At least Lindsay Lohan can laugh at her own predicament…

Monday, February 28th, 2011

It’s looking like there’s a strong possibility Lindsay Lohan may be going to jail in a couple weeks time. Despite being a bit of a dab hand at prison these days, we’ve got a feeling Lindsay’s probably feeling pretty damn frightened about the prospect of going back in the slammer again.

Even so, it seems as though the actress isn’t afraid to poke fun at her dire predicament; she made a cameo appearance in US chatshow host Jimmy Kemmel’s post-Oscars comedy video, and in it she makes a joke about her legal woes.

The funny video sees a host of Hollywood actresses - such as Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Sofia Vergara, Eva Longoria – appear in an advert for Jimmy’s exercise DVD, which at the end of the video Kemmel describes as a “steal” (as in cheap, obviously) to which Lindsay replies: “allegedly”

That’s actually quite funny, although also slightly wrong that she’s able to laugh about it already.

To see Lindsay’s appearance in the video, skip to the very last minute or so of the clip. Or of course you could just watch the whole thing, but be warned it does get quite tedious after a while though.

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Sandra Bullock vs. Gwyneth Paltrow

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Sandra Bullock and Gwyneth Paltrow both have Best Actress wins to their name. But who will triumph in a THG Fashion Face-Off from last night's Oscars?

It's been a crazy year for Sandra. Since the '10 Oscars - where she won for The Blind Side - she got divorced and adopted a baby boy from New Orleans.

Suffice it to say, she's bounced back nicely, and while she admits being more tired than a year ago, looked lovely as ever on the red carpet Sunday in L.A.

Gwyneth, meanwhile, looked downright statuesque and proved why she is considered a celebrity fashion icon by so many. So who dressed best? Vote:

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Mila Kunis vs. Mandy Moore

Monday, February 28th, 2011

It's a celebrity fashion clash of cuties from the Academy Awards.

Cuties may not even do these two justice, based on the dresses they donned Sunday night. Black Swan star Mila Kunis' gown can best be described as head-snapping for reasons we don't even need to get into here. But seriously, wow.

Mandy Moore, meanwhile, was also on hand to perform "I See the Light" from her hit animated film Tangled, and looked so beautiful it was hard to believe this was Mandy Moore. No offense to Mandy Moore, it's just ... wow again.

Who dressed best at the Oscars? Vote and decide:

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Make It Official

Monday, February 28th, 2011

We've seen them hold hands before.

And cameras caught them on a movie date in early February.

But Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez put to rest any remaining debate over their status by showing up together on Hollywood's biggest night. The 100% confirmed, official, adorable couple stopped on the red carpet and posted for pictures at the annual Vanity Fair Oscar party.

Turn away now, ladies, if you don't wanna see your dream man wrapping his arms around another woman. Both dressed in Dolce & Gabbana, you must admit: Justin and Selena look happy, don't they?

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Reese Witherspoon vs. Amy Adams

Monday, February 28th, 2011

We previously profiled the styles of Anne Hathaway and Scarlett Johansson. Now it's Reese Witherspoon vs. Amy Adams in another Oscar night Fashion Face-Off.

Who prevailed? You be the judge.

Reese, a former winner for Walk The Line, was as cute as they come. Amy, who was up for Best Supporting Actress for The Fighter (won by Melissa Leo in the same film), dazzled in blue and over $1 million in jewels. But who looked best?

Aw, just take a look at this heart-warming picture will you?

The two teens have been trying to keep their relationship out of the public eye as much as possible since they started dating a few months back, but last night Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez decided to “go public” so to speak when they attended the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party together.

The pair attended the party alongside the likes of Juliette Lewis, Jessica Biel, Eva Mendes, Anna Paquin and Cameron Diaz - who came dressed as one of the cast of The Only Way is Essex it would seem. That’s funny, we never knew she was a fan of the show…

Celebrity Hair Affair: Vanessa Hudgens

Monday, February 28th, 2011

It didn't send shockwaves through the universe like that of Justin Bieber.

It's not on part with the altered look of Jennifer Aniston.

But Vanessa Hudgens is still the latest celebrity to chop off a few inches of her hair, showing up at Elton John's Academy Awards viewing party last night with noticeably shorter locks. Is it an improvement? Do you prefer Vanessa's old style? Compare, contrast and vote now...

Coming Soon: Katie Price The Movie…

Monday, February 28th, 2011
[Images: X17 Online Words: Candi Kays]

Let’s be honest, with several books, fragrances and fashion lines already under her belt it was only a matter of time before ‘Katie Price The Movie’ hit the big screen.

