Fortunately, this low point in celebrity fashion history was debuted at an event a good cause, at least. Lady Gaga attended an AIDS charity gathering held by Body Positive North West in Manchester, England, on Monday.
The 23-year-old singer said: “I have a lot of gay and lesbian friends who are confronted by the fears of that sort of lifestyle. I am a very supportive, proactive woman and I really just wanted to paint with them today.”

Given his high-profile legal woes as of late, Chris Brown was reportedly pulled from this past weekend’s BET Awards performer roster, a move that was encouraged by multiple parties.
An inside source revealed that the Reverend Al Sharpton was one of the objectors to Brown’s presence at the event. “Al made such a fuss to the BET executives that they pulled Chris.”
Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson's ex-wife and mother of his two eldest kids, has left messages in hopes of getting in touch with the late singer's family.
She's been unsuccessful so far, according to reports.
"We've been trying to reach them at different numbers," says Marc Schaffel, a former Jackson business associate who's close with Debbie Rowe. "We don't know if who we have been leaving messages with have gotten the messages."
Rowe is the legal parent of Prince Michael Jackson I (a.k.a. Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr.), 12, and Paris Jackson, 11, and most sources close to the situation think that she can likely obtain custody of the two children if she chooses.
Jackson's third child, Prince Michael Jackson II (a.k.a. Blanket), 7, was born to Michael via an unnamed surrogate who has never once been identified.
The children's grandmother and Michael's mother, Katherine Jackson, was granted temporary guardianship after filing a petition in L.A. Probate Court.
In the 22-page document, Katherine claims the kids "have no relationship with their biological mother" and "have a long established relationship" with her.
"In all fairness I wouldn't say they are avoiding [Debbie]," Schaffel says, adding that Rowe usually contacts them through Jackson's business office. "Our understanding, though, is that the Jackson family does want contact with Debbie."
Schaffel says there were "several reasons" why Rowe reached out, including wanting "to offer input into a venue where they could have a public memorial."
"Debbie was absolutely devastated by Michael's death," he says.
"They had an incredible bond and friendship even prior to the marriage ... Debbie was a very good friend to Michael during all those years."
While Schaffel won't comment on whether Debbie Rowe has had contact with the kids the past few days, or will seek custody of them herself, "she understands it's a very difficult time for everybody involved, including the children."
"I think everybody involved would say they want to see the children have no more disruption in their life until their father has been put to rest."
Taking full advantage of a beautiful summer day in New York City, Robert Pattinson was spotted filming his new movie “Remember Me” in Central Park this morning (June 30).

In what appears to be yet another Internet death hoax this week, a fake AP report said the singer-songwriter, most famous for his one-hit wonder single "Never Gonna Give You Up" in 1987, had been found dead in a Berlin Hotel Room.
According to a CNN iReport that appeared to be based on a legitimate AP wire story, Astley's body was found at the Angleterre Hotel in Berlin:
"[Rick Astley] was found unconscious in his hotel bedroom and was unable to be resuscitated. He was pronounced dead on the scene."
However, the story did not appear on the official AP newswire, and a link on the Digg social networking site took visitors to a YouTube clip of Astley singing "Never Gonna Give You Up" and said, "You've beeen Rickrolled."
While the people reponsible for this probably thought this was pretty funny, it was a borderline move at best during a week in which several prominent figures died - Ed McMahon, Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Billy Mays.
Over the past week alone, fake news reports have surfaced saying such stars as Jeff Goldblum, George Clooney, and Natalie Portman had died.
Twitter hacking of Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears' accounts also suggested the premature demise of these talented youngsters. Will it ever end?

In the continuing investigation into the death of Michael Jackson, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has conducted a search of the late singer’s Beverly Hills Home.
According to a report, investigators returned to Jackson’s residence and recovered various pieces of evidence to help them with their plight to determine the details surrounding Jackson’s death.
He’s no stranger to international travel, and last night (June 29) Justin Timberlake was spotted out and about in London’s ‘Mayfair district.

