The Hills is back. The least-real reality show out there (and that's saying something) begins its new season Tuesday, September 29, at 10 p.m. EST, on MTV.

This will be the first episode of The Hills without its former leading lady, Lauren Conrad, the series' regulars will continue bringing ample drama to Hollywood.

For instance, there's newly-married Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Conrad's BFF Lo Bosworth and Audrina Patridge, and former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari.

Here's the new face of the program ...

Despite not being connected to any of the other stars in the previous five seasons, Kristin Cavallari was brought in specifically to replace Lauren Conrad.

And to stir up drama.

"Basically...they want me to come in and start drama," she said of coming on board. "I'm good for it, it's fun. Drinking, fighting, hooking up - all that good stuff!"

At least one cast member welcomes the casting change.

"There wouldn't be a Hills if there wasn't a Kristin Cavallari, because the Laguna Beach brand wouldn't have had the power," Spencer Pratt said.

"We still love Lauren, we'd love to have you come back on the show. But hey, you were the calm, quiet girl trying to steal Kristin's boyfriend, the cool girl at school."

"So shout-out to the cool girl joining The Hills!"

There's a new controversy swirling around the Twilight Saga.

And it's got nothing to do with Team Edward vs. Team Jacob.

Yesterday, Summit Entertainment announced that it had recast the role of Victoria in Eclipse. Bryce Dallas Howard will be taking over for Rachelle Lefevre.

The studio says that Lefevre's shooting schedule for her next movie, Barney Version, coincides too much with the production of the third film in this iconic franchise. In a statement she just released, it's clear the actress disagrees:

“I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for Eclipse. I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. My commitment to Barney’s Version is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for Eclipse.

Does Rachelle Lefevre have a legitimate beef? Do you wanna see her in the role of Victoria?

Although the production schedule for Eclipse is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part.

I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the Twilight audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of Eclipse only the very best.“

In response, the movie studio wrote:

"Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to the other project – which she chose to withhold from Summit until the last possible moment – makes her unfortunately unavailable to perform the role of Victoria in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."

Jude Law is going to be a father for the fourth time.

The mother? Not known! Well, to us. He probably knows.

His spokesperson has released the following statement:

“Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year."

"Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child’s life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made on the subject.”

There you have it. Jude Law is currently single and has three children with his former wife, Sadie Frost. Congratulations on the birth of #4 ... right?

He and Sienna Miller called off their engagement in 2005 after Law admitted to having an affair with his three children's nanny, Daisy Wright. Player.

Busy as always, he will appear on Broadway in Hamlet, which opens in October, and will star with Robert Downey Jr. in the movie Sherlock Holmes.

She has been plenty busy on the uber-successful summer comeback tour for No Doubt, and yesterday (July 29) Gwen Stefani was spotted arriving at a hotel in Irvine, California ahead of her gig there.

The “Hella Good” songstress was joined by her husband Gavin Rossdale and two sons Kingston and Zuma as she disembarked her tour bus and headed inside.

Based on the latest Billboard 200 list, that prophecy might finally be coming true.

The young singer's album, "Here We Go Again," sold 107,000 copies last week and is currently the top-selling CD in all the land.

Well, sort of. Michael Jackson’s "Number Ones" actually sold 151,000 copies but it doesn’t count for the Billboard 200 because it’s too old.

An unusual, nonsensical rule? Yes. But at least it gives Demi something to celebrate. Hopefully this helps on her road to cutting recovery.

Well? Who should be the next Bachelor?

We aren't always big fans of Miley Cyrus, due to her constant need for attention and ever-growing ego, but we would never wish harm on the Disney star.

That's why we hope she's tightened security around her.

Last month, Mark McLeod was arrested for stalking Cyrus outside of Savannah, Georgia.

A resident of Appling, Georgia, McLeod was apprehended in Tybee Island, outside the set of Miley's new movie The Last Song, after telling police he was engaged to the singer/actress.

Standing among throngs of fans at the Tybee Island pier, McLeod also said the teen icon communicated with him through secret messages in photos and in episodes of Hannah Montana.

When first approached by the cops, McLeod, 53, began screaming and fought officers that tried to arrest him. It turns out he was violating a court order to stay away from Cyrus, as he often shows up to events that she attends, including a March book signing in New York.

But here's where it gets really scary: McLeod was released from prison the day after his arrest!

