It takes a lot for us to side with Scott Disick. Seriously, the guy makes Jon Gosselin look like a non-douchebag.

But it's hard to find issue with the reality star's reaction in the video below. Confronted by paparazzi who get far too close to son Mason, Disick goes off at the Miami airport. Seriously, don't they know it costs at least $5,000 to videotape his son?!?

Following this incident, Kourtney Kardashian took to her blog and tried to reason with all celebrity gossip reporters out there. She wrote:

“Paparazzi beware. Please don’t get too close to Mason. We don’t like it. Stay at a friendly distance, don’t ask dumb questions and we can all get along."

Jon Gosselin really doesn't want his kids on TV anymore.

Some have questioned his motives, but he seems intent on living a normal life these days and for his eight offspring to experience the same thing.

That said, he went to court to stop Kate Gosselin from dragging them to Australia, but was denied by a judge because the excursion is work related.

Once again, Jon and Kate don't see eye to eye.

The same judge allowed Kate Gosselin to film her spin-off reality TV show, Kate Plus 8, on TLC in the first place, despite vehement objections by Jon.

“This was yet another slap in the face for Jon because he did not want the kids to go to Australia," a source close to Jon Gosselin told Radar Online.

“But the judge ruled that because it was for work it was okay. Jon had plans with the kids. Now he won't see them until they return in mid-January."

"He was scheduled to have them this weekend, but there was nothing he could do as the decision was taken out of his hands by the judge."

“Kate told Jon about the trip, and when he did not agree it was decided that the judge should intervene and the ruling went in her favor."

“He is trying to put a brave face on and has explained the situation to his own family and friends, but this is a big disappointment for him."

“But if nothing else, they all respect him for trying to stand up to Kate and for fighting for what he thinks is right for his kids as well.”

Fresh off goin' camping with Sarah Palin in Alaska, Kate flew to Australia with her eight kids, plus body guard Steve Nield, on Tuesday.

The Gosselin crew will also visit New Zealand, and during the excursion they will shoot tons of footage for future episodes of Kate Plus 8.

As for Jon's plans tonight?

“It is most likely that he will be staying in Pennsylvania to be with his girlfriend Ellen Ross plus family and friends as they ring in 2011."

Sounds normal at least.

The marriage of rocker John Mellencamp and wife Elaine has come to an end.

A spokesman for the couple of nearly two decades says the two are "calling it a day," adding:

"John and Elaine Mellencamp are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family."

John and Elaine have two sons. Both will remain in Indiana to raise the children, while it's safe to assume John's "Pink Houses" will remain in our heads forever. Thanks a lot, Ford!

Sources tell Great Britian's The Sun that Cher Lloyd has signed with Jay Z's record label. Says an insider of the X Factor finalist:

“There’s been a hell of a lot of interest in her. Will.i.am’s backing only intensified the battle to get her signature. After weighing up the pros and cons, it was thought that the team at Roc Nation would be best placed to turn her dreams of stardom into a reality.”

With these words, Hugh Hefner gifted Crystal Harris with a ring on New Year's Eve and watched as the 24-year old Playmate said yes through tears of joy.

The busty blonde tells E! News she and Hef had discussed marriage at length, so "nothing's changed" now that the engagement is official. As for that three-karat-plus rock? She helped pick it out.

Harris also says the wedding will be small and intimate (just "close friends and family"), will take place at the Mansion and probably be held in the summer.

His publicist said: “After careful and thoughtful consideration on both of our parts, Christina and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. We entered into our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness that we leave it."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are always on the move. Their latest stop? Pitt's hometown of Springfield, Mo., where they spread good cheer ... and money.

Just days after celebrating Christmas in Namibia, the couple made a brief stopover at the St. John’s Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center in Springfield, Mo.

That's the place where Brad grew up.

"They called a little bit ahead, about an hour ahead, and requested to tour the pediatric center," hospital spokesperson Cora Scott said on Thursday.

"They stayed about 45 minutes. It was a very nice visit."

Pitt and Jolie, along with Pitt's brother and sister and their families, donated $1 million to St. John's Foundation for Community Health just last year.

