Michael Jackson's estate is incensed, albeit legally powerless to ax a documentary about the late singer's autopsy on the Discovery Channel.

The upcoming special set to run in the UK features a reenactment of MJ's autopsy. The King of Pop's fans and executors alike are irate over it.

Co-Executors John Branca and John McClain lambasted the network for "cynically attempting to dupe the public into believing this has serious medical value."

Branca and McClain can't legally stop the Jan. 13 special exploiting Michael's death, so they're mounting a press offensive in hopes of shaming Discovery.

The L.A. County Coroner is with them, too. Producers from Discovery went to Asst. Chief Coroner Ed Winter earlier this year and were told to kiss off.

"I told them no, we had no interest and it was a pending case," Winter said. "It's unprofessional. I wouldn't do it anyway out of respect for the family."

Producers did get a copy of the Coroner's report, which is public record.

Sarah Palin fans may not tune in, but Oprah Winfrey takes the next significant step in her career on Saturday when she launches OWN.

The self-titled cable network is expected to reach nearly 80 million homes and, according to the goddess herself, will connect "you to your best self and to the world." Talk about a lofty goal!

Oprah says she always knew she would be a "light carrier" and that her 25-year run as a talk show host would simply be a starting point for her "next thing."

She'll appear on OWN for at least 70 hours/year, starting Saturday night with a behind-the-scenes special. Other programs will feature Oprah favorites such as Cristina Ferrare's Big Bowl of Love, In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman and The Gayle King Show.

Says Winfrey:

"I'm going to be there to get this network launched. I have a commitment to do a show on the channel for the next several years to try to get things off to as good a start as possible. But, if in 25 years, I'm sitting there on the air in my rocking chair, something went wrong."

Best known for her role on Full House, Candace Cameron Bure admits in a new memoir: she never had a full stomach.

The actress struggled with bulimia for many years, beginning after the aforementioned show concluded in 1995.

"It's a very dangerous cycle that can just start to consume your life and really take over," Bure told People of the disease, which she recounts in Reshaping It All."It wasn't about me trying to lose weight. It was all about emotions."

Candace is now married to NHL player Valeri Bure and says exercise with her three children - ages 8 to 12 - helps her maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This memoir will hit stores in January.

Multiple sources confirm that Kim Kardashian really will release a music video in the near future, and Kanye West will play a key role in it!

TMZ reports the video was shot in Los Angeles on December 28, while Kim Tweeted the following on that date: “OMG u guys have no idea what I’m doing today! You are gonna DIE!!!!”

In October, Kim and Kanye were spotted together on multiple occasions. We assumed they were dating. But now we know better.

Or worse, we should say. Now we know much, much worse.

Nicole Richie married Joel Madden this month.

In slightly less blissful news, Nicole Richie's probation stemming from a 2006 DUI was terminated early this week. December is all about milestones!

The clothing designer and Priceless author was arrested in December 2006 after she was pulled over for driving on the wrong side of the highway.

IT'S OVER: Probation, that is. Way to go, Nic.

Nicole admitted to using marijuana and Vicodin before getting behind the wheel. She spent 82 minutes in jail, was released and put on probation.

Richie's lawyer showed that she completed all the terms of her probation and the judge agreed to terminate her probation early. Amazing, right?

Is rotund Teen Mom baby daddy Gary Shirley the target of Amber Portwood's insane rage, or does he play a big role in antagonizing her?

In a video obtained by TMZ, Shirley gets an earful from the accused felon, but the video raises serious questions about big daddy himself.

Shot in April, the clip shows Shirley on the phone with Amber Portwood, who goes off on him as usual. Strangely, he seems to revel in it.

Should we be pointing fingers at Gary as well?

Portwood pleaded not guilty to assault this week, but Gary may not be a sympathetic figure. He sure had fun with this particular, button-pushing diatribe.

While she was reportedly encouraged to fight Gary by MTV, cops say Amber claims it was not done for Teen Mom viewers' sake but was authentic anger.

Is Gary was really a "victim" of violence in all of this? Was he playing it up for the cameras, or just riling up his baby mama? This clip doesn't help his cause:

No word on when Kendall and Kylie Jenner get theirs.

Because we don't know enough about the Kardashians.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians first gave us a glimpse into their lives in 2007. Khloe Kardashian then spun off with Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami.

Khloe and Lamar married in September of last year 2009 and he's been making regular appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians since.

Their spinoff show, which has yet to be titled, is expected to be a Newlyweds-style effort, offering insight into Khloe's day-to-day life as a wife.

She'll also play stepmother to Lamar's two children, Destiny and Lamar Jr., who he had with ex Liza Morales. Should be absolutely riveting TV.

NFL star Brett Favre will be fined $50,000 for allegedly sending former New York Jets employee Jenn Sterger explicit text messages and photos.

Favre was NOT suspended for his actions, but the fine basically implies that an NFL investigation verified the rumors going around for months.

Basically, Jenn saw pics of Brett Favre's small junk. Amazing.

SHE'S SO FINE: Worth a $50,000 one? Debatable.

Jenn Sterger, who has posed for Playboy and Maxim, worked as a sideline personality for the Jets in 2008, Favre's one season with the team.

In addition to firing off photos of his wang, Brett allegedly asked Jenn for a video of her masturbating. Dude is very forward, give him that.

Favre admitted leaving her voicemails, but denies sending her explicit pics. The fine was issued because the star was "deemed uncooperative."

We would deem him a host of other things, too.

A suspension wouldn't have mattered that much anyway, as the beleaguered shot-caller was unlikely to play the Sunday because of injuries.

It turns out Mel saved his borderline crazy best for 2010 ...

