When Sayid and Shannon on the Lost series finale, it was touching. Sadly, for star Naveen Andrews, his life is not imitating art on the romantic front.

Andrews and his girlfriend of 12 years, actress Barbara Hershey, have called it quits. His manager says the amicable split happened six months ago.

Hershey, 62, and Andrews, 41, met back in 1998 on a film set. Hershey is perhaps best known for her roles in Beaches and Hannah and Her Sisters.

The two briefly separated in 2005, during which Naveen fathered a son, Naveen Joshua, with another woman (he was granted custody in 2009).

We wish them both the best in this difficult time.

The not entirely shocking break-up of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt has yet to generate a formal response - or even a trademark Tweet - from the latter.

Some decry the news as another PR stunt, but TMZ broke the story citing close sources, including Heidi's own rep, saying things had been crumbling of late.

Stunt or not, it looks like she's moving on.

"This is going to be the best summer of my life!!!!" Heidi Tweeted, and an old pal / The Hills co-star claims the 'Tag's summer plans are already in place.

"Heidi and I are moving into a Malibu beach house this summer," said Jen Bunney, who adds that she and Heidi Montag will be filming a new reality show.

“We're really excited to do girly things and show people who we really are, that we're really fun, sweet and loyal girls." So loyal you ditch your husband?

Jen Bunney added that Speidi are not "legally" separated, but "she is moving in with me. It's just her being able to have some freedom from marriage."

Sounds like a separation to us ... we think. Even though Heidi recently proclaimed she has no friends, it looks like she has at least one. A good one, too.

“Our show is going to focus on our friendship, getting through things with each other like marriage stuff and boyfriend stuff," adds the Bunney, rivetingly.

Friday, Heidi's rep said she was moving out "due to all the fake bad press that Spencer Pratt controls" and "wants to focus on her acting career" alone.

Probably for the best. Things were getting bad.

The couple hired ex-Marines to guard their L.A. home, spent $400,000 on healing crystals and even called the cops on Heidi's mom, Darlene Egelhoff.

Whose side are you on?

Did Lindsay Lohan actually take a hint and realize she needs to avoid the menagerie of enablers, leeches, hangers-on and overall low lives that surround her?

If so, she owes her ankle bracelet a big thank you.

The troubled star finally realized she needs to avoid "those people," i.e. the ones creating huge temptation, according to confidants. Not a moment too soon.

Lindsay is spending the long weekend with a close friend by the beach in Venice, Calif. Why? "She needs to get away from that scene ... and she knows it."

Yeah, we've heard that before - but here's hoping.

For Lohan, it's her own friends as much as the clubs that create the danger of relapse - and thanks to a hard-ass judge, that relapse would mean jail now.

"The people who hang around her are such moochers, and bad energy," says one friend. "She needs to cut them out and I think she's starting to realize."

As for what Lindsay Lohan is doing? Sleeping, shopping, watching TV and movies. Interestingly, more than one person says she desperately needs sleep.

Riding the rails for months at a time will do that.

People close to her say it's definitely too early to tell, but Lindsay has at least temporarily turned a corner and is healthier than she's been "in a long time."

Dennis Hopper wanted badly to divorce wife Victoria and accused her of wanting him dead. Now that he is, will she inherit the Hollywood iconoclast's money?

The 74-year-old actor may have died peacefully over the weekend, but the war over his estate may be anything but, thanks to his marrying Victoria Hopper.

More specifically, thanks to his inability to divorce her in time.

Dennis had been desperately trying to end the marriage - he filed for divorce in January - but time ran out and the separation was not final when he passed.

Under their prenup, Victoria gets 25 percent of Dennis' fortune and a $250,000 life insurance payout - if they were married and living together when he died.

Dennis did not have good things to say about Victoria Hopper by the end.

That second part is critical because Victoria has been living in a separate house ... on the same property as Dennis. The definition of a legal gray area.

Victoria Hopper will surely argue that since she was on the property, she was indeed living with Dennis, and is thus entitled to the big financial payout.