They dedicated a pediatric cancer center to Pitt's mom.

"Jane Pitt is a gem in our community," Scott said. "She's a very wonderful woman who cares so very much about the well being of children."

During the brief visit Wednesday, the Hollywood A-list couple were accompanied by both of Brad Pitt's parents along with his brother Doug.

Pitt and Jolie didn't mention New Year's plans, but for now it seems that the couple and their kids are spending time with extended family.

No mention of their recent wedding either ... SHOCKING.

As recently as this spring, Ryan Phillippe said he was still sad over his divorce from Reese Witherspoon.

But the actor has taken the high, mature road when it comes to his ex-wife's recent engagement, telling The New York Daily News:

"I'm very happy for both Reese and Jim. I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children."

Phillippe and Witherspoon have two children together.

They divorced in 2008 amidst rumors that he cheated on her with Abbie Cornish, with whom Ryan then carried on a relationship for many months. He's now single.

Chris Brown denies he is homophobic. Nevertheless, he says he is sorry for making crass sexual references in his Twitter feud with Raz B.

"Yesterday was an unfortunate lack in judgment sparked by public attacks from Raz B, who was bent on getting attention," Brown said. 

The anger-plagued singer adds, "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and frustrated I am over what transpired publicly on Twitter."

RAZZING RAZ B: Chris Brown sure did that, homophobia or not.

Brown, who was given a death threat by Ricky Romance (Raz's brother), says "I have learned not to condone acts of violence against anyone."

"Molestation and victims of such acts are not to be taken lightly; and for my comments I apologize - from the bottom of my heart."

After Raz B called him out for beating Rihanna, Chris fired off a crude reference to the alleged molestation of Raz by his former manager.

A source close to Brown stresses that it's questionable whether Raz was actually molested, not that it excuses Chris' comments.

Brown ends his apology with this: 

"I love all of my fans, gay and straight. I have friends from all walks of life and am committed, with God's help, to becoming a better person."

For his part, Raz has issued an apology of his own, saying, "I want to publicly apologize for my direct attacks done out of anger. This is about taking the right approach, so not only my story can be heard, but so someone learns something."

Raz B insists the Twitter feud was "not about receiving attention," as Brown insisted, but was about standing up for what he felt was "right."

Raz is not without blame here. He ignited the war, and after Brown reacted to Raz with racist and gay slurs, Raz hurled gay slurs of his own.

To his credit, he acknowledged that, adding, "Standing up for yourself does not mean yelling or victimizing others. I sincerely apologize."

"I was told that 'you can’t hear my message if I’m screaming.'”

As for the death threats Raz B's brother made towards Brown, Raz's rep says Ricky Romance's opinions and statement do not reflect how Raz feels, and that "Raz B cannot control his brother being protective over him."

Prosecutors in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case alluded to the defense Dr. Conrad Murray is likely to use in court - that the singer killed himself.

Not on purpose of course, but according to the legal team of the physician on trial for his death, Jackson killed himself with a fatal dose of Propofol.

L.A. County Deputy D.A. David Walgren says it's "clear the defense is operating under the theory that the victim, Michael Jackson, killed himself."

REASONABLE DOUBT? Is Murray's theory enough to beat the rap?

Murray claims he left Michael's bedroom the day he died (June 25, 2009) to go to the bathroom. MJ awoke and, in a moment of frustration, injected a massive dose of the anesthetic Murray was administering to treat his insomnia.

Walgren said of the Dr. Conrad Murray and his lawyers in court, "They don't want to say it, but that's the direction in which they are going."

In fact, they don't want to say anything. At the preliminary hearing, the defense plans on staying silent and letting the D.A. reveal its hand.

The defense believes there's no way this is not going to trial, and as such, will wait to see the prosecution outline its case before it decides how to proceed, using both the above theory and claims that other doctors over-medicated Michael.

Amber Portwood and Clinton Yunker have broken up, paving the way for her eventual reconciliation with baby daddy/punching bag Gary Shirley.

Just kidding ... about the second part.