Indeed, he's now on the loose, a decision that was made due to jail overcrowding and one defended by Sheriff Al St Lawrence. He said: 

“If we had heard something about this guy supposedly being a stalker or he had been charged with a felony he wouldn’t have been released."

McLeod is due in court on September 1 to answer to a pair of misdemeanor charges. Until then, we hope Justin Gaston or Nick Jonas - whoever Miley is dating these days - keeps a close eye on the young star.

British supermodel Jourdan Dunn has shocked the celebrity fashion world by pulling a Jamie Lynn Spears - she announced she is pregnant at the age of 19.

Just kidding about Jamie Lynn Spears. She wasn't even close to 19.

The London native, who’s already been named Model of the Year and landed lucrative deals with Gap and Topshop, is expecting her first child in December.

Despite her young age, Jourdan Dunn has been with the same boyfriend now for several years and the couple are eagerly anticipating the baby's arrival.

British fashion model Jourdan Dunn is pregnant at the age of 19.

The model has a close network of family and friends and has been receiving huge support from them too, as she prepares for her new arrival, her rep said.

“I’m lucky - I’m feeling really well. I’m healthy and happy!” she told Vogue.

Working away on her latest project, Emma Roberts was spotted on the set of “Valentine’s Day” in Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 29).

Getting cheeky with photographers, the “Hotel for Dogs” hottie stuck out her tongue as she shot a few scenes inside a classic automobile during the day’s filming.

You could call Kid Rock the anti-Ashton Kutcher.

While the latter has amassed more Twitter followers than there are people in the state of Rhode Island, the former would just as soon kill himself than Tweet.

And while we dislike his use of "gay" as an apparent synonym for "lame," there is something to be said about this honest, surprisingly self-aware analysis:

"It's gay. If one more person asks me if I have a Twitter, I'm going to tell them, 'Twitter this [bleep], mother[bleep]er,'" the rocker recently told Rolling Stone.

Doing her best to avoid the rain, Amy Adams hurried inside CBS Studios in New York City earlier today (July 29).

The “Enchanted” actress is there to sit down with host, David Letterman, and chat it up about her upcoming film, “Julie & Julia.”

Kontrary to what Keeping Up with the Kardashians has depikted, Kim Kardashian is actually a very good actress.

This must be the kase, konsidering today's konflicting reports on how the reality TV is handling her break-up with Reggie Bush.

While Kourtney Kardashian insists that her sister "is great," a source tells Life & Style otherwise.

"It really wasn't sudden," a friend of Bush's told the tabloid. "For the past few months, it's been clear that although Reggie and Kim love each other, the distance had put a wedge in their relationship... It was tough, but they decided this was the only way to go."

Reggie is off to New Orleans for training camp with the Saints, while Kardashian is stuck in California, filming her family's reality show.

Might there be a rekonciliation in this kouple's future? Kim is kounting on it.

"Kim believes they can work it out," said a pal of the socliate. "She knows she's been selfish and hasn't put enough time into the relationship because she's so focused on her career. She feels terrible about it - but she hopes more than anything this time will be spent working on the issues that came between them."

Tony Romo dumped Jessica Simpson the night before her birthday July 10.

But was the Dallas Cowboys quarterback hitting another receiver deep (if you know what we mean) prior to that? That's what new reports are insinuating.

Jessica Simpson exuberantly announced "the man who loves [her]" was at a February 6 concert - seemingly not concerned about Tony Romo was sitting with Natalie Smith, a younger, skinnier look-alike of the alleged singer and actress.

And that's not all. According to Us, Tony Romo had been sending "flirty texts" to Natalie Smith for months while still putting up with Jessica Simpson.

After the show, Tony Romo introduced Simpson to Smith, 22, the daughter of the athletic director at Romo's alma mater, Eastern Illinois University.

"We hung out for, like 10 to 15 minutes, backstage," said Natalie Smith (pictured above) according to the celebrity gossip tabloid. "She was cool and nice."

But multiple sources says Simpson should have been suspicious, as Romo had an "emotional affair" with Natalie Smith months before dumping Jessica.

"They are not officially dating, but are having an intimate relationship," a Smith source says. Adds another pal of Smith, who typically dined with Romo when he'd visit his college town: "They've always flirted and texted each other."

"They had phone conversations one to two months before the breakup."

