Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto: Married!

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

It didn't exactly receive the fanfare of Prince William and Kate Middleton, but another celebrity marriage took place this month.

Sources confirm to Life & Style that Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley walked down the aisle with Pretty Little Liars actress Torrey DeVitto in a small NYC ceremony. The couple has been together since starring in Killer Movie together in 2007.

Sorry, ladies. But our best wishes go out to Wesley and DeVitto. Look how adorable they are together!

We love Wills & Kate for driving away in this

Saturday, April 30th, 2011
[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Staff Writer]

It’s not so much the car that we appreciate (because that’s actually a classic, vintage beauty) it’s the fact that someone (the Queen perhaps? She’s a right old joker you know) attached “L” plates to the car as well as ribbons. Not very Royal behaviour is it?

Sadly no empty beer cans were attached to the back of the car– that really would’ve been the icing on the cake.

Anyway this is what Wills drove Kate away in yesterday, today though couple have already set off on their honeymoon.

They were collected by helicopter outside of Buckingham palace this morning and have been taken to a secret destination.

Best. Royal. Wedding. T-shirt. EVER!

Saturday, April 30th, 2011
[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Laura Perks]

We saw a lot of people wearing some crazy costumes in celebration of the Royal Wedding yesterday.

But we have to say these t-shirts made us laugh the most.

Thousands of people actually turned up to see the wedding procession and the Royal couple outside of Buckingham palace yesterday (some even camped over night) – and many people up and down the country toasted the wedding with street parties as well.

Why not send us your snaps of how you celebrated the big day!

The Royal Wedding cake took five weeks to make – no joke…

[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Laura Perks]

So, this is the eight-tiered bad boy that William and Kate cut into yesterday at their wedding party in Buckingham palace yesterday.

Apparently it took five frickin’ weeks to make and includes up to 900 individually iced flowers – each one symbolising a particular quality such as acorns and oak leaves to represent strength, myrtle for love, ivy for wedded love and marriage, lily of the valley for sweetness and humility, rose for happiness and love and honeysuckle for the bond of love – and the list goes on and on and on…

Sweet we suppose – personally we would’ve made to with a couple of black forest gateauxs but each to their own…

Actually it’s a joint prize – to both Princesses Eugeine and Beatrice. Well done them for making just about every person in the nation say simultaneously: “what the flying f*** is that on their heads?”

Kudos ladies, kudos.

It’s the kiss(es) everyone is talking about…

Saturday, April 30th, 2011
[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Laura Perks]

Be honest – when Wills & Kate first kissed an involuntary squeal emerged from your mouth didn’t it?

Okay, well it did from ours. Needless to say the badly tempered little bridesmaid standing in front of them distracted our attention from the Royal couple’s first post-wedding kiss somewhat so we were glad when the two decided to pucker up for a second slightly stiff-looking smakeroo.

Still, we can’t blame them for being slightly stiff in front of the crowds – apparently over two billion people tuned in to watch them snog. We don’t know how natural we’d look under that kind of pressure.

Aw look, it’s the official wave of the newlywed Royal couple…

Saturday, April 30th, 2011
[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Laura Perks]

Royal waves are very important - or so we’re told.

They say a lot about a Royal, and indeed a Royal couple. So what did Wills and Kate’s joint newlywed wave say about them as they made their way to Buckingham palace in their Royal carriage (just in front of Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton’s carriage that is) following their (really boring) wedding ceremony yesterday.

Well, it definitely showed how much the two love each other as their waves were totally in sync and they almost seemed to mimic each other – which in body language terms says great things about their relationship apparently (or so we heard some expert say on TV this morning).

So, in conclusion – Wills and Kate have a lovely joint Royal wave.

By the way, can you believe that we just wrote a whole “story” about a wave? Our job is f-ing ace.

Lets discuss Tara Palmer Tomkinson’s Royal Wedding outfit…

Saturday, April 30th, 2011
[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Staff Writer]

We’ve just done a quick poll in the office and half the staff think Tara Palmer Tomkinson looked absolutely amazing in her electric blue figure hugging dress, with matching gloves, matching shoes and a Philip Treacy hat, while the other half think she looked horrific.

What do you think? Was her outfit magic or tragic?