Dennis' high powered attorney Joe Mannis would not be surprised in the least, saying "She said she would challenge it, and I fully expect her to do so."

His side could counter that Victoria Hopper tried to have him killed ... a minor hurdle. Victoria's alleged methods of offing Dennis never did come to light.

The probate battle over the estate should begin any day now.

Celine Dion's heart will go on. Now her DNA will as well. 

The singer's dream to expand her family has finally come true, as the 42-year-old became pregnant with twins after undergoing her sixth in-vitro fertilization bid.

She sadly had a miscarriage late last year, but she also turned to acupuncture to improve her chances of a pregnancy, her rep confirms. Looks like it worked

Dion, mom to 9-year-old son René-Charles, is 14 weeks along. She will find out the gender next month. "We're ecstatic," her husband/manager René Angelil said.

"Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing!"

In a Billboard cover story, Miley Cyrus sounds both mature and cocky.

First, she admits that she's come a long way since she auditioned for Hannah Montana at the age of 12:

"I'm just at a certain place where I've changed a lot as a person. I've grown up a lot, which everyone does."

That's certainly true, but not everyone talks about her music as if it's full of heart, soul and profound meaning that simply can't be found in the pop world. Check out how Cyrus describes her upcoming album:

LeAnn Rimes is straight hating on her boyfriend's wife. Don't we all?

A source close to Rimes' soon-to-be divorced lover, Eddie Cibrian, says that Rimes' lawyers sent a cease and desist letter to his estranged wife Brandi Glanville.

The reason? Allegations of slander. A lawsuit may follow imminently.

Rimes' claims stem from before Eddie and Brandi even split. Amid rumors of Rimes' affair with her husband, she told the press LeAnn was stalking Eddie Cibrian.

Of course, the source explains, Brandi Glanville was unaware of the Lifetime movie co-stars' affair, and only made that statement before Cibrian broke the news.

Despite making no secret of being royally pissed at Eddie Cibrian dumping her for LeAnn Rimes (right), Brandi Glanville (right) denies slanderous wrongdoing.

"Brandi has been nothing but nice to LeAnn," says a source. "She let her kids go to Mexico with them, and is happy they like her. If they didn't, she would be upset."

Things have been relatively quiet on the Rimes-Cibrian-Glanville front recently, which makes news of Rimes' out-of-the-blue cease and desist letter more shocking.

Rimes' camp says it came "after months of Brandi speaking about LeAnn in the press and telling lies. This is something she felt was necessary to protect herself."

Rep for both Rimes and Glanville had "no comment" on this, but sources close to the latter say her attorneys plan on responding to the letter in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Glanville and Cibrian's divorce is getting close to being official. We just hope there are no more tire slashing rampages from Brandi in the meantime.

She's already the poster child for infidelity. Why shouldn't Michelle "Bombshell" McGee make money off that image and help sell ... extramarital affairs?

The original Jesse James mistress has struck a lucrative deal to promote a website dedicated to people having affairs ... and she will be plugging naked.

And we thought we'd heard everything.

Michelle "Bombshell" McGee arrived in Toronto this weekend to shoot commercials for AshleyMadison.com, which unites married cheaters everywhere.

Appropriately, the shoot is at a strip club. That was her job before she became a professional mistress, and the ads will feature Michelle McGee nude.

Somehow, this is supposed to encourage having an affair?

No word if Michelle is still in talks to star on Celebrity Cheaters with Jamie Jungers, one of Tiger Woods' harem of waitresses, models and porn stars.

Bombshell will make about $500 per hour for the shoot, but sources say that she'll also make a percentage of all new traffic she brings in for the site.

Hey, if Michelle has taught us anything - with her actions and her insane, unsolicited comments every effing day - it's that men will spread their seed.

Monogamy, schmonogamy. Guys are gonna do what (and who) they're gonna do, it's just how they're made. Might as well capitalize on that action.

Just hours after Gary Coleman passed away, his wife of almost three years, Shannon Price, acknowledged her late husband's fan support in a moving statement.