It gets better. While Simpson is a "wreck" over the news, Natalie Smith is supposedly "determined not to become clingy like Jessica." Good call, Nat!

Hard at work on her new movie, “Going the Distance,” Drew Barrymore was spotted this morning (July 29) on set in New York City.

When finished with her scenes, the “Wedding Singer” babe walked arm in arm with a gal pal while wearing some super cool shades.

Not letting her relationship woes get in the way of her work duties, Kim Kardashian paid a visit to MTV studios in new York City on Wednesday (July 29).

Trying to slide by paparazzi unnoticed, the E! reality starlet visited the network building for an appearance on “It’s On with Alexa Chung”.

First, Nick Lachey went on record that there was no truth to reports he may be getting back together with his newly single ex-wife, Jessica Simpson.

Now comes bad news for fans hoping Simpson’s ex-boyfriend John Mayer will heal her heart. Well, assuming anyone was hoping that. He won't be.

"Absolutely not," Mayer's pal Rob Dyrdek, 35, told People Monday night at Ryan Scheckler's X Games Celebrity Skins Classic" in Coto De Caza, Calif.

The douchebag and Jessica Simpson dated on-and-off for a year before splitting in 2007. Dyrdek says he "wouldn't rule out" a reunion, but adds:

"I'm just saying [I don't think so]."

Johnicca was pretty much the sexiest couple in history.

Earlier this month, the lame singer found himself in the middle of Simpson's breakup with her boyfriend, Tony Romo, as reports surfaced that he had been texting the pop star. In May, a source reported the exes "have been in touch."

Whatever the reason, Romo locked her out of his gated community shortly after their breakup, and Mayer does not seem interested in her at all.

Still, it looks like Jessica Simpson will need more than her new "revenge diet" to snare a new man. She may need a new personality altogether.

Hopefully her bodyguards are on top of their game because a man stalking Miley Cyrus has been released from custody due to the overcrowding at a Georgia jail.

53-year-old Mark Mclead was arrested and booked on two misdemeanor charges last month in Tybee Island, Georgia, after standing in a crowd of people watching Miley film her latest movie and making crude comments to young girls in the crowd.

Tending to her motherly duties, Jennifer Garner was spotted chauffeuring her daughter Violet to the doctor’s office in Santa Monica on Wednesday (July 28).

Leading the way as her little girl followed along, the former “Alias” actress seemed to have a pleasant visit - as she left with several stickers stuck on her arm.

Before setting out for Pennsylvania to cover Jon and Kate Gosselin for Star Magazine, reporter Kate Major joked to friends, "I could be the next Kate!"

Turns out that's exactly what happened.

It was not long before the 26-year-old began a torrid fling with Jon - all while he was still hitting it with family-friend-turned-girlfriend Hailey Glassman.

When she met Jon at his $1.1 million home July 17, it was love at first sight for Kate Major. It began when Jon's bodyguard asked her to move her car.

“I introduced myself as a reporter and said, 'I’d like to meet Jon,'" Major recalls. The bodyguard’s response to her inquiry? “I bet he wants to meet you.”

At that point, the bodyguard snapped a cell phone photo of Kate and texted it to Jon Gosselin, who wrote back immediately, “Yes! I want to talk to her.”

So basically, Jon is being pimped out by his bodyguard. Soon enough, she was inside his house. Shortly after, he was inside her ... gossip magazine.

A whirlwind romance - and love triangle - followed immediately.

Hailey Glassman, Jon's 22-year-old play thing, was completely clueless (which is par for the course for her) about Kate Major and her romance with Jon that she even gushed to Kate about Jon when the trio met for an interview at Starbucks.

"I felt conflicted about liking Jon when I realized how nice [Hailey] was - I felt so bad for her,” Kate Major said afterward. “But I didn’t plan anything.”

Jon Gosselin says he is single now, and focused only on his kids. But he and the former Star reporter (she resigned due to a conflict of interest, as if anyone takes Star seriously anyway) spent Friday in NYC and the weekend in the Hamptons.

"Jon had an appointment in New York City," a source said. "Jon had a meeting and Kate needed to pick up some clothes. Then they headed back to the Hamptons."

The reality TV dad and Kate 2.0 have been staying with Michael Lohan, and on their most recent trip out to Long Island, they dined at Red Bar Brasserie with The Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin and her husband Bobby (above).