One thing’s for sure, that eye-catching hat did a great job at distracting from her messed up nose!

Basically everyone loved Kate Middleton’s Grace Kelly inspired wedding dress…

Saturday, April 30th, 2011
[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Laura Perks]

Everywhere you went yesterday all anyone seemed to talk about was Kate Middleton’s, sorry Princess Catherine’s, wedding dress.

And rightly so, because the dress was an absolute beauty we think you’ll all agree.

Up until the big day details about her wedding ensemble were kept hush hush, but now it’s been revealed that the gown was designed by McQueen’s Sarah Burton – and it’s being hailed as the perfect tribute to the designer who committed suicide last year.

The dress is thought to have been inspired by Hollywood legend Grace Kelly, who became Princess Grace of Monaco when she married Ranier III, Prince of Monaco in 1956 – as her wedding gown looked very similar to Kate’s indeed. Only Kate’s was better – obvs.

The Hangover 2 Producers Sued For Mike Tyson Face Tattoo Ripoff

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

If you've seen The Hangover, you know Mike Tyson has a small, but pivotal and hilarious role. He's not in the sequel, but if you've seen The Hangover 2 previews, you know his infamous face tattoo is - when Ed Helms wakes up with it.

The guy who tattooed Tyson in real life years ago is unamused.

The Hangover 2 Clip - Where Are We?

S. Victor Whitmill claims he created AND copyrighted the tat he affixed to Mike Tyson's face in 2003, and is suing Warner Bros. in federal court.

Whitmill says he's never allowed anyone to use the image and that the studio violated his copyright by using it on a hung over Helms in the film.

In addition to wanting the scenes cut from the film (don't bet on it) Whitmill is also demanding a cash settlement of an undisclosed amount.

No comment yet from Tyson, who remains certifiably nuts for having that design - however artistic - tattooed on his face. His face.

David Letterman Goes Off on Donald Trump

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

David Letterman was joking around with Dr. Phil last night, only he wasn't really joking when it came to Donald Trump's criticism of President Obama.

He began by asking Phil about Trump, and Phil didn't really bite. What Dave was really doing was giving himself his own segue to lay into the Donald.

Dave said, flat-out, that beyond the birth certificate, Trump's questioning of Obama - how he got into Harvard, how he wrote his memoirs - is racist.

David Letterman Goes Off on Donald Trump

“It smacks of racism,” said Letterman, noting that while it's all a giant media circus to a degree, “Nobody should be amused by that tactic.”

Trying to diffuse things, Dr. Phil said he doesn’t think Trump “has a racist bone in his body," but rather "just doesn’t think things through.”

Dave scoffed and said if Trump returns to The Late Show - “and I’m not sure that we want him back” - he “ought to be prepared to apologize.”

Trump denied he's racist yesterday, following a similar calling out by CBS News' Bob Schieffer over the mogul's remarks about Obama's grades.

A possible White House candidate in 2012, Trump said he was making a broader point about the President's lack of transparency about his past.

Whether or not you think Donald is out of line, it's nice to see a host not cozying up to celebs by default and actually offering a strong opinion.

Don't you agree? And what do you think about Trump? Racist?

Wild Pitcher: Derek Lowe Arrested For DUI

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Quite the week for the Atlanta Braves.

First, pitching coach Roger McDowell's gay slurs came under heavy scrutiny from the league. Now pitcher Derek Lowe has been arrested for a DUI.

At least Chipper Jones (.289, 21 RBIs) hasn't been hurt yet this year.

Lowe got popped last night in Atlanta after a trooper stopped him  “detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage” and gave him a field sobriety test.

Derek Lowe Mug Shot

Lowe's BAC wasn't higher than his WHIP (1.34) but it may have been close.

Lowe refused to take the state administered alcohol test and was booked and taken to the jail in Atlanta. He was released this morning on $2,944 bail.

A police spokesman revealed that Lowe was also charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain in his lane, which is why he was pulled over.

And with that, your latest member of THG's celebrity mug shots gallery, everyone!

Lowe is 2-3 with a 3.21 ERA in 2011. He is still scheduled to start this Sunday.

Charlie Sheen Calls Chuck Lorre a “P***y Loser,” Says Two and a Half Men Doomed Without Him

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Charlie Sheen is once again taking shot after shot at Chuck Lorre and Two and a Half Men, claiming both are failures without the Warlock at the helm.

