraged papa Jamie Spears. [Photos: Splash News Online]

Jamie was named the conservator of Britney's financial, personal and medical affairs last year after a disastrous stretch that saw her life spiral out of control.

Adnan and Sam played roles in that, to put it mildly.

If Sam Lutfi did have any contact with Britney, as is alleged, he would have violated a court order to stay the hell away from the recovering pop star. He would likely face serious legal consequences if found to be in violation.

Follow the jump for more shocking details from Jamie's testimony ...

In court yesterday, Jamie Spears testified about a series of what he called threatening text messages he received last month from someone with the screen name "citygalin310," who he was later "100 percent" sure was Lutfi.

Lutfi does admit he's passed messages on to her through her hairdresser and others, including Adnan, but says the messages weren't harmful in any way.

Jamie also revealed why his daughter locked herself in a bathroom with son Jayden James Federline, leading to her first hospitalization last year.

"She was told by [Sam Lutfi] she could have her children for another night," Jamie said. But when a bodyguard for ex Kevin Federline arrived to get them, "She didn't want to let her kids go because she thought she could have them another night."

"When [Sam Lutfi] was in so-called control, she'd lost everything - her kids and career," Jamie continued. "I believe he's a predator, I believe he's very dangerous to her ... and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief. We've asked him to go away before, and now he's coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone."

Britney Spears' dad then somberly described his daughter during that night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as "kind of wild" and "just very messed up."

Jamie Spears is trying to make the restraining order against the dynamic duo permanent. Stay tuned. Meanwhile, Adnan is being investigated for allegedly hitting someone with his car - a guy trying to serve him with a subpoena, no less!

LAPD Investigating Adnan Ghalib on Felony Charge

Friday, February 13th, 2009

The police are investigating Adnan Ghalib - celebrity news photographer and one-time boyfriend of Britney Spears, who is under court order to stay away from her - for felony assault with a deadly weapon with a vehicle.

How it all supposedly went down is rather absurd.

Yesterday morning, a process server went to Ghalib's Encino, Calif., apartment to hand him legal papers ordering him to appear in the Britney Spears restraining order case. This must be done in person for him to be obligated to appear.

The process server was waiting for Adnan Ghalib in the alley when Ghalib rolled up and allegedly hit the man with his car.

He says he landed on the hood of Adnan's car.

Adnan Pic

Adnan allegedly fled the scene and the process server called cops at 10:42 a.m. The process server had cuts and scratches, but he refused treatment.

The case is under investigation. Adnan Ghalib is the suspect and the alleged crime is assault with a deadly weapon with a vehicle - a felony.

Adnan had no comment on the matter.

Delusional Adnan Ghalib: I Am Britney Spears’ Boyfriend

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

“Britney has a beautiful soul. We share something really special. The truth about us will come out eventually, but it’s not for me to talk about. I love her ... I still love Britney ... I’m her boyfriend.” - Adnan Ghalib on Britney Spears

According to Heat magazine, the celebrity gossip photographer insists he and the singer, who were inseparable at the beginning of 2008, are still in a relationship ... despite several restraining orders she's filed against him.

Adnan's romance with Britney was curtailed when Britney's dad Jamie became her co-conservator - gaining control of her money and affairs - in February of '08.

Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib Pic

In that same month, Adnan was given his first temporary order requiring him to stay at least 250 yards away from Britney Spears - who was hospitalized at the time at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for observation.

Adnan abided by that until July when the order expired. However, this month Britney gained new restraining orders against Adnan and her shady former manager, Sam Lutfi, which accused them both of trying to "disrupt" the conservatorship.

In conclusion, the quote above is either made up or Adnan is just grasping at straws trying to remain in the celebrity gossip limelight these days.

He had a good run, though. Click to enlarge some classic photos of Britney and her seedy paparazzo pal from back in the good ol' daze ...

Britney Spears’ Father Obtains Restraining Orders Against Adnan Ghalib, Sam Lutfi, Jon Eardley

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

Oh Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi, how we have missed thee at The Hollywood Gossip. Jamie Spears, on the other hand? He'd like to never see them again.

Britney Spears' father has obtained three restraining orders - against her ex-boyfriend, her ex-manager and his attorney, according to court documents.

Jamie Spears and lawyer Andrew Wallet, who oversee Britney's affairs as co-conservators, allege that the three men "are now working in concert to disrupt the conservatorship with utter disregard for Ms. Spears' health and well being."

Spears' father says Britney's cell phone records indicate "numerous telephone conversations" as well as text messages with her ex-manager, Sam Lutfi, and former boyfriend, celebrity news photographer Adnan Ghalib.

Adnan PhotoCreepy

SHADY AND SHADIER: Britney Spears hangers-on Adnan Ghalib, left, and Sam Lutfi.

"[Britney] innocently informs [Adnan Ghalib] of her destinations and he then arranges for paparazzi to meet and film her to his financial benefit," Jamie Spears says in court documents. "[Adnan] is harmful to Ms. Spears and to her recovery."

Her father also alleges that on December 27 and December 28, 2008, Sam Lutfi tried to contact Britney Spears through her hairdresser with the message that Lutfi was "not responsible for the conservatorship" of Jamie Spears.

The conservatorship has been in effect about a year now.

Sam Lutfi allegedly sent a text message to the hairdresser saying, "I've done everything I can to free her from this. Very close to getting her free now."

The restraining orders forbid Sam Lutfi, 34, and Adnan Ghalib, 36, from contacting Spears or coming within 250 yards of her, her property or family.

Jamie Spears also got a restraining order against lawyer Jon Eardley, who was working with Sam Lutfi in challenging the conservatorship proceedings.

A hearing on the matter is set for February 23.

Sam Lutfi was originally slapped with restraining orders by Jamie Spears' lawyers before. But in July, a lawyer for the singer said they were no longer necessary to renew because enough legal protection was in place.

Last October, Britney Spears' father and attorney Andrew Wallet were named permanent conservators by the court, granting them indefinite control over her legal, financial and personal affairs following her two forced hospitalizations in early 2008.

Hopefully these two guys stay the hell away indefinitely. Talk about bad news. Click to enlarge some classic pics of Britney with Sam and Adnan ...

Jamie Spears Refuses to Let Britney See Adnan

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

Britney Spears has been fighting with her father, Jamie Spears, quite often of late. As her conservator, he's got the final say over her financial, legal, medical, professional and personal decisions. So conflict was inevitable.

The sore subject of the hour: Adnan Ghalib!

Britney desperately wants to see her ex-boyfriend, the infamous celebrity gossip photographer, but so far, papa Jamie has steadfastly refused.

Adnan Ghalib has been in touch with Brit for the past couple of months, but they haven't spent any time together - even though Brit has asked to.

She's also been complaining that daddy won't let her go out, especially when she wants to go clubbing. May have to do with her aversion to pants.

Britney also doesn't understand why Jamie Spears won't let her take her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline, out in public during the day.

Mistrial StyleA Jamie Spears Picture

Bottom line - Britney Spears doesn't like her dad as her conservator.

What, if anything, she can do about that is another story. Friday, Britney was complaining about Jamie Spears at a hearing - to the point where the court commissioner called the star into chambers and spoke to her for 45 minutes.

Basically, Britney Spears is acting like a 15-year-old and "has not been very contrite" about the behavior that led to the conservatorship in the first place.

Fortunately, she appreciates what Jamie has done to get her business affairs in order. She just doesn't get that he's doing the same for her personal life.