Mel and Oksana's daughter, Lucia, was born in late 2009. The pair split up early this year amid a volcanic blowout at the actor's Malibu home.

A blowout, Oksana claims, that ended with both herself and Lucia getting punched in the face. Mel denies this and says she's extorting him.

What he can't deny, however, are the racist phone tirades - obtained and released, day after day by Radar Online this summer - against her.

Whether he abused her or not (he tells a different story and there have been no charges filed against him), the Mel Gibson tapes are shocking.

The man needs help. Medication and then some. As celebrity news goes, this story will go down as one of the most remarkable of all time.

It's remarkable that anyone on Earth would think or say the kinds of things uttered in the recordings below ... let alone a Hollywood legend.

One of the world's leading heart throbs managed to undo a quarter century of adulation by alienating minorities, Jews, women ... you name it.

Baffling as it is, the next chapter has yet to be written. Mel and Oksana continue to trade allegations and fight in court over custody of Lucia.

Can his career be saved? Is he really an abusive monster or just a sad guy with serious anger management problems? Only time will tell.

Natalie Portman just revealed she is pregnant and engaged to Benjamin Millepied. In The Other Woman, she sleeps with her married boss, then loses a baby.

Portman, who can also be seen in No Strings Attached, plays a character whose boss leaves his wife for her in the film based on Ayelet Waldman's novel.

The character becomes pregnant, loses her newborn child and struggles to cope with the tragedy while building a relationship with her young stepson.

Michael Lohan, voice of reason? Now we've seen everything.

Lindsay Lohan's dad says she's being manipulated by a lawyer dying for publicity and that suing the producer of a movie based on her life is absurd.

Her mom and Mike's ex-wife, Dina Lohan, and attorney Stephanie Ovadia have made rumblings that they may sue the producers of Dogs in Pocketbooks.

Michael says the film about a spoiled starlet with addictions who goes in and out of rehab is just satire, although he hopes they get the facts straight.

Many football fans, including President Barack Obama, are happy about Michael Vick getting a second chance from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fox News' Tucker Carlson is not one of those people.

We know it's a 24-hour news world, and Fox anchors are mandated to embrace the opposite view of anything Obama says, but listen to this:

For its part, the White House reiterated that Obama condemns his crimes (running a dogfighting ring) but believes convicts should get a chance to contribute to society when they are released from prison (Vick served nearly two years).

Actor Rupert Everett is not shy about expressing himself ... or naming names if he's bitter enough about who becomes a star and who doesn't.

Speaking to BBC Radio 4 about how homosexuals fare in Hollywood, the interview eventually turned to the question of audience perception.

Rupert argued that no matter what fans may think, the industry decides who will become A-list. How else to you explain Jennifer Aniston?!

"If you look and analyze the careers of many, many, many stars, you'll find that they're mostly sustained by the business," he said.

"Jennifer Aniston will have so many absolute flops, but she's still a member of that club, and like a star forming in the universe, things will swirl around her and it will suddenly solidify into another vital tasteless rom-com."

Rude? Bitter? You bet. Although The Switch, The Bounty Hunter, Love Happens and Management were pretty terrible, we'll give him that.

Marley & Me was a big hit, though, and Friends? One of the most popular shows in history. Plus, she married Brad Pitt and has that hair.

In the end, you don't have to be a professional critic to observe correctly that Jen has made some bad movies. But there is an audience.

If they weren't profitable, why would they continue to be made? Rom-coms may be tasteless, but they're cheap to produce. Cha. Ching.

Maybe she's riding her past successes a bit these days, but does she really deserve to be singled out like this? Go get a life, Rupert!

Photographer Stewart Shining has presented Robert Pattinson lovers with the best holiday gift of all: the actor himself! Sort of.

Shining, who shot the star for a recent issue of Italian Vogue, Tweeted the following outtake with a note that reads: "I was just thinking this would be my motto for the new year, and a nice Xmas present for the RPatt fans."

Earlier this month, some of the biggest stars in the universe came out for a special that paid homage to Paul McCartney and aired last night.

Among the attendees at the Kennedy Center Honors were Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama and Glee star Matthew Morrison. Artists such as Gwen Stefani, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson and Steven Tyler performed renditions of McCartney classics on stage.

What was her post-birth weight-loss secret?
"I try to make healthier choices.”

What are her vices?
"Oreo Double Stuffs, but I’ll have two instead of eating a box of them. And I love chips! I like Sour Cream & Onion Ruffles and [Scott Disick] always buys me the mini Hostess Donettes because I’m obsessed with them.”

Can she give the ignorant public any tips?
“Little meals throughout the day are realistic for people to follow. Try to get workouts in. It’s always so hard to start [a weight-loss plan] and get into it, but I think it’s a positive thing that everyone should try to do for themselves.”

Eat healthy, cut down on portions and work out. We hope you're writing all this down, people. It's incredibly insightful stuff, totally worth the money you'll spend on this magazine.

With his soon-to-be-ex-wife speaking out at every turn, and with rumors regarding his divorce spreading, Kelsey Grammer has finally released a statement.

It explains why he's in such a rush to split from Camille Grammer and marry Kayte Walsh and it boils down to one word: LOVE.

"Kayte and I are marrying because we are engaged, and we are engaged because we are in love and see no reason to postpone our happiness any longer," the actor says.

While no wedding date has been scheduled, Grammer adds:

"We are planning something we wish to be a private affair among several of our friends. Anything else is conjecture and false. Kayte and I are the only reliable source for this story. End of story."

This is all well and good, but with Kesley and Camille Grammer first filing for divorce in July, one has to wonder: when did he have time to fall so in love with someone else?