Showing off one of the stranger hairstyles to be seen in recent memory, Lady GaGa ventured out in Manchester, United Kingdon on Monday (June 29).
The “Poker Face” singer was visiting volunteers in the Orange Rock Corps scheme, donning a hairdo fashioned in the shape of a giant button.
Michael Jackson's lawyer has a copy of the late singer's will and he intends to file it with the court, according to a report this afternoon on TMZ.
The Jackson family doesn't have a copy of the will, which is currently in possession of attorney John Branca. It's unclear how many wills Michael Jackson made out and when, but Branca believes he's looking at the most current.
Branca says he has a signed will by Michael Jackson that he intends to file within 30 days. It is unclear at this time what Jackson's will might say.
John Branca has a long history with Jackson, having brokered the singer's famous deal for Jackson to purchase The Beatles' publishing catalogue in 1985.
Branca and Jackson stopped working together in 2006, but interestingly, he was re-hired just weeks ago. Michael died Thursday of cardiac arrest.
So far, the confirmed autopsy results are unclear as to the cause. The leaked autopsy results from earlier today are apparently completely fabricated.
Meanwhile, initial papers have been filed with the court to probate Michael Jackson's estate, and it seems Jackson's mom and dad don't know Michael had a will.
The petition was filed by Michael's parents, Joe and Katherine Jackson, who also filed a petition to obtain guardianship of Michael's children in court today.
But the odd thing regarding the will is that the Jacksons filed the papers saying the music icon died "intestate" - or in layman's terms, without a will.
The petition asks that Katherine Jackson be named as administrator of the will, meaning she wants to call the shots (and receive a commission, most likely).
The papers say Debbie Rowe, the mother of Michael's two older children, Michael Jr. (Prince I) and Paris, will be served with notice of a hearing.

According to The New York Daily News, the actors sat next to each other during a dinner with 10 friends, including director Oliver Stone, at Nobu on Thursday. But that wasn't all!
“They definitely seemed into each other,” said a witness, who added that LaBeouf followed Fox out the door around 10 p.m.

There may not have been a rose ceremony, and it may not have taken place in front of any TV cameras, but reports indicate that Melissa Rycroft has been proposed to once again.
On Friday night, according to The Dallas Morning News, Rycroft and boyfriend Tye Strickland showed up at Brio Tuscan Grille in Southlake, Texas. They were joined by a pair of older couples, rumored to be each side's parents.
This spring, Tye Strickland accompanied Melissa Rycroft to Dancing with the Stars training. Now, he'll accompany her to bed every night for the rest of their lives!
As a vase of fresh flowers sat on the table, whispers around the restaurant turned to the fact that Melissa and Tye got engaged earlier in the evening.
The newspaper cites sources that claim Rycroft was presented with a ring inside of a box that featured its own internal lighting (to make the diamond shine).
If this is true, the controversial Bachelor finale in March will have resulted in two happy endings: one for Rycroft and Strickland; and one for Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, who are together and very much in love, according to THG insiders.
Christian publisher Zonder van looks like it's going to postpone the debut date of Kate Gosselin's next book, Love is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories.
It was due out in November. But that was before the grating star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 was in the middle of an ugly public divorce from husband Jon Gosselin.
A Jon and Kate retrospective looking back at the couple's 10-year marriage airs tonight as TLC tries to gloss over the nastiness of the past few months.
But the book jacket's promise of "an inside look at one of America's most close-knit families" doesn't have the quite same ring it used to now, does it?
The book was to feature Kate Gosselin's favorite recipes, along with her tips on eating organically and "meaningful mealtime blessings." Maybe now she can rewrite it with a recipe for humble pie. Ohh, snap, you got served there, Kate.

Postponing - or even outright canceling - the book will undoubtedly hurt both Kate Gosselin and the publisher right where it counts, on the bottom line.
But Maureen "Moe" Girkins, the CEO of Zondervan, now says that the publisher plans to "work with Kate to reassess the schedule for her next book."
Kate's first two books published by Zondervan, Multiple Blessings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets and Eight Little Faces, were bestsellers.
No word if the publisher has acquired the rights to Deanna Hummel's forthcoming memoir, Hummers by Hummel: How I Seduced Jon Gosselin.
It's hard to imagine who would by a cookbook by Kate at this point, but who knows. Maybe she can put out a calendar of her bikini photos instead?