In a press conference, Shannon's brother, Shawn Price, read a note on her behalf:

"We are very grateful for all the wonderful support everyone has been extending to Gary's family," the statement began. "Thousands of emails have poured in to the hospital. It's been comforting to the family to know how beloved he still is."

On Wednesday, Coleman, who was born with a congenital kidney disease that caused him to only grow to only 4-foot-8, suffered a brain hemorrhage after he injured his head following a fall in the Utah home he shared with Shannon.

Gary slipped into a coma Thursday, and passed away at approximately 12:05 p.m. in Provo, Utah, surrounded by his wife and other family members. The Diff'rent Strokes actor, who battled health and personal problems throughout life, was 42.

Coleman and Shannon Price had some domestic squabbles and brushes with the law, but worked things out and appeared happy in their marriage of late.

Thank you so much for all that you guys have done and for the support and prayers that you guys have given us," Shannon's statement concluded.

It's been almost a year since Michael Jackson's death (June 25) and the doctor charged with involuntary manslaughter as a result continues to make news.

This time for different reasons than you might expect, though.

Dr. Conrad Murray will visit Michael Jackson on or around the first anniversary of the star's death, sources report - and he has done so many times already.

Those connected with the embattled doctor say that despite his expected, controversial defense - that Michael Jackson killed himself - Dr. Murray is torn up.

He remains deeply upset by MJ's death and feels the anniversary is an important milestone. He is a doctor, so it shouldn't be too surprising, yet in a way it is.

While denying wrongdoing and to an extent blaming the victim in this case (who happens to be a global entertainment icon), he still grieves for the fallen star.

Dr. Murray has visited the Forest Lawn mausoleum where Jackson is entombed a number of times, avoiding attention by going early or during off-hours.

Just five weeks after suffering a brain hemorrhage, Bret Michaels returned to the stage last night in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Incredibly, this event itself was NOT the most surprising development of the evening! But, first, a quick recap of the concert:

Limping slighty, Bret told the 1,400-person crowd at the Hard Rock Casino:  "I've got a little bitty hitch in my left giddy up, but I think we'll be all right. It's an awesome feeling. I'm glad to be here."

He then played a set that included former Poison hits such as "Talk Dirty to Me, "Unskinny Bop" and "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," the same single he sang with Casey James on the American Idol finale.

For Bret Michaels: First, Celebrity Apprentice. Next, American Idol?!?

Prior to one song, he shocked the crowd and announced: "I can't say this is true yet, cause I don't know. Next year they asked me to possibly be the judge on American Idol."

A source close to Michael confirmed Bret is "in the running to replace Simon," while an audience member said "I figured he'd be wobbly and sitting on a stool. But he was energetic, running around the stage with his guitar."

So if the singer really is on his way to recovery, that begs the question: Would he be a good replacement for Simon Cowell?

First, Gary Coleman. Now, Dennis Hopper.

A day after the former sitcom star passed away, this veteran actor lost his battle with cancer. He was 74.

Hopper died early Saturday morning at his house Venice, California, surrounded by family and friends. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in October 2009.

The two-time Oscar nominee starred in such classic films as Easy Rider, Hoosiers, Speed and Apocalypse Now. Sadly, his personal life overshadowed his professional life during his last few months alive.

Earlier this spring, Hopper's fifth wife, Victoria, was accused of trying to have the actor killed.

Our thoughts go out to his loved ones.

Look, Kristen Stewart. It's refreshing to find a humble celebrity that doesn't desire fame or attention. We understand you feel that way.

But show business has also provided you with millions of dollars, the chance to make a living out of your dream and a gorgeous boyfriend. You simply must calm down a bit.

This message needs to be said because the Twilight Saga actress has gone a step too far her in anti-fame agenda. In a new interview, she compares the experience of being photographed to a rape. Yes, a rape:

"I feel like I'm looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I can't handle it. I never expected that this would be my life."

Stewart continued to dig her hole deeper:

"What you don't see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction. All you see is an actor or a celebrity lit up... Your little persona is made up of all the places that people have seen you and what has been said about you.

And usually the places that I am are so overwhelming in the moment and fleeting for me - like, one second where I've said something stupid, that's me, forever."

