Wow. Sam Lutfi may be even shadier than thought, and that's saying a lot, considering that's pretty much the only calling card of this bad seed.
Britney Spears's hairstylist testified in a Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday that Lutfi - the singer's shady, evil, manipulative former manager - was harassing her with calls and text messages over a period of three weeks in December.
"Someone kept calling me from a private number ... he said his name was Sam," Roberta Romero stated Wednesday. "He wanted information about Britney Spears. He said he was on her side. I told him, 'Leave me alone, stop calling me.'"
Lutfi allegedly sent Romero a series of 11 texts within a four day period, saying things like, "Please relay the truth to her. I did not do this to her," apparently referring to her father Jamie Spears' indefinite control over the singer.

Sam Lutfi also allegedly sent the following text to Romero: "I've done everything I can to free her from this. Very close to getting her free now."
On another occasion he allegedly wrote: "I went to court to free her."
Romero says she repeatedly told Lutfi to leave her alone via text.
The hearing was held to determine whether to uphold a restraining order, filed by Britney's father, against Lutfi and ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.
After three hours of proceedings, the restraining order was extended to March 18, with the case to resume April 1 to hear more witnesses.
Romero testified about an evening on December 27 when she and Britney went to watch Brad Pitt's new movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Sam Lutfi had been sending text messages to Romero that evening, and later, the two women texted back, "Leave me the [expletive] alone."
At some point that evening, Lutfi sent yet another text to Romero, asking "Can you wish her a Merry Christmas for me?" At 2 a.m., the women sought help from the singer's bodyguard, Itamar Gelbman, who also testified in court.
"[Britney Spears] complained Sam was texting her, and that she's scared," Gelbman said in court. "She asked for more patrols [around the house]."
"She wanted me to do more, to make sure everything was locked. She couldn't fall asleep because of [Sam's texts to Romero]. She told me to make him stop."
Gelbman says he called Lutfi and told him to leave the women alone.
Lawyers for Jamie Spears said Lutfi had been subpoenaed on Tuesday night for cross-examination in court. The process server taped a notice to appear on his car windshield, they said, but Lutfi (stunningly) failed to show up in court.
His attorney, Bryan Freedman, claimed that Lutfi wasn't properly served, and has denied repeatedly that his client has been harassing the singer.
When a process server approached Adnan, meanwhile, he was allegedly struck by Ghalib's Mercedes, breaking his wrist. Adnan was arrested for this.
Jamie Spears is desperately trying to rid Britney's life of these two.

Rihanna’s mother, Monica Fenty, has now become so concerned about her daughter communicating with Chris that she’s confiscated her mobile phone. An inside source commented:
"Her friends had to intervene when he texted her shortly after."
Her mother has now hidden the phone, and is trying to convince Rihanna to stay in Barbados until the court date on March 5th, where the star is expected to testify.
Meanwhile Chris Brown is reportedly taking anger management classes, but only because he feels the classes will improve his public image. A source revealed:
"Chris doesn’t actually have to go by law, but he believes it will make him look better."
What a nice man! However, improving public relations should be the least of his concerns; legal expets have said that since this is a first offence for the singer, it’s unlikely he’ll receive a jail sentence – news which has sparked considerable fear for his safety. A friend of Chris’ said:
"Chris is scared. Not only did he probably lose his career and his girlfriend, but he's also fearing for his security and his life." Another music insider added:
"Chris is a marked man. He faces criminal charges and possible jail time, but he's going to have to deal with Rihanna's legion of fans and her close-knit friends in the industry."

As it currently stands Jack is tagged and has to return to his mothers house by 7pm every night as part of his early release from an 18-month jail sentence for assaulting a teenager with a golf club.
This is said to be causing ‘extreme distress’ to Jade and yesterday as Jack arrived to meet probation officers he was quoted as saying, “Hopefully they will relax the tag to let me be with Jade. She's my wife and she needs me by her side.”

Out on yet another leg of their promotional tour, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman were spotted in Tokyo, Japan earlier today (February 26) for the premiere of “Australia.”

Unfortunately Jamie didn’t have enough cash for the journey to her pad, so Peaches came back downstairs to give him some change. As she did, we noticed she’d completely changed her outfit and spruced-up her appearance a little in preparation for the late night meeting. The pair then headed upstairs in the lift together. Hmmm….