It’s been reported that the former glamour model – who we spotted grabbing lunch at Mel’s Diner in Hollywood on Friday afternoon after going for a run with her brother as as she continues training for the London marathon – has signed a deal with Paramount Pictures for a movie about her life.

She told the Sunday Mirror, “It’s huge something nobody will be expecting. I won’t worry about people saying s*** about me – I’m hard.”

So who will play Jordan? Well, funny you should ask, because that’s the exact question Daybreak presenter Ross King proposed when he spotted her arriving at Elton John’s post-Oscars party in LA last night and you’ll never guess who she suggested… she said either Megan Fox or Julia Roberts - HA!

Although, to be fair we think she was probably joking, at least we hope she was.

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Anne Hathaway vs. Scarlett Johansson

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Normally, some might consider it a fashion faux pas to wear red on the red carpet, but if you're Anne Hathaway, you can pull it off with flying colors.

The Oscar host looked absolutely ravishing last night. Scarlett Johansson, on the other hand? Well, at least one person thought she looked amazing.

Her dress is gorgeous, but the actress' hair gives the impression she got it on in a limousine on the way there. Major JBF hair, ScarJo. We like it.

Which style star wins this battle? Let your votes decide!

Academy Awards (Party) Fashion Face-Off: Kim Kardashian vs. Tori Spelling

Monday, February 28th, 2011

The Oscars can often be long and boring and stuffy. But there's a reason why this awards ceremony trumps all others:

It might be the only event remaining on the planet that does NOT send an invitation to Kim Kardashian.

As a result, Kim was forced to make like many other celebrities last night. She watched the ceremony unfold at Elton John's annual viewing party, held at The Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. So did Tori Spelling.

We'd ask which of these women is less talented, but that might make for an impossible debate. Instead, simple compare their looks and vote now:

Melissa Leo Drops F-Bomb in Oscar Acceptance Speech For Some Reason

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Melissa Leo cemented her name in Academy Awards history last night, but not merely because the 50-year-old made the list of 2011 Oscar winners.

After winning Best Supporting Actress honors for her role in The Fighter, her colorful acceptance speech certainly took the audience by surprise.

With an unnecessary and unexpected f-bomb, Melissa set producers scrambling to bleep the verbal gaffe in time for the tape-delayed airing on ABC ...

Melissa Leo F-Bomb

Getting choked up, the star exclaimed: "When I watched Kate [Winslet] win [the same award] two years ago, it looked so f*%king easy!"

Co-host Anne Hathaway joked shortly thereafter: ‘Wow, and here I thought the 'F' stood for 'The Fighter.' It's the young and hip Oscars!’

The actress later apologized for her use of the expletive, explaining she got caught up in the moment, and didn’t mean to offend anyone.

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Halle Berry vs. Natalie Portman

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Halle Berry and Natalie Portman belong to an exclusive club.

No, we aren't referring to Best Actress winners, although Portman did take home that trophy at last night's Academy Awards and Berry did the same in 2001.

But those honors are nothing compared to the inclusion of these beauties in a THG Fashion Face-Off. Below, we've posted photos of both Halle and Natalie on the red carpet. Whose dress do you prefer? Who pulled off her look better?

Don't be afraid to vote, people. Berry is likely just happy we're talking about something other than her custody battle...

Would you effin’ believe it?! Two toned hair. She is one wild woman.

The singer unveiled this new look via Twitter yesterday presumably to tie in with the release of her latest video Born This Way which is being premiered later today.

When she posted this snap of her hairstyle on Twitter, GaGa wrote:

“Dyed my bangs black. Its my new monsterlook. Let the mitosis of the future begin. Off to meet Judas.”

That’s so deep.

Oscars outfits: the worst dressed…

Monday, February 28th, 2011
[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Staff Writer]

Seeing as we’ve compiled a list of the best dressed celebrities at last night’s Oscars, we think its only fair that we also show you some of the most fug frocks from yesterday’s awards. We like to be inclusive you know.

So who wore the most hideous ensembles, we hear you ask? Well tut tut to Nicole Kidman who looked particularly bad in a white dress, as we’re afraid did Florence Welch who tried to impress in a vintage frock - but failed hideously.

Other notable fashion fails came from the likes of Marisa Tomei, Virginia Madsen, Halle Berry, Annette Bening, Lisa Marie Falcone and Melissa Leo.