It really is nice to see a young star go the anti-Kim Kardashian route and shun the spotlight. But if fame is really this awful for you, K Stew, get out of the business or ligten up a bit. You can't have it both ways.

Heidi Montag has separated from Spencer Pratt, and from all indications, it's not the publicity stunt you probably assumed it was when you read the headline.

"Heidi is looking to move out due to all the fake bad press that Spencer controls," her rep told TMZ. "She's tired of it and wants to focus on her acting career."

Reports say Heidi Montag is looking for a new place to live in Malibu.

Things have grown particularly tense and erratic for Speidi lately, even by The Hills stars' exalted standards, culminating in Spencer calling the cops on her mom.

That was just one incident in a relationship defined by turmoil. Says a friend of Heidi's on the building tension between them: "It wasn't just a sudden thing."

Other sources close to the pair say Heidi Montag is pulling the plug on her marriage primarily because Spencer Pratt has taken away her friends and family.

Well, yeah. Four years late on that realization, H?

Heidi has been complaining bitterly that Spencer is so controlling he's isolated her from all those close to her. But the final straw came earlier this month.

That's when Spencer called the cops on Darlene Egelhoff, Heidi's mom, when she arrived at their house. Heidi stood by her husband at first ... no longer.

Meanwhile, Montag wants to break into acting but says people in Hollywood don't want to work with her because she has "a loose cannon of a husband."

She and a friend are renting a beach house for now. As Heidi herself puts it, "I want more girl time. This is going to be the best summer of my life!!!!!!"

She also Tweeted earlier in the week, before reports of the pair's split surfaced: "I am not Heidi Pratt, I am Heidi Montag." So telling. So deep. So profound.

Spencer has yet to comment, which is extremely unusual for him. Dude hasn't even Tweeted since May 25! But we gotta ask ... whose side are you on?

New York Yankees stars and Hollywood celebrities seem to fit nicely.

We're not talking about A-Rod or Derek Jeter either. Nick Swisher is set to head to the altar with actress Joanna Garcia, according to the N.Y. Daily News!

This is the second engagement for the 30-year-old Privileged star, who was previously linked to Trace Ayala, and appeared on Gossip Girl this past season.

Joanna Garcia will star in ABC's comedy Better Together next fall.

Nick Swisher confirmed the news to reporters Friday, just before hitting a two-run shot in Yankees' 8-2 rout of the visiting Indians. Talk about a good day!

Garcia and Swisher have reportedly been dating since last fall. Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly are now on the clock. A-Rod and Cameron Diaz? Just grinding.

Hailey Glassman says her ex-boyfriend, Jon Gosselin, staged the break-in of his own apartment last winter to frame her and/or collect insurance money.

The police must agree, at least in part - she's off the hook.

Hailey is no longer a suspect in the bizarre ransacking of Jon's New York City pad, which came around the same time he began dating Morgan Christie.

"The NYPD informed us that Hailey is no longer a person of interest in the breakin. She feels that the truth has finally come out and the cloud that has been hanging over her head had finally lifted," her lawyer Stephanie Ovadia told Radar Online.

OMG: Did Jon Gosselin slice and dice his own crap?

The case is closed, a source close to the investgation confirmed. So who did it? An enraged Hailey Glassman thinks she knows the answer to that one.

Hailey, who supposedly signed a note left at the scene (not true) has a theory that the former reality star staged it in order to claim insurance money.

"Stubby tried to frame me N set me up to go to jail!" she Twittered, referring to his lack of manhood. "He ruined his own things 2 claim insurance $!"

She also says Jon owes her a lot of money. Which is likely true, who are we kidding. He has little to no credibility. If nothing else, dude is a shady character.

With a two-inch package supposedly.

Former child star and actor Gary Coleman of Diff'rent Strokes fame has died. He was 42. He was taken off life support earlier today and passed away.

The diminutive Coleman passed away at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo after suffering a brain hemorrhage and losing consciousness.

A resident of Santaquin, Utah, Coleman had been hospitalized Wednesday and lost consciousness the next day. He was on life support until this afternoon.