Who should Jon Gosselin date?

Who says reality shows can't have happy endings?!?

Just five months ago, Jillian Harris was a woman dumped, Molly Malaney was a woman hated and Melissa Rycroft was a woman scorned. Now?

Jillian is moving in with Ed Swiderski; Molly is in a committed, solid relationship with Jason Mesnick; and Melissa is engaged, as well as thrilled for both her former competitors on The Bachelor.

When asked by Chris Harris on last night's After the Final Rose special on ABC, Rycroft had one simple answer about whether Mesnick chose the right mate in Malaney: "Yes."

It took many (or, really, just a few) months, but Melissa Rycroft, Molly Malaney and Jillian Harris have all found love.

Pressed about her infamous public dumping in March, Melissa admitted that it was tough.

"It's not easy being that person. It's hard to be that person because on one hand, there's the embarrassment factor. The other times that it happened in my life, it was private and I could cope privately," Rycroft told viewers. "This was very public. Everybody saw the hurt and they saw the crying, but it's definitely been something I’ve embraced and love, because my friends, family, everybody back home was right there to help me."

In the end, she added: "I think what everybody saw was one of the best things that has happened to me in my life."

Perhaps now the public can give Jason and Molly a break. Everyone seems happier than ever.

It helps, of course, that Melissa has found a new man: fiance Tye Strickland.

"It's funny because it didn't start back up again as a romance," Rycroft said of how she fell for with her friend. "He had called me in early January, and during the whole Bachelor hoopla, he really, truly became my best friend, corny as it sounds. That's how that started up again."

We wish Melissa and Tye; Jillian and Ed; and Molly and Jason nothing but the best!

As anyone familiar with Late Night knows, Jimmy Fallon is not funny.

He has, however, been waging a tireless campaign to get the cast of Saved By the Bell to reunite on his show. And that is something we can appreciate.

While most of those involved with the series - namely Zack Morris, a.k.a. Mark-Paul Gosselaar - are up for it, Tiffani Thiessen has yet to sign on.

This is an outrage. But at least she has bothered to explain why.

Eh, it's probably for the best. Heck, if it doesn't feature Dustin Diamond defiling local college girls or being foreclosed upon by Wisconsin bad credit mortgage companies, then we don't want any part of this Saved By the Bell tribute.

Readers responded, overwhelmingly, in the negative. Many seemed aghast that we dared to compare anyone with the Twilight hunk, but it only seemed natural.

After all, on The Vampire Diaries, Wesley is portraying a vampire with a good heart and an eye on a lovely, young, human high school student. Sound familiar?

At Comic-Con last week, aware of the inevitable comparisons, Wesley admitted that he's really no Robert Pattinson.

"I just want to create a character independent of that," Wesley told a fan that asked about similarities between he and Pattinson's roles. "Besides, I think nine out of 10 girls would throw me under a bus to get to Edward Cullen."

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star looked lovely in MC Hammer esque pants with a flowy, turquoise top, but one thing missing from Kim’s usual look was her smile.

Now that she’s back to being single, everyone seems to be wondering if Jessica Simpson and any of her exes will be rekindling their old flames.

After ex-husband Nick Lachey cleared the air stating there will be no reunion, now reports are saying there’s no chance with John Mayer either!

It’s definitely a wonderful time of the year to get married, and as of this weekend, Ali Larter will be officially wed.

Foul-mouthed Gordon Ramsay is famed for his sweary aggravated rants at wannabe chefs, but it looks like this time he may have bitten off a bit more than he can chew.

On the American version of Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay managed to offend a contestant -  ex-Marine Joseph - so much that he ended up confronting the chef and challenging him to “take it outside”.

Eventually the producers of the programme had to intervene and Joseph was asked to “get out”, and not a moment too soon by the looks of it…

Either Chris Brown and Rihanna have been sneaking around and trying to keep things on the down low, or New York City is a much smaller place than we thought.

The pop star is monitored by personal trainer Tracy Anderson, to whom she was introduced by Gwyneth Paltrow. Anderson told the UK's Daily Mail the following:

"I have completely changed Madonna’s body. I told her to forget everything she had been taught before and give up yoga, which can make you look very veiny."

The trainer further distanced herself from the freaky biceps: "Madonna’s very healthy and looks fantastic but those veins have nothing to do with me."