It's been way too long since the last chapter of this war of words.

In response to Lorre's comments that Men may go on sans Sheen, the actor says his former boss is a "sad silly fool" and an "A-hole p*ssy loser."

That and a "low rent, nut-less sociopath," among other things.

Sheen's Korner Screen Shot

Charlie says he made the show, and the ratings prove his point.

Sheen absolutely unloaded on Lorre in an interview with TMZ at the notion that he would be replaced in a new season, with Jon Cryer getting a bigger role.

He says, "... No one cares about your feeble show without me," adding, "The ratings right now are not a fluke. It's a big fat mess. A 2.0 demo. That sucks."

It does, for sure, but we're talking about re-runs now. Re-runs only airing because Sheen went off the rails and was fired from the show. Details ...

"Not even a phone call to the man that put you on the map?" Charlie Sheen laments, undeterred. "The man that put 500 million dollars in your pockets?"

"I busted my ass for eight years to support your vision. They are voting you off the AA island. Even those clowns have no room for you anymore."

Seriously, Chuck. Think of how many days Charlie showed up hung over. For YOU man. Don't you have any respect for this upstanding, altruistic artiste?

Dr. Conrad Murray Believes Michael Jackson Rehearsal Footage Shows “Warning Signs”

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

Dr. Conrad Murray wants raw Michael Jackson rehearsal footage admitted as evidence in his trial, believing it will show that MJ was a mess before he died.

As part of his defense theory, Murray will contend that Michael was a lost cause both mentally and physically, and therefore he should not be held liable.

Murray faces involuntary manslaughter charges for MJ's June 2009 death.

Michael Jackson Tour Rehearsal

We've seen snippets such as the ones above, but Murray's lawyers have subpoenaed Sony for the raw footage from all the This Is It rehearsals.

He wants to show the jury what condition Michael was in while prepping for his tour in the days and weeks before he passed away, reports indicate.

While some of the video shows an alert Michael Jackson, other portions, his lawyers believe, will clearly show something is wrong with the singer.

Murray's lawyers want to argue that Michael was ill or even dying before June 25, 2009, and that Murray's Propofol injections alone didn't kill him.

He is also expected to argue that the singer may have injected himself. Will it be enough to inject reasonable doubt into the minds of 12 jurors?

Breaking Dawn Spoiler Pics: Edward & Bella’s Honeymoon Scene, Jacob on the Run!

Saturday, April 30th, 2011

It feels like our Twilight favorites are growing up before our eyes.

In the next installment, Part I of Breaking Dawn, Edward and Bella (Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart) take their relationship to the next level.

"They make love for the first time, they get married and pregnant," says director Bill Condon of the film, scheduled for release in November.

Here's are two newly-released photos of Edward and Bella's honeymoon:

Breaking Dawn Honeymoon PicBreaking Dawn Honeymoon Scene!

In EW's cover story, Rob and Kristen discussed the exotic locations for the film. Much of the vampire honeymoon was shot outside the Brazilian town of Paraty.

"There's just this incredibly sensual vibe down there," reveals Condon.

While Jacob, the werewolf played by Taylor Lautner doesn't get the girl, he does manage to get over her, and in doing so "becomes a man," says Condon.

At least he gets to ride a cool motorcycle and run around soaking wet in the rain. Sadly, girls, he's got a shirt on, but you'll still enjoy the images below.

Prince William and Kate Middleton: Married!

Friday, April 29th, 2011

Prince William and Kate Middleton became husband and wife - and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - at London's Westminster Abbey this morning.

The royal wedding, pegged the greatest and grandest affair since Prince Charles and Princess Diana's 1981 nuptials, marked a magical chapter in their fairy tale love story, which began at college and will continue throughout their lifetime.

Here's a look at Kate Middleton's wedding dress ...

Prince William and KateWilliam and Kate Marry

The couple wed in a traditional ceremony Friday.

"I, William Arthur Philip Louis, take thee, Catherine Elizabeth, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse," he vowed. "For richer, for poorer. In sickness and in health. To love and to cherish, till death us do part."