Born with failed kidneys, Coleman had undergone two transplants by age 14 and his growth was permanently stunted by the side effects of dialysis.

He was a precocious, chubby-cheeked Coleman was 10 when Diff'rent Strokes debuted on NBC in 1978. The popular show lasted for eight seasons.

The scene-stealing Gary quickly became a pop-culture icon, whose recurring line "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?" became a national catchphrase.

At the height of his TV series success, Coleman reportedly earned $64,000 per week and is said to have made some $18 million during his heyday.

His acting career as an adult fell far short of his glory days, however, with only occasional guest appearances and small roles in films and TV movies.

Coleman has had encounters with the law in recent years, including just this February, when he accepted a plea deal on domestic violence charges.

That stemmed from an incident with wife Shannon Price, who took him off life support today. Gary's health problems also escalated in recent years.

Hopefully he is now at peace. Our condolences to Gary Coleman's family, friends and fans in this difficult time. He will be remembered and missed.

Charlie Sheen is preparing to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge stemming from his Christmas assault on wife Brooke Mueller - but will he go to jail?

As part of a plea deal with the Colorado District Attorney's office, Charlie may be facing as many as 45 days in the slammer in Aspen's Pitkin County Jail.

In exchange for Sheen's plea, a felony menacing charge will be dropped.

Sheen's next court appearance is set for June 7, where his plea deal can be entered and his trial in the case (currently set for July 21) therefor canceled.

As for what his punishment will be, sources connected with the case say the D.A. in Aspen and Charlie's lawyers have hammered out four scenarios ...

Charlie Sheen's assault on Brooke Mueller will result in a legal reprimand next week. But the actor is reportedly unsure which of the below scenarios he is willing to accept.

1. Charlie pleads guilty to a misdemeanor and serve 30 days in jail. He enters the plea June 7 and immediately begins serving time. With good behavior, it could truncate to 17 days. After that stint, the case is closed. No probation.
2. Charlie pleads guilty to a misdemeanor and receives no jail time, but is placed on two years probation. Sounds great, but if the star slips up, the judge could throw the book at him and he could be facing far more than 30 days in jail.
3. Charlie receives "deferred prosecution," i.e. the case will not go forward but the Two and a Half Men star must agree to various conditions, like not breaking the law. After a certain period of compliance, the matter would be expunged.
4. Go to trial. Sheen is reportedly upset at the Tito Ortiz case, in which the UFC star was not prosecuted, even after allegations similar to those made against Sheen. This would be a huge roll of the dice, because losing ensures jail time.

It's all in his hands at this point, so stay tuned.

The manager of Gary Coleman is asking for our "thoughts and prayers" as the former child star, now 42, is on life support after suffering a brain hemorrhage.

He suffered the injury in his Utah home on Wednesday. Coleman was hospitalized for treatment, his manager John Alcantar said, and was in critical condition.

Things took a turn for the worse, though, when Coleman was transferred to the ICU at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for further tests and treatment:

"As of May 27, Mr. Coleman was conscious and lucid. By early afternoon, Mr. Coleman was slipping in and out of consciousness and his condition worsened.

"We are very saddened to announce that since mid-afternoon, Mountain Time, on May 27, 2010, Mr. Coleman has been unconscious and on life support."

Alcantar says that despite Coleman's recent history of health problems and personal issues, "he always has had fond memories of being an entertainer."

"He appreciates his fans for all their support. At this critical moment, we can only ask for thoughts and prayers for Gary to make a speedy, full recovery."

If it's any consolation, Bret Michaels also suffered a brain hemorrhage and bounced back from similarly long odds. Here's hoping Coleman can do the same.

At this point, it's looking like a matter of when, not if Tiger Woods gets divorced from wife Elin. But until that happens, his handlers want him under lock and key.

According to reports, the golfer's legal team told him he won't be able to date until the split is completely finalized. The reason? Well, it's kind of obvious, right?

Says a source close to the situation:

"Elin's building a character case [based on serial philandering]. Elin's team is watching Tiger's every move. She wants more money than Michael Jordan's ex got."