So the King’s Speech won loads of awards did it?!

Bovered! We’re far more interested (as we suspect you are) about who was wearing what at last night’s Oscars ceremony, which is why we’ve compiled this little gallery of all the best dressed celebs at the awards.

So who’s in this gallery then? Well, Sandra Bullock is, as is Michelle Williams (who was wearing Chanelle apparently), Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway, Amy Adams, Helen Mirren, Hailee Steinfeld, Celine Dione, Hilary Swank, Natalie Portman, Russell Brand and Helena Boham Carter – but only because she was flying the flag for Britain (literally), and we appreciate that.

David Beckham unveils another new tattoo…

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Let’s take a little break from all the Oscars hoopla (don’t worry there is going be plenty more on that later) to admire David Beckham’s new tattoo.

The footballer chose to unveil his latest piece of body art with a series of pictures posted on his Facebook fanpage, along with a video explaining when and why he chose to have it done.

Apparently, while it’s new to us, David’s actually had the tat, which he describes as Jesus being carried by three cherubs, for three months and it’s important to him as it represents that one day his three sons will carry him. Aw.

Melissa Leo apologises for swearing during Oscars acceptance speech…

Monday, February 28th, 2011

The acceptance speeches during last night’s 83rd Annual Academy Awards were all surprisingly dull.

Unfortunately, there were no Gwyneth Paltrow or Halle Berry style blub-fests and the only speech worth mentioning was Melissa Leo and even that was only mildly interesting.

So, we’ve all been there, right? You’re accepting an academy award for the Best Actress In A Supporting Role at the most prestigious award ceremony in the world, when the f-word accidentally slips out - Ooops! Don’t worry Melissa, it’s happened to the best of us.

Now, having watched the clip several times we’re not entirely convinced that the 50-year-old Fighter star didn’t know exactly what she was doing when she said, “When I watched Kate (Winselet) two years ago, it looked so f***ing easy!”

Considering she’d just won an award for her acting skills she really needs to work on her shocked face as the whole thing looked terribly staged if you ask us.

Nevertheless, after the show during a backstage interview Melissa apologised for the slip up and said, “I did not mean to offend and it was a very inappropriate place to use that particular word.”

But it’s got everybody talking about you and that was the point, right?

Katie Price – An Apology

Monday, February 28th, 2011
[Images:]

Yesterday we published an article which claimed that Katie Price had attended a gay lap dancing club in LA with her son Harvey.

We had repeated this claim after it appeared in the Daily Mirror and passed comment on it saying that we would love to write something nice about Katie but she does herself no favours.

Our opportunity to write something nice has come about sooner than we expected.

We accept that there is absolutely no truth in this allegation to Katie who we accept is a loving and caring mother to her children.

We thank Katie for dealing with us about this in a proper way.

Charlie Sheen: I’m High … on Charlie Sheen!

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Charlie Sheen admits in a new interview with ABC's 20/20, which will air Tuesday and will be teased on GMA tomorrow, that he is SO high on a drug.

You know that drug as Charlie Sheen.

The actor, who went OFF on his boss last week after CBS shut down production on Two and a Half Men, wants to share his side of the story. Again.

Smoke Blower

"I have one speed. I have one gear. Go!" says Sheen, who will not accept defeat (at what, no one knows) to ABC. "I dare you to keep up with me."

Andrea Canning, who visited Sheen and his goddesses, Bree Olson and Natalie Kenly at his home this weekend, even learned what he's high on:

"I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen."

The actor entered an "at home rehab program" after an epic bender last month and is currently feuding with the producers of his hit CBS show.

Why is he speaking out, seemingly every day? "There's wrongs to be righted and stories to tell," he says. "People need to hear my side of it."

"Need" is a strong word. But we do enjoy it.

EastEnders star Neil McDermott apologises for cheating on wife with a 16-year-old fan

Monday, February 28th, 2011
[Images: Mr Paparazzi/Big Pictures Words: Staff Writer]

This sounds like it’s a plot straight out of EastEnders, but it’s not it’s real life and it’s pretty horrid. Neil McDermott, who plays Ryan Malloy in the soap, has apologised to his wife – who gave birth to their daughter a few weeks ago – today for sleeping with a 16-year-old fan.

Apparently the actor met the young female fan while playing a Blind Date-style game at Glam nightclub in Stockton-on-Tees last week. According to reports she was in the audience and got talking to Neil after the game and then went to visit him at his hotel the following day.