The controversial Teen Mom star ended the "mature relationship" this week, and the mixed martial artist has wasted little time moving on.

PORKER: They seemed like such a good match, too ...

"I was out with some friends at Buffalo Wild Wings and recognized Amber's boyfriend Clinton, but he was all over some girl," a source said.

"He told me Amber broke up with him."

In true reality TV style, things got crazy when Gary Shirley, who's been criticized for egging Amber on, showed up to the same restaurant.

"Clinton's brother was there with him and he tried to pick a fight with Gary and friends," the source said, though no punches were thrown.

Police were called to the restaurant but no one was arrested.

Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley had planned a trip to New York City to celebrate New Year's Eve and the prospect of getting back together.

Those plans were nixed when a No Contact Order was given to Portwood in lieu of her domestic violence charges from the local D.A.'s office.

She pleaded not guilty, but the No Contact Order remains.

That order bars her from seeing or having any contact with Shirley. It remains to be seen if it will be lifted. As far as Clinton Yunker goes?

"Clinton didn't seem too torn up about the breakup," the source said. "In fact, he seemed ecstatic and was really having a good night!"

He's a global success now, but life was not always so sweet for Justin Bieber.

In an interview with The Early Show, the 16-year old recounts how he got his start in the business: "I just started posting videos online and then it just got to the point where they wanted to move me out to Atlanta and start recording songs."

A lot happened in between, of course, the sort of stuff about which one could make a movie.

JWoww promises plenty of drama when Jersey Shore returns for Season 3 next week. We're inclined to believe the fake-breasted, hot-headed star.

Frequent sparring partner Angelina Pivarnick may be gone, but according JWoww (Jenni Farley), tears and tirades are still to come on the MTV hit.

“There’s a whole lot of drama!” JWoww said, admitting that she is at the center of much of the action herself, thanks to her split with Tom Lippolis.

BUSTIN' OUT: JWoww is so ready to this season.

“You will see that I go through a bad breakup, and I find new love,” Jenni says. “Everyone finally gets to see my side. I come out of my shell.”

JWoww’s pissed off ex publicly accused her of cheating - and cheating her out of royalties - last summer, but the starlet is hardly heartbroken.

Instead, she's turning her misadventures in love into the third season of her hit show, along with a dating advice book to be released next year.

POSSIBLE HUGE SPOILER ALERT: We may know how Breaking Dawn concludes.

Because the final installment of The Twilight Saga will be broken into two parts, producers had to find a way to break up the films in a suspenseful manner. According to someone who read the script and then spoke to a Robert Pattinson fansite, writers have come up with a way to do just that.

The Volturi will confront the Cullens in a bloody, climactic scene that is described as follows:

Alice touches Aro. When she touches him, he ’sees’ what will happen if he continues his course. So, the first person whose head comes off is Carlisle. In the vision. Then everything goes to sh-t and all kinds of dying happens. And Bella and Edward kill Aro. Bella and Edward, they die too. All these other people die, too. Jane and her brother. Lots of deaths on both sides. Then the [Volturi] guy snaps out of it, says he’s sorry. Everybody makes up and lives happily ever after.

No fantasy sequence of this kind takes place in the book. However, as mentioned, the movie must come up with a way to conclude one half of Breaking Dawn and transition into the final movie.

Kelsey Grammer is ignoring the advice Kanye West offered all men in "Gold Digger."

Despite the fact that the actor might be on the hook for $50 million to ex-wife Camille, a friend tells Pop Eater he won't force new fiancee Kayte Walsh to sign a prenuptial agreement.

"Kelsey is deeply in love with Kayte and can't imagine spending the rest of his life with any other woman in the world," the source says. "He knows she's the one and wouldn't insult her by asking her to sign a pre-nup."

Perhaps Grammer really is in love after all. This insider certainly backs up the star's claim of that being the case.

"Kelsey doesn't care about the money. He never has. This is about being happy. Finding someone who is your best friend. He doesn't want to wait any longer."

For his latest music video, Kanye West receives a little help from his friends. Fortunately, Kim Kardashian isn't one of them.