Troubled R&B singer Chris Brown, who was arrested two weeks ago on suspicion of making criminal threats against girlfriend Rihanna, has started attending anger management classes in Glendale, Calif., on Monday, according to reports.
According to a source, Brown opted to seek anger management counseling at the behest of his public relations spin doctor, Michael Sitrick.
"Chris doesn't actually have to go by law," a New York Daily News insider says, "but he believes it will make him look better to the public, and he wants to try to get in a few classes before March 5," when he is due back in court.
The February 7 incident - in which Brown hit, choked and threatened Rihanna, leaving her with cuts and bruises to her forehead, lips and cheeks - didn't just leave Rihanna looking like this. It severely tarnished Brown's good-guy image.
But insiders believe he's not the only one with anger issues: "Rihanna is temperamental, too," says a snitch. "They're both too hot-headed for their own good."
Adds another source, in reference to a detail in the police report: "It didn't help that Rihanna grabbed the keys out of his rented Lamborghini and threw them down the street. She knew it would really infuriate Chris, and it worked."
The hottest couple in music is likely finished romantically after this, but when will their paths cross again physically? How about at Brown's trial.
"She'll be there - she has to testify," confirms a source close to the case, who does not foresee any jail time for Brown, regardless of Rihanna's level of cooperation. "If Chris is convicted, it would be his first offense. He won't go to prison."

Less than 24 hours after a warrant for his arrest was issued, Adnan Ghalib has turned himself. Charged with three felonies, he went to court and pled not guilty.
Ghalib allegedly struck a process server - who was attempting to hand him a subpoena to appear in the Britney Spears restraining order case - with his Mercedes.
The L.A. County D.A. has charged Ghalib with felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony battery and felony hit and run. He is free after posting $110,000 bail.
Lawyers for Britney Spears went to L.A. Superior Court January 20 to get temporary restraining orders against Ghalib and her former manager, Sam Lutfi.
Jamie Spears, who serves as his daughter's conservator, says Lutfi and Ghalib were sending threatening text messages and trying to take control of Britney.
There was also a prepaid phone one of the two is said to have given her. Papa Jamie went ballistic when he overheard Britney communicating with Adnan.
Earlier this month, the LAPD confirmed that a report was filed on Ghalib alleging he committed assault with a deadly weapon - his Mercedes - February 11.
A source said the court officer attempted to serve Ghalib the restraining order papers, but when spotted, the paparazzo "turned his wheels towards the agent and hit him with his vehicle," causing the officer to fall "on the hood of the car while Adnan was speeding and zig zagging in the alley for 30 to 40 yards."
Adnan Ghalib allegedly fled the scene, the source said, and the officer spent the night in the ER with a fractured wrist and other injuries.
Britney Spears and Ghalib hooked up in late 2007 - around the time she was hospitalized against her own will twice for severe mental health issues.
Meanwhile, Britney's lawyers are currently at L.A. Superior Court arguing whether or not to make the restraining order against Ghalib and Lutfi permanent.
Britney's former security guard testified that Lutfi sent late-night texts to Spears' hairstylist until Britney contacted Lutfi, via the guard, to ask him to stop.