With brother and best man Prince Harry, in the uniform of Captain of the Household Cavalry, by his side, William wearing the scarlet uniform of the Colonel of the Irish Guards, slipped a traditional Welsh gold wedding band on Kate's finger.

"With this ring, I thee wed," he said.

The couple also wrote their own prayer for the grand occasion:

"God our Father, we thank you for our families; for the love that we share and for the joy of our marriage. In the busyness of each day keep our eyes fixed on what is real and important in life and help us to be generous with our time and love and energy."

"Strengthened by our union help us to serve and comfort those who suffer."

Middleton, 29, arrived to the Abbey in burgundy-and-black-colored Rolls-Royce, not a carriage, opting for a "lower-key arrival," a palace source said.

Guests such as Elton John and Victoria and David Beckham, just a few of the A-listers among the 1,900 who received an invitation, sat in chairs faced inward toward the aisle as she walked toward William during the hour-long ceremony.

William and Kate Wedding Portrait

Afterward, Queen Elizabeth II was set to host a post-wedding breakfast at Buckingham Palace for 600 guests. At 7 p.m., Prince Charles will throw a dinner dance for about 300 guests in another one of the palace's state rooms.

Before the wedding, the bride spent her last night as a single woman in the Royal Suite of the Goring Hotel, a stone's throw from Buckingham Palace. William, meanwhile, stayed with his father and brother at the Clarence House.

Another magical moment is still to come.

The couple are expected to arrive on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at 1:25 p.m. for a much-anticipated kiss – in the very same spot that William's parents, Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, famously kissed 30 years ago.

Will bring you that and a full assortment of Royal Wedding photos later today. For now, send your congratulations to the prince and princess below!

Kate Middleton’s Wedding Dress: First Look!

Friday, April 29th, 2011

Kate Middleton made her historic wedding day entrance this morning in style.

Arriving via car with her father Michael Middleton, the royal bride stepped out and at long last debuted her beautiful wedding dress: An Alexander McQueen gown custom-designed by Sarah Burton, the label's creative director.

The stunning gown features a long veil, with lace covering up Middleton's bare arms and shoulders. Prince William's bride reportedly did her own makeup. Her hair? Half up, half down, with a white veil and white ring atop her head.

The Real Housewives of NYC Recap: Ramona Singer Takes the Crazy Title

Friday, April 29th, 2011

How can you not love the Hamptons? It's so beautiful, so peaceful.

That is until the housewives arrive, drink all the Pinot and steal the dip.

I used to think Kelly was the crazy one of the group but lately I've begun to realize that that title is up for grabs. Ramona scares me. I think it's the crazy eyes. She makes Kelly look sane. The fact that Ramona has no filter between her brain and her mouth is highly entertaining to watch but must be hell to live with.

Gettin' Ramona'd

I lost track of the number of people Ramona offended in this episode.

First she calls out Luann's mothering abilities at a party. Granted, I question the idea of leaving two teenagers virtually unattended for a couple of days.

Who is this "mother's helper" Luann speaks of? Luann's kids come across as intelligent and well behaved but even the best teenagers find trouble.

That being said, Ramona still had no business questioning Luann's parenting and certainly not in public.

Ramona scares Kelly to the point that the poor woman practically recoils in fear when Ramona approaches her at Cindy's party.

Then Ramona goes on the attack with Cindy's brother and like a little blonde pitbull she won't let it go. Then she quickly plays the victim showing Cindy her shaking hands. I wasn't sure if Ramona should have laid off the Pinot or gotten another glass.

Sonja was a whole other train wreck. If she treats all of her friends the way she treats Cindy I can't imagine anyone wanting to be near her.

First she's annoyed that her driver had to take her all the way to Tribeca to meet Cindy for shopping. Then she insults the town where Cindy's party is being held in the Hamptons.

But my favorite was when she told Cindy that she's marked all of her company's e-mail as junk mail and never reads it. "But that's not an insult."

My God, can you imagine if Sonja was actually trying to insult her!

In Your Face!

I think Cindy was right to give Kelly the heads up about the set up with Ramona. Sonja didn't think Kelly's kids being there was a big deal but Sonja doesn't see much past herself. Unfortunately Kelly outed poor Cindy.

I'm sure Cindy's going to get an earful next week.