Directed by Jake Nava, the video for "Monster" features Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, and Justin Vernon. Says Ross of the female rapper's role in the following single:

“That was the day Nicki Minaj earned my respect as a lyricist. Before that day she was a great entertainer, but for me to get in the studio with my own two eyes and see her write her verse, I knew that was gonna be one of the greatest verses of this year.”

For Scott Disick, that answer is reportedly $5,000. For producers of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, which debuts January 23 on E!, their response is: HA!

Sources close to the show say E! offered $1,000/episode in exchange for Mason to appear on the upcoming spin-off, but Disick "played hardball" and "bungled negotiations, so you won't see Mason at all."

Scott's greed, of course, will likely benefit to Mason in the long run.

But, don't worry folks, there are still more Kardashian-related programs on the way. Khloe and Lamar Odom have signed on for a new reality show. Thank goodness.

The Chris Brown-Raz B Twitter feud just turned violent.

To sum up, Raz B (a former member of the group B2K) called Brown out for beating up Rihanna. Chris responded with a scathing, homophobic remark.

Now Ricky Romance, Raz's brother, posted a video online threatening to put a "mother f**king pistol" in Brown's mouth if he sees him in L.A. Wow.

Undeterred, Chris Brown Twittered a response, "Ill be in LA REAL SOON!!!!!"

Not sure how Omarion was dragged into this, but he has yet to comment.

The repulsive remark Chris made that set Ricky off referred to Raz B claiming that he was molested by his band's male manager back in the day.

Still, death threats may be taking this one-upmanship a TAD far, no?

Raz B's rep says that "Raz wants to make sure everyone knows that what his brother says does not represent him. Those are just a brother's tendencies to protect him."

"Raz B has already spoken to his brother and told him to chill out."

Of course, Raz B is still going at it, Tweeting to Chris hours ago: "Thats your history! you cant run from it! #WomanBeater!!!!! #WomanBeater!!!!!"

MTV somehow managed to upstage the antics of Teen Mom firebrand Amber Portwood with a controversial new episode of 16 and Pregnant this week.

The special, entitled "No Easy Decision," chronicled the decision of Markai Durham, 19, to terminate her second pregnancy. Yes. She had an abortion.

Durham already has a daughter with her teenage boyfriend, and the couple concluded, sadly, that they simply couldn't afford to raise another child.

While Entertainment Weekly called the MTV reality show a "vivid, unsparing look" at a "harrowing decision," Fox News described the special as "controversial."

According to the New York Post, anti-abortion activists railed against the "one-sided portrayal" of the issue, saying "the pro-life issue will simply get tackled."

For her part, Markai Durham is standing by her decision saying, "I get sad from time to time thinking about it, but then everything happens for a reason."

A post on Durham's Facebook fan page sought to quell negativity as well:

"Let me say this again: If you DONT like Markai or her decision. UNLIKE the page, its simple. Markai feels enough pain for making her choice, she DOESNT need to be ridiculed for it. Shes been honest with you when she could have hid it."

"Have some respect or leave! Seriously there are plenty of pages "talking (expletive)" so go there. Dont waste your time, Im just going to ban you."

Chris Brown may want to put down the Blackberry. Dude is at it again with the anger issues, unloading on Raz B in an offensive Twitter feud.

It all started, of course, comments about Rihanna.

Brown got into it with the former member of the R&B group B2K after Raz Tweeted at Brown, "Im just sittin here Thinkin how can n**gas like [Eric Benet] and [Chris Brown] disrespect women as Intelligent as Halle Berry, Rihanna."

Brown promptly lashed back in homophobic fashion, writing, "n**ga you want attention! Grow up n**ga!!! Dick in da booty ass lil boy."

Chris is clearly referring to allegations Raz B had made a while back in which he claims he was molested by his band's male manager.

Brown felt the wrath, but continued razzing Raz, then tried to explain himself, writing "I'm not homophobic! He's just disrespectful!!!"

He denied a second time that he is homophobic and wrote, "i love all my gay fans and this immature act is not targeted at you!!!!"