They slept together and now Neil has issued a statement about the incident, saying:

"I am so sorry to my wife, daughter and our family for this betrayal. I love my wife and family dearly and I'm distraught that my life is now in tatters due to a stupid mistake.

"This was a one-off incident but I've let myself down as well as my wife and everyone who knows me. Now I just need privacy and time to do all I can to rebuild my family."

"I've no excuse for my actions but I had no idea the girl wasn't over 18 as we met in a nightclub. Either way, I've caused heartache to those I love most which I deeply regret.”

It’s not much in the way of an apology is it?

Kate and Jon Gosselin: NOT Getting Back Together

Monday, February 28th, 2011

In a recent interview, Kate Gosselin said she will never say a bad word publicly about her ex Jon, as he will always be the father of her children.

That doesn't mean she'll get back together with him, however.

A deluge of recent celebrity gossip reports have suggested Kate and Jon Gosselin, who have been on much better terms lately, might reconcile.

Not the case, says a source close to Kate.

Gosselin StyleDancer with Stars

"There is absolutely no chance of a reconciliation. They remain civil for the sake of the kids, but that's it," said the insider. "It's frustrating for Kate that people keep making stories up. Things are better but they have both moved on."

Jon has been dating Ellen Ross for the better part of a year and seems quite content living a normal life, working 9-to-5 installing solar panels.

As for Kate, she's single and has no qualms about it.

"Kate wants nothing more than to be seen in a completely different light than Jon is viewed," says the source. "Obviously he is the father of her children and that won't change, but she is feeling very happy about her decisions and situation."

Lindsay Lohan Looks to Score Free Swag

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Looking remarkably fresh-faced and lucid, Lindsay Lohan was seen at Kari Feinstein's Academy Awards Style Lounge at Montage Beverly Hills yesterday.

Bad news: She may not be attending these types of events for awhile, as chances are she'll go to jail after accepting a plea bargain for grand theft.

Good news: The stuff at this particular event was free, meaning there won't be a "misunderstanding" when she makes a break with armloads of it ...

Lindsay Lohan: So pretty. So felonious.

Lil Wayne Detained, Released By DEA

Monday, February 28th, 2011

Lil Wayne was swarmed by DEA agents at Opa-Loca Airport in Miami, but in a more surprising twist than learning he is not the father of a child, he was released.

The rapper was stopped and searched by federal agents after he got off his plane last week. Multiple agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency were involved.

Officials performed a contraband search on Lil, who's currently on felony probation stemming from incidents involving drugs and guns. Nothing was found!

Lil W.

PHEW: The agents let the rapper go on his way without incident.

It's unclear if they had a reason to search him, or if they even need one (in other words, is the fact that he's on probation sufficient cause any time they wish).

In any case, he may make it rain at the strip club and he may destroy your a$$ at Uno, but Weezy's been clean and sober as can be since getting out of jail.

Shawntel Newton on Brad Womack: I Was in Love!

Sunday, February 27th, 2011

Shawntel Newton is sad.

She harbors no hard feelings about being eliminated last week on The Bachelor, but she was devastated just the same. She even uses the l-word to describe it.

Here's what Shawntel had to say about taking Brad Womack to her unusual workplace, the tension with her family, who she thinks will win and more ...

Shawntel Newton

On taking Brad to work: "I thought I might as well lay my cards out on the table. This is my job. This is what I grew up around and if he wants to get down on his knee and propose, he should see what I do. It's the final test almost."

On her family's concerns: "I always thought that I would stay in Chico and take over the business. It was a shock to my family. Everything came at them at once – me saying I'm in love, I might be leaving this lifestyle in Chico, moving."

"I was falling in love so I was willing to move."

On being surprised she was cut: "I told him I was in love. It was like minutes [before] he left. I thought I'd have more time to explore what he thought about me moving, saying I love him, the funeral home. Unfortunately, he wasn't feeling the same."

On moving on: "I compare this to losing a loved one because we go through the same stages of denial. In losing Brad, I allowed myself to get angry. I allowed myself to go through the stages in a healthy way and I'm not in love with him anymore."

On who she thinks will win: "I thought Ashley Hebert was going home. I knew that she hadn't told him that she was falling in love and I had. It was a shock that he'd let a girl go who was in love and willing to leave her life."

"But my personal opinion is that he is in love with Emily. she's everything he wants. He wants to be a father to her child. She wants to get married and have more kids."

Who do you think will win The Bachelor?