Alex was virtually nonexistent in this episode and Jill's still traveling the land down under but it looks like she's back next week. I'm sure the sparks will fly.

As for Kelly and Sonja's dog  walk on the beach goes…sand angels or listening to Sonja? No contest. Kelly's looking saner every week.

Who Will Host The X-Factor?

Friday, April 29th, 2011

The judges appear to be in place. But who will be The X-Factor's version of Ryan Seacrest this fall?

Entertainment Weekly reports that two names are close to finalizing deals as the competition's co-hosts: former High School Musical star Corbin Bleu and former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherziner.

Corbin PhotoNicole S.

Bleu made his mark on the Disney Channel, but he's since gone on to anchor In the Heights on Broadway for a run. Scherzinger, meanwhile, is a favorite of producer Simon Cowell, who says he absolutely adores the beauty.

Contracts for both will need to be signed soon, as production is scheduled to begin on May 8.

Lara Logan Speaks on Egyptian Assault

Friday, April 29th, 2011

For the first time since she was assaulted by a mob in Egypt, Lara Logan is telling her story.

"There was a moment that everything went wrong," the CBS reporter said to 60 Minutes, adding that her clothes were "torn to pieces" by a group of protesters.

Lara Logan Picture

The long-time journalist feared for her life during the attack.

"There was no doubt in my mind that I was in the process of dying. I thought not only am I going to die, but it's going to be just a torturous death that's going to go on forever," she explained to correspondent Scott Pelley.

The interview will air this Sunday, after which Logan says she won't discuss the harrowing incident again because she doesn't want it to "define" her.

Upon seeing her kids, Logan said she "felt like I had been given a second chance that I didn't deserve... because I did that to them. I came so close to leaving them, to abandoning them. I am so much stronger [now]."

American Idol Results: Who’s Safe? Who’s Out?

Friday, April 29th, 2011

Well? Who among American Idol's final six is no longer with us?

Did the singer a lot of us expected to get the boot actually get it tonight? Or did voters have yet another surprise up their sleeves here in Season 10?

As we saw it, Jacob Lusk would end up in the bottom three, while James Durbin and Scotty McCreery would be safe. Beyond that? Anyone's guess.

It turns out there wasn't even a bottom three tonight ...

American Idol Top Six

Ryan just started send people to safety in random order until there's no one left. First Haley Reinhart, then James, then Lauren Alaina were in the clear.

Scotty, Jacob and Casey Abrams were left vying for two of the three safe spots. Follow the jump to see which singer left American Idol this evening ...

Casey Abrams was voted out, with no judges' save to rescue him.

The jazz singer from Idyllwild, Calif., had quite a run - many weeks longer than it likely should have gone - but it reached the end tonight, surprisingly.

"This is what talent looks like, ladies and gentlemen," Ryan Seacrest said, as he introduced Casey for his final performance, "I Put a Spell On You."

Didn't see it coming. He wasn't the strongest in the field, but we saw Jacob Lusk going home this week. But once again, the votes are the votes.

Congratulations on a great run, Casey. Now, on to the top five ...

Donald Trump Bristles at Racism Allegations, Tries to Downplay Obama Comments

Friday, April 29th, 2011

Bob Schieffer of CBS' Face the Nation and that network's Evening News made headlines last night when he flat-out called Donald Trump a racist.

At issue? Trump's questioning of President Obama's birth certificate and later his academic record, criticisms Schieffer says have racist undertones.

The Donald was far from pleased with Bob's assessment.

Moments ago, he told TMZ: "That is a terrible statement for a newscaster to make. I am the last person that such a thing should be said about."

Bob's scathing statement against Trump came last night in response to Trump's insinuation that Obama may not have had the grades to get into Harvard.

Schieffer said, "That's code for saying he got into law school because he's black. This is an ugly strain of racism that's running through this whole thing."

Asked if he was implying Obama got into Harvard via affirmative action, Trump said: "Affirmative action is out there. It's a program that is available."

"I have no idea whether it applies in this case. I'm not suggesting anything. "Grades are the least important aspect of being president. It's not a big subject."

Trump insists he's not racist and wouldn't say if he supports or opposes affirmative action. But he's clearly trying to douse some of the flames he ignited.

What do you think? Is Trump racist?
