A New York City medical examiner has determined the cause of death for Adam Goldstein, who was found dead in his apartment in late August, to be an accidental overdose.

According to the medical examiner, the technical reason DJ AM passed away was due to "acute intoxication, caused by the combined effects of so many drugs in his system. These included: cocaine, oxycodone, Vicodin, Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole.

The manner of death is listed on the official report as "accident (substance abuse)."

Cranking out new episodes of her hit CW show, Taylor Momsen was spotted on the set of “Gossip Girl” earlier today (September 29).

As of November 2, it will be titled Kate Plus 8.

"Given Jon's recent antics, there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting Dad, not while all this other crap was going on," a source told People.

After Jon and Kate announced plans to separate in June, the series took a six-week hiatus and returned on August 3 to just 4.3 million viewers. Since then, Jon has gone public with his relationship with Hailey Glassman and said he despises his ex-wife.

"Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family," TLC president Eileen O’Neill said in a statement. "The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it; we feel that Kate’s journey really resonates with our viewers."

Moreover, O'Neill implies, Jon Gosselin is a giant douchebag.

The last time Kelly Osbourne performed on Dancing With The Stars (the US version of Strictly Come Dancing), judges on the programme described her as one of the best dancers of the evening.

However when the former reality star took to the dancefloor for the second time last night, judges felt sorely disappointed when Kelly slipped up and a made a few stupid errors. Oh well, let’s hope she can do a little better next time….

A few days ago, in front of thousands of audience members, Miley Cyrus pretended to get railed from behind on stage.

The pop icon will continue this sexual theme in a few months, as the rumors of a cameo in the May 2010 Sex and the City sequel have been confirmed by GossipCop.com.

According to that website, Cyrus appears in one scene, donning the same outfit to a red carpet event as Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha.

In the current script, Mario Cantone’s Anthony notices the coincidence and exclaims: “Mother of God:  She is wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana.”

Tragically passing away over the summer, coroner’s have ruled that Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein’s death was an accident.

The New York Medical Examiner told Us magazine that Goldstein passed due to substance abuse leading to “acute intoxication”.

Making changes as ratings continue to decrease, TLC has changed the name of “Jon and Kate Plus 8” to “Kate Plus Eight” beginning November 2.

Dropping Jon from the spotlight, the show will follow document the tribulations of a single mother while also following the kids.

Thank goodness for the return of The Hills to MTV tonight.

Kicking off the work week, Kate Gosselin and her children were spotted shooting scenes for their reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8” at ABC Dance Supplies in Reading, Pennsylvania yesterday (September 28).

And the blonde-haired mother-of-eight has revealed that, along with her marriage, the TLC show could be coming to an end.

First Lady Michelle Obama is featured in the latest issue of Prevention, dishing on her diet and her work out routine.

"I love French fries, I like a good burger, and I like pie. And that's okay. I would be depressed if I felt I could never eat the things that I love," Obama says, raving about the White House's cooking staff.

She adds that she can treat herself to such fare because she wakes up at 4:30 a.m. each morning to exercise. The workouts vary between Pilates, cardio, stretching, and weights.

"I enjoy arm exercises because you can see what it's hitting," she said, citing the impressive biceps that have made such headlines over the last few months.

From fashion to dieting, there's little Michelle Obama is not an expert on.

Ironically, while her husband receives rebukes from some liberals for being too moderate, Michelle singles out moderation as the key to any healthy diet.

"I don't want my girls to be obsessed about food," she said. "We don't have a 'no junk food' rule – I just want them to think about their choices. When my older daughter asks, 'Can I have pie?' I'll say, 'Did you have it yesterday? Well, what do you think?' And she'll come to the conclusion that, 'You know, you're right, I shouldn't eat pie every night.'"

Wow. Exercise and a balanced diet? What a novel concept for weight loss! Call us crazy, but Michelle Obama might be a better role model in this area than Kim Kardashian.

The hammer might finally come down on Tom DeLay this week, as the disgraced politician earned the lowest score last night on Dancing with the Stars.

If there's one thing Adam Lambert has proven over the last few months, it's that he's his own man.

He'll come out of the closet on his own time, he'll create his own versions of classic songs and no one will tell him otherwise. It's an admirable quality.

In a recent interview, the singer said the same creative freedom will apply to his debut album. Record label 19 Entertainment has not put any restrictions on the type of CD he wants to make.

"I think there's a little bit of a misconception out in the public that people that come out of American Idol are puppetted and kind of controlled," Adam told E! News. "That hasn't been my experience one bit. They've been completely supportive and collaborative with me and all the powers that be are really trying to facilitate my artistic vision."

How many copies of Adam Lambert's debut album will you purchase?

Of the CD - which hits stores in less than two months! - Lambert said he's working with top producers such as Linda Perry and Ryan Tedder. He's also penning his own singles.

"I really feel I've gotten to inject a lot of this music on the album with my own personal vocal stylings and my own lyrical content. A lot of it talks about stuff I really care about and that I find interesting, so that feels really good."

Of course, no interview would be complete without asking Adam for his feelings on new judge Ellen DeGeneres. His reply:

"She's obviously a fan of the show, and she's been in the entertainment industry for a long time... I think she'll provide a lot of great insight and really speak for the people that watch the show that aren't all that well versed in the music industry and in music."

He’s always up for a publicity opportunity, and yesterday (September 28) Brody Jenner was spotted arriving at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City.

The “Hills” hunk was in the house for a very special appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” and dressed to impress in a dapper grey suit.