Following in the footsteps of the plethora of fashionable celebrities out there, Kevin Federline is thinking about branching out into the clothing line industry.
The 30-year-old rapper opened up to Women’s World Daily explaining his interest of starting a reasonably priced line for kids. He added that with the economy the way it is, he can’t imagine paying “mucho dollars” for a pair of kids jeans anymore.
Even though she walked away from the Oscars empty handed, Anne Hathaway was just thrilled to find herself as a nominee at the prestigious annual event for her work in “Rachel Getting Married”.
Since her weekend Academy Awards stop in Los Angeles, the 26-year-old brunette beauty has been traveling about the country, most recently spotted passing through Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Tuesday (February 24).
Getting nabbed by the law, Britney Spears’ former paparazzo lover Adnan Ghalib turned himself in to police custody earlier this morning at the LAPD’s Van Nuys station.
Upon being booked, Ghalib was charged with a felony as a result on an incident in which he ran over a court officer who was trying to serve a restraining order via Miss Spears.
Yesterday's release of The Hills trailer for the upcoming new season seemed to indicate that the show was coming full circle and winding toward its conclusion.
Lauren Conrad has now confirmed as much.
The MTV star, who fans of Laguna Beach and The Hills have watched evolve for years now, will finally be retiring from reality TV when the new season ends.
“My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it’s still a great thing,” she told Seventeen, which features her on its new cover.
“I always want to remember it that way. I gave MTV a deadline and said, ‘This is as long as I can do it and stay sane.’”
Despite becoming wealthy and famous as a result of her two hit shows, Lauren Conrad has indicated her desire for more privacy was becoming an issue.
Another factor that might have played into her decision? Unlike her past romances with Stephen Colletti, Brody Jenner and Jason Wahler, LC has kept her current relationship with actor Kyle Howard away from the MTV cameras.
The two have been exclusive for some time, although the 23-year-old, who is also a successful fashion designer, won’t even officially call him her boyfriend.
“[Kyle] is a friend,” Lauren Conrad tells the magazine. “I’m a big fan of labels, but the girlfriend one doesn’t always look good on me. Ha!”
The Hills may be wrapping up in 2009, but its star will shine on in the celebrity gossip universe for years to come. We'll make sure of it.

Sweet lord, can he ever. No one will ever take that away from the fertile one. But does that mean he can produce a successful kids clothing line?
Apparently, he's going to try, having been inspired by these lean economic times (which is ironic, as his ballooning waistline is very far from lean).
Given the state of economy, Kevin Federline can't fathom throwin' down $200 for phat True Religion jeans for his boyz, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
So, according to a Women's Wear Daily report, he wants to start a children's clothing line - and is in talks with Gerard Guez about a licensing deal.
Kevin Federline, who made an overnight stop at a Las Vegas trade show in the interest of research, said he was scoping out the styles for inspiration.
"It's a tough business, I'm trying to take it seriously and make a quality product, but not have parents pay $500 or something ridiculous for a pair of jeans," said K-Fed, who receives $20,000 a month in child support from Britney Spears.
"You buy your kids a pair of True Religions then they roll around in the dirt like kids do and a $200 pair of jeans is gone," the FedEx man added. "With this economy, I’m just looking to do something much more reasonable."
He plans on calling the new clothing like Federleezy Fo Yo Bad Economeezy. Just kidding. No word yet on the name of the line or a release date.

Apparently life after Britney Spears is all down hill. Unless you are Justin Timberlake. Or Kevin Federline. Ok, maybe life is actually good after Britney Spears unless you are Adnan Ghalib, the former paparazzi lover of the bad Britney…you know, the one that used to frequent Conoco stations? Not tough to forget. Anyways, seems Adnan has an arrest warrant out for him for assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run, battery, really, all the basic charges. According to People magazine.
According to L.A. prosecutors, the victim was serving a temporary restraining order, obtained by Spears’s father, at Adnan Ghalib’s apartment complex in Encino on Feb. 11 when Ghalib got into his Mercedes and drove it toward the victim.
To avoid being penned against a trash truck, the victim jumped on the hood and hung on as the car swerved, eventually falling off and breaking his wrist, among other injuries, the District Attorney alleges. Ghalib allegedly drove away without stopping.
This sounds like some serious Chuck Norris stuff right here! Wow. Just wow.

We kan't say we saw this event koming for Kim Kardashian.
The former sex tape star attended the 2009 Diamond Information Center Dinner earlier this week. It was an event hosted by actress Julianne Moore and featuring the former president of Botswana.
The private dinner honored various designers and diamonds, as Hollywood pretty much flaunted its wealth in the face of growing economic distress. That's always nice to see.

Anyway, LiLo should have cause to party at the moment not argue, as she’s reportedly been offered a film role by Hollywood legend Warren Beatty.
Apparently Beatty is dangling a new movie role in front of Lindsay, but it comes with a few strings attached: he wants the actress to live under his roof while he shoots the film! Which is ever so slightly creepy.
Beatty is said to have a script he wants to direct and star in, with Lindsay possibly playing his daughter. Would Lindsay even consider moving in with Warren Beatty just to act in one of his film? Wait a second, don’t answer that…