Jordan's ex-wife reportedly received $168 million. Elin is said to want $750 million (!) which may be a stretch, but even if she gets a quarter of that ... wow.

Tiger's reaction to being barred from dating was likely similar.

She certainly has enough material on Tiger to make a compelling case as it is. If he were caught mauling Joslyn James or that Elin Woods look-alike, though? Wow.

As for custody of the couple's two small children?

"They'll share it, but she wants the ability to take them to Sweden whenever she wants," says the insider. Tiger wants the right to object in court - here or abroad.

Things are already getting ugly, too. His other main hangup? He wants this confidential - now and 'til the end of time. As in no interviews or books by Elin. Ever.

She's balking at that so far. Stay tuned ...

It has now been a year since the marriage of Kate and Jon Gosselin ended.

The weeks prior to the tearful, on-air confessionals confirming the split (and garnering record ratings) on Jon & Kate Plus 8 were a train wreck of epic proportions.

Rumors of Jon nailing his pal Deanna Hummel were the first to surface. Then Kate and Steve Neild. Then Jon and Hailey Glassman, Stephanie Santoro, and so on.

As their family crumbled under the microscope of celebrity gossip magazines and websites, Kate acknowledges there were difficult moments for their eight kids.

"[Nine-year-old daughter Cara] was upset with me because I forgot to sign them up for something at school," Kate tells People in its new cover story this week.

"I said, 'Cara, I had a really rough year. This is a new year. You've got to give me that. Let's start over.' So I've really worked to keep my word with them."

In general, Kate says, her children – twins Cara and Mady and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Leah, Aaden, Collin and Joel – have weathered the storm well.

"They're just amazing, resilient, loving kids."

The reality TV mom and her children will return to TLC in a new, revamped Kate Plus 8, airing June 6. The family recently filmed the show in Orlando, Fla.

There, they also celebrated the sextuplets' sixth birthday. Back home, they also got to see dad ... and were introduced to Jon's new girlfriend Ellen Ross.

Poor kids. Hang in there, y'all.

Paris Hilton has taken a break from harassing Doug Reinhardt with phone calls to focus on a slightly more important task:

Supporting American troops.

The socialite showed up in New York City this week at "Swinging Salute to Our Troops," an event sponsored by the USO. Even though one officer below didn't seem excited to pose with Paris, it's the thought that counts. Gotta give her props for the effort.

Earlier this spring, Kim Kardashian was also honored by the troops. What's with these guys and former sex tape stars?

We guess that answer is obvious, huh? They are still warm-blooded males, after all. They may have enormous hearts and courage that the average individual can scarcely comprehend - but they also have penises.

Talk about typecasting. Lindsay Lohan landed a role in which she has to look trashy, dress in next to nothing and lie flat on her back - pretty much her entire skill set!

Amazingly, the photos below weren't taken during a typical night out on the Hollywood club scene, but for posters promoting her upcoming porn star biopic Inferno.

Lohan plays Linda Lovelace, the late porno legend famous for her role in Deep Throat. The pics used in the posters below were taken by photographer Tyler Shields.

We thought Lindsay looked like she was ready for Cinemax in previous photos Shields took of her. Who would have guessed that wasn't even that far off the mark.

Hopefully Lohan's ankle bracelet won't get in the way of the many tricky maneuvers she likely must perform as part of this rigorous role. That would be a shame.

Miley Cyrus is about to make her primetime, network television debut.

Just a few days before her new album is released on June 22, ABC will air a one-hour special titled Miley Cyrus: Live from London.

It will be centered around footage from the singer's concert at O2 Arena in England, which was part of her Wonder World Tour. According to an ABC press release:

The program captures how Miley, who has grown up in the public eye, has grown as an artist, and reveals her natural progression and sophistication. The concert is gleaned from the full-length concert that will be available for sale June 22 on the deluxe version of Miley’s album.

Look for Cyrus to perform some of her biggest hits during the program, such as “Seven Things,” “Party in the USA” and “The Climb.”

We're sure Miley will explain to the world why she can't be tamed, as well.