In the continuing saga of Michael Jackson’s death, a press conference was held earlier today (June 29) outside of the Jackson family home in Encino, CA, where both Reverend Al Sharpton and Michael’s father, Joe Jackson, said a few words.
The PR event began with Reverend Al Sharpto, who said, “The entire Jackson family have really been expressing how gratified they are about the outpouring support from around the world for the love of Michael and love of his family.”
Fred Travalena, the Las Vegas cutup and late-night TV stalwart known as "The Man of a Thousand Faces," died Sunday at age 66 after a long battle with cancer.
According to news reports, Fred Travalena passed away at his Encino, Calif., home from non-Hodgkins lymphoma, which he was diagnosed with in 2002.
He also was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2003, after which the funnyman spent five years in remission before the lymphoma returned last July.
Travalena's master mimicry ran the fame gamut from Frank Sinatra, Jack Nicholson, Bugs Bunny, Dr. Ruth, Clint Eastwood and Bruce Springsteen to presidents like JFK and Richard Nixon. He boasted of having nearly 400 voices in his repertoire.
Fred was featured on shows ranging from The Jetsons and Scooby-Doo to The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson, The Late Show With David Letterman and The New Hollywood Squares. He also made appearances on Love Boat and Fantasy Island.
Fred Travalena is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lois, two sons and a granddaughter. Our condolences go out to his family, as well as to the families and friends of Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays and Michael Jackson.

The newlyweds jetted off to the Caribbean island of St. Lucia for a nine-day honeymoon Sunday. Here's hoping they party with Amy Winehouse while they're there.

Billy Mays, who took the art of the TV sales pitch to a new level, died of an heart attack Sunday morning, Florida authorities close to the situation revealed.
A medical examiner in Florida says Mays showed no evidence of head trauma, despite being struck on the head on board an airliner that made a rough landing.
That flight took place on Saturday night.
The TV advertising guru arrived home safely, despite the difficult landing, but Billy Mays was found dead early Sunday morning at his Tampa house.
Preliminary autopsy results show that Mays suffered from hypertensive heart disease, Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Vernard Adams said.

Toxicology and tissue tests will take several weeks before a final cause of death is issued, he said. But the autopsy showed no evidence of trauma to the head, either external or internal, despite Billy Mays hitting it on the plane.
The autopsy showed that Mays' heart was heavier than normal because the left ventricle had enlarged, a symptom of heart disease, Adams said, also noting that investigators had ruled out prescription drug abuse as a cause of his death.
Billy Mays was taking prescription painkillers Tramadol and hydrocodone for hip pain, but pill counts showed that Mays had taken the correct amount.

The 65-year old was diagnosed in March, but he told Britain's The Daily Mail that the disease was found early and, following surgery, he feels "right as rain."
Instead of removing the cancerous tumor immediately, Goodman actually continued his role on Dancing with the Stars for two months, critiquing Melissa Rycroft, Gilles Marini and others without showing any signs of the discomfort he was experiencing.
"I could have said 'sorry' and not done the show, but the doctors felt I wasn't riddled with it and it wasn't so far advanced that it was a life-or-death scenario," Goodman told th newspaper. "It takes a few weeks to get everything set up for the operation anyway, so I went ahead and did the show. I had the surgery done as soon as I got back from America."
Feeling fine, Goodman points to the major downside of his cancer scare.
"You can't play golf, which is the biggest blow at the moment."

In the latest update of the custody arrangement for the late Michael Jackson’s children, the singer’s mother Katherine Jackson has been granted temporary guardianship.
According to a report, the Los Angeles Supreme Court granted the petition for Ms. Jackson until a hearing on August 3rd to determine of she’ll become the permanent guardian.

A guardianship petition has been filed for Michael Jackson's children by 79-year-old Katherine Jackson, the late superstar's mother, according to reports.
She is asking the court to appoint her the guardian for all three kids. The petition states the kids have "no relationship with their biological mother."
That would be Debbie Rowe, in the case of Michael Jackson's older two children, Michael Jackson, Jr. (a.k.a. Prince Michael Jackson) and Paris Jackson.
The biological mother of his youngest child, Prince Michael Jackson II (a.k.a. Blanket) is not known, and believed by most sources to be a surrogate.
According to the petition, the three children of Michael Jackson are in the care of Katherine Jackson and they have "a long established relationship."

Katherine Jackson thinks it would be "best" to appoint her guardian of the star's offspring because they have been and are "comfortable in her care."
Debbie Rowe is named as mother of two kids (ages 12 and 11) in the petition. The petition says the value of Michael Jackson's assets is unknown.
As for Prince Michael II, Michael's third child, in the box where it says "mother" the box is checked "none." His DOB is listed as January 21, 2002.
The petition says it's "not known at this time" whether the mother (Rowe) will seek custody or if she agrees Katherine should be the legal guardian.
A hearing is now set for August 3 to hear the petition.
