PC Mann, the officer who pulled Katie over, told the court, “I saw a person who I know to be Katie Price in the driver’s position and in her right hand she had what appeared to be a mobile phone.”

“I believe she said that she wasn't using her mobile and that she was using perfume. She leaned back into the back of the cab and pulled a large bottle of perfume out of a large zip bag. I said that wasn’t the item I had seen. She got her phone out of the same bag and showed me that and said, “Was it that?”

“I couldn’t recall whether that was the same one I had seen. It had coloured gemstones on it. That’s not what I had seen in her hand.”

He then cautioned Katie and reported her for using a mobile phone while driving and driving without due care and attention, before allowing her on her way. The case continues....

Following the success of his fragrance, Unconditional, which was the top selling celebrity perfume in 2009, Peter Andre attended a photocall in London this morning for the launch of his brand new ladies scent, Mysterious Girl.

The glamorous X Factor winner spent the evening rubbing shoulders with fashionistas including Heidi Klum and Alessandra Ambrosio, while other notable guests included Victoria Silvstedt, Hofit Golan and Roberto Cavalli.

“Need help! Can everyone try and draw a pepper pot, I’m going to have it tattooed on my wrist, I want it quite cute looking!.... Draw them twitpic them to me! And I will get it tattooed.”

The biggest winners of the night were Eastenders, with an impressive six awards, including Best Actress, Sexiest Male, Best Newcomer, Best Wedding, Best Exit and finally the biggest award of the night, Best Soap.

The prize for the worst dressed soap star goes to Hollyoaks actress Bronagh Waugh, who was not only wearing a hideous jumpsuit, but also had her cleavage on display, and not in a good way - There’s always one isn’t there?!

Aside from various Tweets about random TV shows and the odd dig at her ex – “It’s disgusting when a baby’s dad won’t see his child because he doesn’t want to drive to pick him up” – Chanelle has kept her head down and got stuck into motherhood.

And things are clearly going well because in the last few days the former Big Brother contestant has posted a series of pictures of her beautiful baby Blakely, along with gushing messages about how proud she is of her son. Aw.

In fact Kelly was so peed off she vented her frustration on Twitter:

“The best thing to happen to Dannii’s career was that my mother hated her she needs to shut her mouth and concentrate on motherhood,” Kelly fumed before adding, “I will be the first one to admit that my mother did not play her cards right when it came to Dannii but trust me when I say Dannii is the devil” – Harsh!

Well in the upcoming issue of X magazine Dannii has hit back saying:

“I’m not a liar, there were a lot of witnesses. The thing is, it’s such a small part of my life. I don’t want to get into a slanging match with anyone.”

And when asked about the ‘devil tweet’ Dannii claims it made her giggle.

Speaking ahead of the release of his debut single, from the album Wide Awake, Joe sort of confirmed that he’s going to be performing Ambitions on the X Factor when the live shows start next month.

He said, “I’ll be going on the first week, I think” and he then added, “It will be very surreal and I’m excited and I’m nervous, but I kind of buzz off that nervous feeling and the pressure, so it will be really exciting.”

Joe’s single is released 10th October.

The latest twist in tale is that Becks – pictured at the David Beckham Academy at Marvin Lee Stadium in Trinidad on Saturday – has written a letter to the publisher of In Touch magazine demanding to know why they published a story about his personal life with no proof to back it up.

“Attention is now being focused on the magazine publishers as to why they maliciously went ahead with this article, knowing it was based on lies,” revealed a source.

But the hooker at the centre of the story is still standing by her claims and yesterday her management team said:

“Irma stands by her previous statements. Any lawsuit against her is a publicity stunt and without merit.

“Any attorney who brings an action against her should be prepared to face sanctions and pay all legal costs because they will lose.”

Wow, fighting talk, but we still know who our money’s on...

Earlier on today we caught up with the Bleeding Love songstress arriving at the Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show at Milan Fashion Week.

And while we’re on the subject of Leona, we hear from a well-placed source that her relationship with German dancer Dennis Jauch is hotting up and a source close to the couple revealed:

“They are crazy about each other. Leona is so happy when she is with Dennis. He makes her laugh and feel good and Dennis thinks the world of her. Things have become serious between them very quickly.”

And it shows, as Leona was practically glowing with happiness when we spotted her a short while ago.

Mariah Carey lived up to her reputation as the ultimate diva when she took a tumble on stage in Singapore last night.

When the singer lost her footing she styled it out and gracefully dropped to the floor, before calling out for an assistant to come and remove her shoes. Nice.

So without further ado allow us to introduce you to mini Aston, ickle JB, weeny Marvin and teeny tiny Oritse. Aw, aren’t they cute?

A spokesman for the company that designed the figures said:

In case you missed it (as if!) the final 32 X Factor acts heading to the judges houses were revealed last night.

Unlike previous years where 6 acts go through to the penultimate stage, this year 8 acts from each category have gone through as Simon thought this would make it fairer seeing as Cheryl and Dannii weren’t around to have their say.

The Girls category is going to be mentored by Cheryl and it includes Treyc Cohen, Keri Arrindell, Rebecca Ferguson, Anastacia Baker, Cher Lloyd, Gamu Nhengu, Katie Waisse and Raquel Thomas.

Next Dannii Minogue's category is the Boys, which had it’s age limit raised from 25 to 28 to ensure the competition was as strong as possible, includes Paije Richardson, Tom Richards, Karl Brown, Marlon McKenzie, Nicolo Festa, John Wilding, Aiden Grimshaw and the bookies favourite Matt Cardle, who stunned bootcamp with his emotional performance.

So, what’s left? Oh the Over’s and the Groups, but does anyone care about them? Well if you do, Simon’s got the groups and Louis got lumbered with the Over’s.

Justin Vanderhyde, John Adeleye, Mary Byrne, Stephen Hunter, Storm Lee, Yull Miguel, Elesha Moses and Wagner Carrilho make up Louis’ category, while Twem, FYD, The Reason, Hustle, Diva Fever, Princes & Rogues, Bell Amie and 1 Direction will be mentored by Simon in the groups category.

While Eva looked stunning in a full-length red gown and Pammy looked ridiculous wearing sunglasses on the red-carpet, there was one guest who caught everybody’s attention and that was Kelly Osbourne, who is getting slimmer and slimmer every time we see her.

If she carries on at this rate she’ll disappear in a puff of smoke soon...

Fortunately for the other two, you know the ones that aren’t Aston or Marvin, it means they can pretty much do whatever they desire and we don’t take much notice.

Big Brother rejects Rex Newmark, Siavash Sabbaghpour, Darnell Swallow, Mohamed Mohamed, Kathreya Kasisopa and Gerry Stergiopoulos also wangled an invite – Random eh?

“I managed four-and-a-half stone last time and this time I’m going for five” she said recently, almost repeating us word for word.

“I’ve been getting cravings for cheese like last time but my new favourite food is fudge. I can’t get enough of it. I’ve been buying all the stock at my local news-agent’s.”

Well we suppose there’s no excuse quite as good as the old “eating for two” one is there? And beside isn’t it nice hearing a celebrity talking about shoving food down their gullet for once?
